Robust Double Deadbeat Control of Single-Phase UPS Inverter (단상 UPS 인버터의 강인한 2중 데드비트제어)

  • This paper deals with a novel full digital control of the single-phase PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) inviter for UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supp1y). The voltage and current of output filter capacitor as a state variable are the feedback control input. In the proposed scheme a double deadbeat control consisting of minor current control loop and major voltage control loop have been developed In addition, a second order deadbeat currents control which should be exactly equal to its reference in two sampling time without error and overshoot is proposed to remove the influence of the calculation time delay. The load current prediction is achieved to compensate the load disturbance. The simulation and experimental result shows that the proposed system offers an output voltage with THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) less than 5% at a full nonlinear load.

  • 본 논문에서는 연료전지용 듀얼 부스트 컨버터의 전압제어루프의 피드백 루프에 디지털 필터를 도입하여 부하에 의해 발생하는 출력전압의 저고조파 리플성분을 제거한 측정값을 사용함으로써 입력전류의 저고조파 리플을 제거하고, 전류제어루프에 predictive deadbeat 제어기법을 적용하여 제어주기와 제어알고리듬 계산에 의한 시간적 지연에 의해 발생되는 동적응답특성의 저하를 최소화한다. 센서를 사용하는 대신 연료전지 스택에 공급되는 수소와 공기의 압력과 스택의 출력전류에 결정되는 연료전지의 전압-전류 특성곡선을 이용하여 부스터 컨버터의 입력전압을 계산하고 전류를 제어함으로써 연료전지 시스템의 성능을 최적화한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 평균전류모드제어를 이용하는 컨버터의 연속시간 소신호 모델을 구한다. 평균전류모드제어에 일반적으로 사용되는 보상기를 적용한 컨버터의 해석을 위해 샘플러를 전류루프에 포함시켜 해석한다. 기존 모델에서는 정확히 해석하기 어려웠던 전류루프 이득의 고주파 영역 해석이 제안한 모델을 이용함으로써 쉽게 해결할 수 있으며, 시스템의 안정성을 결정하는 고주파 영역에서의 주파수 응답 특성을 제안한 모델이 우수한 성능으로 예측 가능함을 보인다.

  • In this paper, a new continuous~time small signal model of an average current mode control is proposed. Sampling effect Is considered to obtain the proposed small signal model. By the proposed model, the high frequency response characteristics of current loop gain might be predicted accurately compared to previous models. And this leads the prediction of inductor current response of the proposed model to be accurate compared to others. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed model, prediction results of the proposed model are compared to those of the circuit level simulator, PSIM and experiment.

  • 본 논문은 3상 4선식 인버터를 이용하여 임의의 전압 파형을 발생하기 위한 우수한 성능의 폐루프 전압 제어기를 제안하고 제어 이득 설정 방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 임의 파형 발생기에 사용된 3상 4선식 인버터 및 LC 필터 회로 구조를 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 한 전압 제어기 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 전압 제어기는 폐루프 형태의 PI 전압 제어기를 사용하고, 과도 특성 개선 및 부하 전류로 인한 전압 왜곡 방지를 위해 인버터 전류 및 부하 전류 정보를 전향 보상에 사용한다. 실험을 통해 전압 지령에 대한 응답 특성이 향상되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • There arc two ways in the output voltage control method in PWM inverters. One Is double loop voltage control composed of inner current control loop and outer voltage control loop.'rho other is single loop voltage control method composed of voltage control loop only. It's characteristics shows lower performance in case of high output impedance than double loop voltage control. However, in case of low output impedance, it shows good control performance in all load ranges than double loop voltage control. In this paper, the rule and the gain of single loop voltage control have been developed analytically and these were verified through computer simulation and experiment.

  • In this paper, a linear motor stroke controller using a phase lag filter and a single phase PWM inverter with a current controller has been implemented. In order to control the cooling capability of a refrigerator or an air conditioner in which linear compressors are applied, the piston speed should be controlled. The piston speed control can be obtained by adjusting the frequency or the stroke of linear motors. Generally, the frequency is fixed, for example, as 60Hz and the stroke is adjusted. The dynamic performance of linear compressors depends on how accurately the stroke or the piston position is controlled by the current applied. A linear motor piston position controller with a current control loop is proposed and verified via some simulation studies.

  • 본 논문은 평균 전류 분담 기법을 적용한 UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) 시스템의 병렬 운전 기법을 제안한다. 각각의 UPS는 전류 정보를 공유하기 위하여 CAN 통신을 사용하며, 이중 루프 방식의 전압, 전류제어기로 구성되어 있다. UPS의 전류 분담 성능을 내부 전류 제어기의 피드백 전류인 인덕터 전류, 커패시터 전류 그리고 통신 시지연에 따라 영향을 분석하고 3상 30kVA급 UPS에 적용하여 그 유효성을 검증하였다.

Input Current Ripple Improvement on Interleaved Boost Power Factor Corrector Operating in Discontinuous Current Mode (불연속 전류모드로 동작하는 Interleaved 승압형 역률보상 컨버터의 입력전류 리플개선)

  • In this paper, interleaved boost converter is applied as a pre-regulator in switched mode power supply. The pre-regulator plays a role to improve power factor. Interleaved Boost Power Factor Corrector(IBPFC) can reduce input current ripple as a single voltage control loop only without inner current loop, because input current is divided each 50% by two switching devices. Each converter cell is also operated in discontinuous current mode and inductor current of each converter is discontinuous. Total input current which is composed by each converter cell is continuous current. Thus, IBPFC is able to improve input current ripple. IBPFC operating in discontinuous current mode can be classified as six modes from switching state and be carried out state space averaging small signal modeling. A control transfer function is obtained according to the modeling. Single voltage control loop is also constructed by the control transfer function. From experimental result, improvement of power factor and input current ripple are verified.

  • This paper presents a novel PID speed controller for industry servo applications. Considering the speed loop delay, it allows an automatic controller bandwidth/gain setup with the bandwidth of current controller. In addition, the proposed design nile gives uniformly satisfactory performance and the motor speed stays on a desired response curve with minimal oscillation and settling time. This approach can be applied in conjunction with the cascaded position controller which is widely used in practice.
