Analysis of Transmit Signal Power Distribution in Single Frequency Network based on Distributed Transmission for 3D-HDTV Terrestrial Transmission (3D-HDTV 지상파 전송을 위한 분산송신 기반 단일 주파수 방송망 내 송신신호 전력분포 분석)

  • 본 논문은 3D-HDTV 지상파 방송을 위한 분산송신 기반 단일 주파수 방송망 내 송신안테나 위치에 따른 송신신호 전력분포를 분석하였다. 분산송신 기반 단일 주파수 방송망 구조는 하나의 주 송신안테나와 3개의 부 송신 안테나로 구성되어 있어 수신기가 방송망 내 어느 위치에 있더라도 최소 2개 이상의 송신신호를 수신할 수 있다. 이러한 방송망 구조는 송신 안테나들이 지역적으로 배치되어 있기 때문에 공간 다이버시티를 획득 할 수 있다. 그러나 거리에 따른 송신신호 전력 감쇠 때문에 방송망 내 수신기 위치에 따라 수신 SNR이 변화하게 된다. 시스템 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 단일 주파수 방송망 내 송신전력 분포 분석을 통하여 안정적인 데이터 수신율을 보장하기 위해 적용 가능한 데이터 송신기법에 대해 고찰하였다.

Reception Power Estimation using TxID Signal (TxID 신호를 이용한 수신전력 추정)

  • In a single frequency network (SFN) for Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) terrestrial digital television (DTV) system, the interference due to the use of same frequency among multiple transmitters or repeaters is inevitable for receivers. This problem can be solved by adjusting transmit power and time of each transmitter and repeater. To adjust SFNs, the ATSC recommended practice (RP) introduces a transmitter identification (TxID) signal which is embedded in a signal from each transmitter or repeater. This paper proposes an efficient method to estimate the individual reception power from each transmitter or repeater based on the channel profile of SFN and the total reception power. Moreover, field test results are provided to evaluate the performance of the proposed method.

  • 전력계통망 및 수용가는 다양한 형태의 전력케이블 및 전력선이 연계된 분 배전망을 형성하고 있다. 특히, 이렇게 구성된 분 배전망은 하나의 전력계통으로서 연계된 전력망을 형성하고 있으며, 이를 전력선통신의 인프라로 활용할 수 있다. 최근 들어, 전력선통신 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 계통에 연계된 부하와 분기선로 그리고 매질의 특성에 따라 통신환경이 달라진다. 특히 전송 주파수에 따른 신호의 감쇠, 연계된 부하의 종류와 이들 부하로 인한 잡음원의 유입 및 전송신호의 왜곡 등이 주요한 채널환경 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 상기 나열한 한계점을 극복하기 위한 대안으로 전력선 및 케이블의 매질특성을 평가하고, 이에 따른 전송신호의 영향을 분석, 연계된 다양한 부하들의 변동에 따른 통신환경의 변화 영향 그리고 통신성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 또한 전력 케이블 및 선로의 특성과 부하변동 특성을 반영하여 구내용 전력케이블 기반의 UWB(Ultra Wide Band) 통신용 채널 환경을 모델링하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

  • Recently, the use of digital audio and video as proof in criminal and all kinds of litigation is increasing, and scientific investigation using digital forensic technique is developing. With the development of computing and file editing technologies, anyone can simply manipulate video files, and the number of cases of manipulating digital data is increasing. As a result, the integrity of the evidence and the reliability of the evidence Is required. In this paper, we propose a technique for extracting the Electrical Network Frequency (ENF) through a grid of power grids according to the geographical environment for power supply, and then performing signal processing for peak detection using QIFFT. Through the detection algorithm using the standard deviation, it was confirmed that the video file was falsified with 73% accuracy and the forgery point was found.

  • 네트워크 전력계측 장치는 전국의 수용가 측에 설치되며 전력품질을 감시할 수 있는 단말기와 표준화된 이더넷망(유무선)을 사용한 네트워크 환경과 전국의 전력품질 데이터를 수집할 수 있는 서버로 크게 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 128 샘플링으로 계측되는 전력품질계측 단말기를 구현하고 전력품질 분석 알고리즘을 고안하였으며 이더넷망을 이용하여 전력품질 데이터를 수집하고 수집데이터를 분석하여 전력 품질에 대한 분석을 하였다. 뿐만아니라 전력품질에 영향을 주는 고조파신호들과 OVER/UNDER 전압과 전류 및 주파수, SAG, SWELL, INTERRUPT등을 인식하여 해당 데이터를 메모리에 저장하는 일련의 알고리즘을 연구하였으며 이렇게 저장된 정보를 이더넷망에서 무결성과 신뢰성이 있게 고속으로 전송받을 수 있는 통신 프로토콜에 관한 연구가 수행하였다. 뿐만 아니라 응용프로그램에서 소프트에웨어적인 필터링 기법과 분석알고리즘을 연구하여 이상신호에 대한 원인 판단이 가능하도록 연구한다. 본 논문은 네트워크(인터넷/이더넷)와 전력품질계측 관련 방법론과 SERVER개념을 도입한 유비쿼터스에서 센서네트워크 기법을 전력산업에 융합하려는 연구에 그 요점이 있다.

  • This paper is about power line communication(PLC) over the low power voltage grid. The main advantage with power line communication is the use of an existing infrastructure. The PLC channel can be modeled as having multi-path propagation with frequency-selective fading, typical power lines exhibit signal attenuation increasing with length and frequency. OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is a modulation technique where multiple low data rate carriers are combined by a transmitter to form a composite high data rate transmission. The performance in consideration of the multi-path(echoes) powerline scheme is analyzed and verified by computer simulation.

  • Due to the fluctuating random and periodical nature of renewable energy generation power quality disturbances occurred more frequently in power generation transformation transmission and distribution. Various power quality disturbances may lead to equipment damage or even power outages. Therefore it is essential to detect and classify different power quality disturbances in real time automatically. The traditional PQD identification method consists of three steps: feature extraction feature selection and classification. However, the handcrafted features are imprecise in the feature selection stage, resulting in low classification accuracy. This paper proposes a deep neural architecture based on Convolution Neural Network and Long Short Term Memory combining the time and frequency domain features to recognize 16 types of Power Quality signals. The frequency-domain data were obtained from the Fast Fourier Transform which could efficiently extract the frequency-domain features. The performance in synthetic data and real 6kV power system data indicate that our proposed method generalizes well compared with other deep learning methods.

  • This paper is concerned with the implementation of power line communication system with 9.6Kbps. This system is suitable to establish the smart home using the power line having been installed in house. In the suggested power line communication system, we use the chirp signal with a linearity and spread spectrum frequency band of 100KHz~200KHz. We had the performance experiment for the implementation system. The experiment was achieved in the pseudo load network similar to real circumstance of power line communication. As the result, the communications under the circumstance were accomplished satisfactorily. We confirmed that the suggested 9.6Kbps power line communication system with the Chirped-SS method had the performance enough to commercialize the smart home.

  • In this paper, we propose a power control technique for D2D communication in the heterogenous network consisting of cellular and D2D communication systems. Although the transmit signal of D2D communication degrades the performance of cellular system by interfering the signal reception at CU in the conventional heterogenous networks without eavesdroppers, it can be utilized as jamming signal for preventing other devices from recovering the transmitted information if there are eavesdroppers in the network. The proposed power control technique maximizes the achievable rate of D2D communication while ensuring the target security performance of cellular communication system. Through simulation results, we validate the analysis results and compare the performance with the conventional D2D communication scheme that utilizes its full transmit power for maximizing the achievable rate regardless of the performance of cellular system.

Design of Neural Network Based IEF Filter for Time-varying Control of Incremental Factor (증가인자 시변제어를 위한 신경망 증가평가필터 설계)

  • Powerline interference in bioelectric recordings is a common source of noise. IEF(Incremental Estimation Filter) has been used to eliminate powerline interferences in biosignals, especially in ECG(Electrocadiogram) signals. The constant incremental factor in the IEF filter, which affects the performance of noise rejection, is usually determined empirically or experimentally based on the input signals. This paper presents the design of neural network based IEF filter for time-varying control of the incremental factor. The proposed IEF filter is evaluated by applying to artificial signals as well as ECG signals of MIT-BIH database. For the relative comparison of noise-rejection performance, it is compared with adaptive noise canceler and conventional IEF filter. Simulation results show that the neural network based IEF filter outperforms these adaptive filters with respect to convergence speed and noise rejection is specific frequencies.
