An analysis of behavioral characteristics in drivers in roll-over accident (전복사고 운전자를 대상으로 자동차 안전장치에 대한 행동특성 분석)

  • This is to analyze of driver behavioral and the accident characteristics in rollover. The study period was January 2011 to May 2014 and the subject of study was 102 person who were drivers visited the emergency room. Research tool includes a damage information of the vehicle, accident mechanism, damage to the patient clinical information with the injury data from the ROAD Traffic Authority. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 was used for t-test, ANOVA and Chi-square test. Injury Severity Score average score according to the vehicle type is 6.00 points in the smaller vehicle, at high vehicle 11.78 points, from the other vehicle that showed 14.70 points. Significant differences between the three groups did not show (P=.267). Men did not use a seat belt significantly compared to women(P=.007). Vehicle type and weather, this was no correlation with whether or not use the seat belt(P=.755, P=.793). But showed a tendency to smaller size vehicles drivers do not use a seat belt, the weather could see a little more inclined to use a seat belt rather than a sunny day. Finally, in rollover accidents as in other types of accident it was confirmed that the seat belt has a great influence on the damage.

어선의 인명사고 원인분석에 관한 기초 조사연구

  • 우리나라의 경우 해양사고에서 어선이 차지하는 비율은 매우 높아 최근 5개년 동안 전체 해양사고중 어선사고 척수 및 비율은 4,361척 중 2,967척으로 68%를 점유하고 있으며 또 어선에 있어서 총톤수 20톤 이하의 소형어선에 의한 사고가 85%를 차지하고 있다.어선의 사고유형을 분석해 보면 기관손상이 30%정도 충돌・전복・침몰 사고가 30% 정도, 기타사고가 40%로 분석되고 있다. 따라서 해양사고비율이 가장 높은 어선사고로 부터 인명손실을 예방하기 위한 실용적이고 효과적인 대책이 시급한 실정이다.본 연구는 어선사고 중 다른사고에 비해 막대한 인명피해나 재산상의 손실을 초래하는 어선사고 유형인 전복/침몰・화재와 최근에 많이 발생하고 있는 낚시어선사고와 어업재해사고를 중점대상으로 사례조사를 통하여 자율적인 어선 인명사고 예방체제 수립 및 어업종사자의 안전의식 고취를 제고하기 위함이다.

  • 소형선박인 어선·낚시어선의 전복 사고로 인한 인명 사고가 지속적으로 발생 되어지고 있다. 소형선박인 어선·낚시어선의 운항 시 선박의 운항자가 선박의 실시간 복원성 상태 인지 없이 어업 또는 낚시 활동하는 동안 해양 환경 상태 또는 적화 상태 변화와 추가적인 외력에 의해서 선박의 전복 사고가 발생 되어진다. 본 연구에서는 소형선박 어선·낚시어선의 실시간 복원성 감시를 위한 안전키트의 실험적 검증을 실시했다. 안전키트의 자이로센서를 활용하여 실시간 횡요각 데이터 측정 및 주파수 분석하여 횡요주기를 도출하고 횡메타센터(GM)을 도출한다. 또한, 실사간 도출된 GM에 따라 국제해사기구(IMO, International Maritime Organization) 비손상 복원성 평가 기준 값을 추정한다. 실험적 검증을 통하여 개발된 소형선박 어선·낚시어선용 안전키트의 정확도 확인 및 개선점을 발견하였으며, 향후 연구 계획에 대해서 제시했다.

  • Recently, the aging of agricultural society has caused a rapid increase in safety accidents in -agricultural machinery. Sometimes, the wounded may be left unattended resulting serious situation. In order to solve these problems, ICT technology is used to detect and inform the accident quickly when a safety accident such as overturning, collision or other accidents occurs during the operation or moving the agricultural machinery, such as cultivator, rearing machine, and tractor. A system capable of minimizing the amount of data is required. In this paper, an ICT - based automatic accident detection & propagation system is proposed for the agricultural machinery accident such as colliding crashes or overturning of agricultural machinery. The proposed system enables quick rescue by sending a text message automatically to family, acquaintances, hospitals and 119 in the event of an agricultural accident.

  • In Early vessels did not provide an exact equation for preventig the capsizing vessels. On land, many vehicle rollover prevention technologies using the steady-state Conrning Equations were developed, which showed better performance than the exiting method at sea. For better performance, It is proposed to improve safety mangement when turning vessel using the Ackerman geometic model-based Cornering Equations in this paper.

Parametric Study of the Effects of Train Wind on Turnover Safety (차량 전복 안전성에 끼치는 열차 풍압의 파라메타 연구)

  • When constructing a high-speed railroad, the reduction of the distance between track centers and the width of track bed will save the construction cost. However the shortening the distance between track centers may cause the stability problems due to higher wind pressure. Therefore the extensive technical review and aerodynamical study should be performed to determine the adequate distance between track centers. In this study, the impact that the increase in wind pressure due to the change of aerodynamic phenomena with the change of the distance between track centers may have on two trains passing by each other was predicted, and the stability of train operation was analyzed in order to review the distance between track centers suitable to Honam HSR trains. We conducted the parametric study of the effects of train wind on the running stability.

A Proposal for the Calculation of the Boarding Capacity Considering the Stability of Excursion and Ferry Boats (유선 및 도선의 복원성을 고려한 승선정원 산출 제안)

  • Among excursion and ferry boats, small boats with a length of less than 12 m are exempted from the stability standard according to the ship safety act. The boarding capacity of these small excursion and ferry boats is calculated by the seating area according to the excursion ship and ferry business act. Many excursion and ferry boats have installed deck structures such as awnings after launching. Therefore, this study attempted to analyze the cause of the accident by estimating the stability based on the case of an actual ferry boat capsizing accident. The analysis results indicated that passengers stood up to disembark at the same time while the boarding capacity was exceeded. However, even if the ferry boat complied with the boarding capacity, a possibility of capsize existed if the passengers on one side of the boat stood up. Therefore, the following were suggested to improve the safety: calculating the boarding capacity using the stability test and recommending the maximum total weight for the boarding capacity.

  • Bus manufacturers have tested and studied the dynamic collapse behavior of a bus body structure in rollover since UN ECE established ECE Regulation 66 to provide the requirement for the strength of bus structure. In spite of the costly cycles of practical tests, however, it is still a hard task to meet the rollover regulation by means of local reinforcements in the bus structure. Therefore it is necessary to develop a well designed strategy for the rollover strength implemented in the early stage of vehicle development. In this study, the suitable development method for each design stage from a component to complete body structure was considered to make a well-established development process of a bus body structure for rollover safety. For the efficient approach of the concept design stage, a numerical model based on the plastic hinge theory was used instead of detailed shell models. After setting up the concept design for the component size and geometry, the shell model was used to confirm and optimize the whole structure composition. The process developed in this study was practically used as an effective method to predict the rollover behavior of a new bus body structure.

  • 현재 우리나라에서 발생하는 전체 해양사고 중 약80%가 소형어선에서 발생하고 있는데, 소형어선은 사고발생즉시 전복되기 때문에 전복과 동시에 신속히 구조요청이 이뤄져야 인명피해를 줄일 수 있다. 최근 도입된 GMDSS통신설비들은 자동화되어 매우 빠르게 구조요청이나 조난통보를 할 수 있게되어 있지만, 우리나라에서 발생하는 소형어선의 사고는 대부분 5톤 미만의 선박이고, 이들 소형선박들은 GMDSS제도하에 관리되지 못하고있는 실정이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구를 통하여 우리나라에서 빈번히 발생하는 소형선박의 해양사고를 줄이고자 육상의 이동통신망을 해상으로 화장하여 이용하는 방법을 제시하였다.
