Comparison of audience response between virtual exhibition and on-site exhibition contents in non-face-to-face situations (비대면 상황에서 가상 전시와 현장 전시 콘텐츠의 관객 반응 비교)

  • Due to COVID-19, the face-to-face on-site exhibitions were not held. With this opportunity, technologies such as virtual reality/augmented reality are increasing attention, and these technologies are being used in many fields. In this study, we made a virtual exhibition content which was produced using virtual reality technology. Our virtual exhibition was held in parallel with the on-site exhibition that included the same contents. Also this exhibition provided an opportunity to realistic experience using the head mounted display. In order to provide a high sense of presence, we created an open virtual space and used realistic 3D objects and textures. Although it is a virtual exhibition, the audience can experience a sense of realism like an on-site exhibition. After the exhibition was over, a survey was conducted on the audience who participated in both the on-site exhibition and virtual exhibition to analyze their responses. As a result of the survey, the similarity and immersion of the virtual exhibition were highly evaluated.

  • This study can be expressed by gathered and formed into the exhibition space's structure practical progress/ application. For the one model of fascinating exhibition's space thru inter-space's pertinent adjustment, production between spactator and exhibition constituent on an exhibition story-line, I adjusted the focus to follow mentioned methods systematically for the example; An exhibition space is completed to be very impressive and attractive space by proper adjustment and production of M-M/C interface in exhibition storyline. Quantity space is transfered into quality space through the transmission of an exhibition which can be define as the point of an exhibition structure. And also could de transferd into a bodily sensation space that inherent full of interactive constituent. Changeable exhibition constituents (exhibition item and text) that sporadically expatiated (not trimed, the original form) in the process of an exhibition structure draw much higer quality of the optimal solution in optimize process which is given when aggregate again to contextual flow of synthetic exhibition scenario. Reconstruction of individual exhibition constituents to the new story, that is, transference of exhibition text to exhibition context is inspirit to an exhibition by maximize the exhibition effect in connection can be systematized through carrying out an outcentripetalpart. However, since pattern of an exhibition structure that consequtively meet variety spacetime of an exhibittion environmental can't be exist, this study presents centralizing the exhibition plan of Korea communication pavilion of the annual Expo Comm Wireress Korea, sustained process from design proposal, research and analysis to synthesis, development, transmission and management to an example of an applying crystallization.

  • This study seeks some ways to improve archives exhibitions by comparing with museum exhibitions. For this purpose, this study overviews the present state of domestic archives exhibitions and extracts some features compared to museum exhibitions. And it suggests some improvement ways for archives exhibitions especially based on comparative analysis of the special exhibitions held by National Archives of Korea and National Folk Museum of Korea in memory of the 60th anniversary of National Foundation. It derived some ways to facilitate archives exhibitions hereafter, they were targeting distinctive customers for each area, communicating proper message for the theme and target of exhibitions, orienting theme-typed exhibitions, reflecting customers' feedback, exhibition educational services' invigorating, neutral interpretation of modern archives, and offering material on life and cultural history in priority.

  • 인문학 또는 인문과학은 정치, 경제 역사, 학예, 문화 등 인간과 인류문화에 관한 정신과학을 두루 이르는 말이다. 따라서 인문학은 전시의 소재로도 적합한 분야이고, 전시의 주제와 연출에 있어서도 바탕이 되는 학문이며, 전시 주최자의 기본 소양이기도 하다. 최근 인문학의 위기가 대두되고 있는 시점에서 인문학과 가상 전시의 결합은 인문학에 대한 가치를 활용과 문화콘텐츠라는 결과물에로 확장한다는데 그 의의가 있고, 가상 전시를 통해서 '경험 인문학'으로 인식할 수 있게 한다는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다.

Developing Exhibit Improving Model of Children's Science Museum and its Implication in Science Education: Based on the Nuri Curriculum (어린이과학관 전시 개선 모형 개발 및 적용에 따른 과학교육에서의 제언: 누리과정을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the exhibition model of children's science museum for children and to present the guideline for the exhibition of children's science museum. To this end, we proposed an exhibition of 'body', 'surrounding things', and 'natural phenomenon' as exhibition topics based on the exhibit evaluation framework and kindergarten curriculum. The direction and color elements are important for the exhibition of 'the body', and the presentation of the 'natural phenomenon' is suitable for the use of contextual media applying color and lighting. And it can be said that it is important to provide clues and fixtures for exploring objects based on the theme of 'surrounding objects'. In addition, in order to secure the validity of the developed exhibition model, we developed an exhibition link program for the 'mirror' exhibition of the exhibition model and applied it to visitors to the Gwangju Museum of Science. Therefore, it is meaningful that it provides the basic guidelines for exhibition planning, and it is necessary to plan exhibition to maximize the exhibition effect by directing exhibition contents, exhibition media and exhibition space suitable for the audience.

  • 전시산업은 전 세계적으로 지난 40여 년간 거의 불황을 모를 정도로 발전을 거듭하여 왔으나 2000년대 들어 전시산업 관련 업체들 간의 경쟁의 격화, 사이버 박람회의 출현, 인터넷의 보편화 등으로 새로운 변화의 시기를 맞이하고 있다. 현제 세계 전시산업을 전시면적, 참가업체, 참가 객 수 증가를 중심으로 한 전통적인 발전방향에서 벗어나 새로운 방향으로 빠르게 발전해 나가고 있다. 이러한 가운데 최근 들어 중국의 전시산업은 급속한 경제성장 및 방대한 내수시장을 배경으로 발전 속도가 가속화 되고 있으며 아시아 전시산업의 중심 국가로 발돋움하고 있다. 이제 막 성장 단계에 접어든 우리나라 전시산업은 그간 세계 전시산업 추세를 파악하는데 소홀히 해왔으며 아시아 전시산업 Hub국가로 도약하기 위해서는 해결해야 할 과제가 많다.

Analysis of Digital Exhibitions Reflecting Participation Experience of Visitors in Digital Exhibition Space (디지털 전시 공간에서 발생하는 관람자의 참여 경험이 반영된 디지털 전시의 분석)

  • This research proposes a suitable classification and analysis standard for digital exhibition to analyze digital exhibition. Through the previous studies on digital exhibition classification, the necessity of the new standard is suggested and the analysis standard which can be easily applied to the change of concept and form of the newly emerging digital exhibition is established. Digital exhibition should take into account the elements of audience participation that naturally arise from exhibition planning and interactive storytelling format. Classification and analysis of existing digital exhibition spaces are conceptual classification based on keywords. This is because traditional exhibition methodology has been applied in the process of classifying exhibitions and works. However, in digital exhibitions, the interactive aspect between exhibition space, works, and visitors become so important that it is necessary to perform a performative classification between the works and the audience in the digital exhibition. Accordingly, the way of participating directly or indirectly in the exhibition classification should be considered based on what the audience feel. In this research, the interpretation of the classification and composition of the exhibition is based on Benjamin's argument which the classification of the sensory experience of the audience and 'Aktualisierung' closely related to the interaction with the audience. We also present analysis standard for digital exhibition according to the structure of the art exhibition narrative based on the narrative structure of Chatman. This classification methodology will provide the exhibition information in a way that can be easily understood by the visitors and it will be a precedent research that secures the expansion and accessibility of the digital exhibition.

  • Exhibit space is result that various kinds works of architecture design, interior design, plan and control of exhibit program, embodiment to display space, operation and administration etc. are formed accomplishing creation. Because exhibit space must consider interaction of value that is in dwelled along with the external form about human and exhibits. Therefore, display space of exhibition must achieve functional role that can accomplish communication with spectator as well as function as place that possess products of accumulative value. Therefore, we must establish effective communication plan by position and form of display space as well as properly of exhibits, display contents, exhibit program to achieve purpose of trade fair display. Display space of trade fair can be classed by wall style, corner style, head style, island style, two entrance style 5 according to the position. And we must plan communication plan by these position dividing the function to passive communication area, active communication area, intensive communication area, function achievement area. We will can grope contents and method for successful exhibit through communication plan that is connected form and position of exhibit between exhibit space of such trade fair and we may achieve purpose of trade fair display.

  • Archive exhibitions are one of the important tasks of archives that promote the value of archives and contribute to increasing users' interest and positive image but have not yet been activated. Recently, there has been a shift from a one-way archive exhibition to a new way to draw attention and understanding from users by using archival contents. This study aims to propose ways to activate archive exhibitions by utilizing archival contents by analyzing the exhibits of domestic cultural heritage institutions. Focusing on ways to improve the understanding and utilization of records through archival contents, the proposed strategy for developing archive exhibition programs is a three-way contents-based exhibition, experiential exhibition, and digital environment-based exhibition. The results of this study are expected to help develop archival exhibition programs that will enhance users' interest and understanding of records.

  • In recent years, with thedevelopment of digital media technology immersive experiential exhibitions that provide realistic and realistic exhibition experiences to the audience are increasing In this study, the representative cases of these immersiveexperiential exhibitions were analyzed with a focus on the elements of the exhibition design. We also introduced the exhibition case of 'A Hero's Adventure' which was held and operated by applying game design elements to thethe directing planning of an immersive experience exhibition. In addition, the effects and utilization methods of the exhibition that applied game planning elements such as challenges goals conflicts rules and wins and losses were considered.
