Study on Cause Analysis of Capsizing Accident in Fishing Boat No. 66 Poongsung (어선 제66풍성호 전복사고 원인분석에 대한 연구)

  • According to the statistics of maritime accidents statistics that have occurred in Korea over the past five years, maritime accidents caused by fishing boats have increased every year from 1,646 in 2016 to 2,100 in 2020. In particular, of the 378 capsizing accidents that have occurred in the past five years, 252 capsizing accidents of fishing boats account for a high proportion of 66.7%, therefore, it is urgent to come up with countermeasures. In this study, to determine the cause of the capsizing accident of fishing boat No. 66 poongsung, data such as stability and seawater inflow routes were collected, and the effects of waterproof, additional wood decks, and windbreakers on stability on were quantitatively analyzed. Additional decks, windbreakers, and waterproof installed in No. 66 poongsung cause initial list, deteriorate stability, and fail to meet fishing boat structural standards. In addition, it was analyzed that the stability was weakened due to the characteristics of the hull shape of No. 66 poongsung. To estimate the stability at the time of the accident, the stability at the time of the working in the fishing ground condition, amount of seawater inflow according to the change in sea conditions, hull oscillation situation, and change in stability due to the hull factor were calculated. As a result, the minimum GoM was satisfied at the time of working in the fishing ground, but it could not be restored at the maximum wave height of 4 m, and the minimum GoM was not satisfied at the maximum wave height of 4 m owing to the influence of seawater inflow and oscillation due to the hull list. However, the minimum GoM was satisfied if additional decks and windbreakers installation was excluded among the factors affecting the stability of No. 66 poongsung.

The Effect of Growth and Survival Rate on Feeding Rate of 3-year-old Abalone, Haliotis discus hannai rearing in Net Cage Culture (3년산 북방전복, Haliotis discus hannai의 해상가두리 내 먹이공급비율에 따른 성장 및 생존율)

  • The effect of different feeding rate on the growth and survival rate of 3-year-old abalone, Haliotis dicsus hannai were investigated in marine net cage culture. Feeding rate is determined that was fed 5, 10, 15 and 20 percentage to abalone at body weight once daily : 5 daily feeding rate (DFR), 10 DFR, 15 DFR and 20 DFR. After that, it was conducted to reared during thirteen month with two replicates in net cage culture. In the growth performance of reared abalone (initial mean shell length $73.77{\pm}11.27mm$) in net cage culture, that the absolute growth rate (ARG), daily growth rate (DGR) and specific growth rate (SGR) to the shell length and shell breadth, as well as weight gain (WG), daily weight gain (DWG) and specific weight gain (SWG) to body weight of 5 DFR were higher than those of different groups (P < 0.05). Also, survival rate of all feeding rate groups was not significant, but it was showed bellow 30 percents. Therefore, these results is showed that the daily feeding rate for natural feed of 3-year-old abalones reared in net cage culture should be to supply among five to ten percents.

Expressive Characteristics of Subversive Appropriation in Kim kwang soo's Architectural Design (김광수 건축디자인의 전복적 전유 표현특성)

  • This study is based on the way Kim Kwang Soo works, which reveals a strong expressive tone that is rare in Korean architecture. His work is not decorative and symbolic representation of the intention of positive amusement. Therefore, the following noteworthy points will arise. The various phenomena associated with architecture and society are researched and analyzed in a critical manner. So, it creates and expresses its own formal logic. In this study, the theory of the subversive appropriation theory was identified by using the expressive characteristics of engagement. The study was based on a conceptual framework for the overturning of the mimesis, which Benjamin and Adorno have described. From this, this study summarizes Kim Kwang Soo's nihilistic attitude, finding boundaries and crack points, and subversive expression as a new form of architectural formal logic as main characteristics of interpretation of works. The characteristics of subversive expression of Kim Kwang Soo architecture derived from this are as follows. It does not take an ideological approach to the dismantling of the internalization of traditional Korean architecture. Popular culture and social phenomena are used as materials for expression. These are structured sensibly with appropriated formal logic. Finally, the architectural position adhered to the limit of performativity was recognized as the dimension of new meaning generation.

Minimization of Tilting Moment of Co-Rotating Scroll Compressor by Design of Back Pressure Chamber (배압실의 설계를 통한 상호회전 스크롤 압축기의 전복 모멘트 최소화)

  • In a co-rotating scroll compressor, both scrolls rotate on their fixed axes contrary to the conventional orbiting type scroll machine. This implies fixed locations and directions of the gas pressure force and sealing force. Because the tilting moment is mainly caused by interplay between the resultant force of above forces and bearing reaction force, the variation during one cycle is relatively small. Under real operation, this moment is balanced by the restoring moment created by the reaction between the baseplate and thrust bearing or between the scroll tip and baseplate. If these reactions become too large, greater torque is required due to increased friction in addition to the wear of mating parts. Consequently, appropriate study and minimization of tilting moment is important in the design of scroll machines. In this study, taking into account of the small variation of tilting moment during one cycle, we minimize the moment and thrust bearing reaction force by a properly designed back pressure chamber. As a result, for both the driving and driven scrolls, the tilting moment and the reaction force of thrust bearing can be minimized. And the stability is improved for all cases.

  • This study presents an approach for designing a vehicle rollover prevention controller using differential game theory and multi-level programming. The rollover prevention problem can be modeled as a non-cooperative zero-sum two-player differential game. A controller as an equilibrium solution of the differential game guarantees the worst-case performance against every possible steering input. To obtain an equilibrium solution to the differential game with a small amount of computational effort, a multi-level programming approach with a relaxation procedure is used. To cope with the loss of maneuverability caused by the active suspension, an electronic stability program (ESP) is adopted. Through simulations, the proposed method is shown to be effective in obtaining an equilibrium solution of the differential game.

  • Abalone, a marine organism inhabiting the west coast of Korea, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and is a resource with potential to be used in various industries such as antibiotic development and cosmetic raw materials. In this study, we chose abalone among various marine lives on the west coast. Antibacterial peptide (AMP) was separated from abalone and its derivative Ab4-7 was identified and its physiological activity was studied. The treatment of Ab4-7 in inflammatory RAW 264.7 to check the anti-inflammatory efficacy nhibited inflammatory cytokines, TLR4, TNF-α, IL-1β, COX-2, and iNOS and increased mRNA manifestation of HO-1, genes related to antioxidants. Based on the strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of Ab4-7, the effects of Ab4-7 in the inflammatory RAW 264.7 cells were identified through RT-PCR, which regulates the gene Matrix Metalloproteinase (MMPs) that induces a variety of inflammatory skin diseases by engaging in the decomposition of the extrocellular matrix metalloproteinase (ECM). Taken together, it is concluded that Ab4-7 has a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect and can be used as a functional material for various inflammatory skin disease treatments by controlling the genes associated with matrix metalloproteinase (MMPs).

부착성 규조류의 종류에 따른 참전복, Haliotis discus hannai Ino 유생의 부착율과 치패의 성장 및 생존율

  • 최근 고부가가치의 산업으로 자리매김한 참전복, Haliotis discus hannai Ino 인공종묘생산시 생산성 향상을 위해, 참전복 사육수조의 파판에 부착 생육하는 Cocconeis sp., Nitzschia sp., Navicula sp., Bacillaria sp., Licmophora sp. 5종을 순수분리한 후 대량배양하여 각 종별 규조류와 자연발생된 혼합규조류에 대한 전복유생의 부착율, 초기치패의 성장 및 생존등을 비교분석 하였다. 5종의 부착규조류의 20$\ell$ 배양은 약 2주간 실시되었는데 초기접종농도는 각각 20만세포/$m\ell$ 였으며 가장 빠른 성장을 보인 종은 Cocconeis sp.와 Navicula sp.로 접종 12일후에 각각 128만세포/$m\ell$와 110만세포/$m\ell$로 높게 나타났다. 그리고 Licmophora sp.는 69 만세포/$m\ell$로 가장 저조한 성장을 보였다. 유생의 부착율은 Cocconeis sp. 배양 시험구에서 43.1%로 가장 높았으며, Licmophora sp.는 16.3%로 대조구에 비해 현저히 낮은 값을 나타냈다(P<0.05). 치패의 일간성장율은 Navicula sp.에서 64.1 $\mu$m로 가장 높았으며, Licmophora sp.는 22.4 $\mu$m로 대조구에 비해 월등히 뒤지는 것으로 나타났다. 치패의 생존율은 Navicula sp.에서 62.0%로 가장 높은 값을 나타내었으며 (P<0.05), Cocconeis sp. 와 Nitzschia sp.는 각각 60.5%, 59.2%로 대조구의 48.8% 보다 높은 생존율을 보였다 (P<0.05). 본 시험의 결과는 먹이효율이 뛰어난 특정 부착성 규조를 전복 종묘생산에 이용하므로써 전복 유생의 부착율, 치패의 생존 및 생장율 향상을 가져올 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.

Parametric Study of the Effects of Train Wind on Turnover Safety (차량 전복 안전성에 끼치는 열차 풍압의 파라메타 연구)

  • When constructing a high-speed railroad, the reduction of the distance between track centers and the width of track bed will save the construction cost. However the shortening the distance between track centers may cause the stability problems due to higher wind pressure. Therefore the extensive technical review and aerodynamical study should be performed to determine the adequate distance between track centers. In this study, the impact that the increase in wind pressure due to the change of aerodynamic phenomena with the change of the distance between track centers may have on two trains passing by each other was predicted, and the stability of train operation was analyzed in order to review the distance between track centers suitable to Honam HSR trains. We conducted the parametric study of the effects of train wind on the running stability.

  • '환상'이란 현실에 대한 전복적인 기능을 하는 비현실적인 것이다. 서양에서는 이것을 'Fantasy'라고 하고, 고전소설에서는 '신이(神異), 기이(奇異), 괴이(怪異)'와 같은 한자어가 주로 사용되었다. <박씨전>은 인물, 사건, 배경에서 환상성이 드러난다. 이 논문에서는 <박씨전>의 환상성을 활용하여 문화콘텐츠의 원형적 소재로 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 검토해보았다.
