Process-based knowledge management is `have knowledge operation system based in the task process and provide the accumulated knowledge of an organization for its members performing their task through a system in an appropriate format.' If it is embodied in the organization it is expected to significantly enhance the task process and knowledge. Meanwhile, Maier and Remus realized that if the organization`s strategy is added to the existing objective of knowledge management promotion strategy, it is in accord with major objectives of the process management such as BPR or BPM. Based on this, Maier and Remus devised a framework for promotion strategy of process-based knowledge management. As a result of analyzing their framework by applying it to examples of knowledge management promotion of the Ministry of Labor, it was found that process-based knowledge management should be applied in order to solve the problems and reflect improvement suggestions which had been constantly pointed out. Furthermore, the direction to be applied in connection with the improvement suggestions was presented in this study.

This study investigates the relative effect of symmetric and asymmetric relationship between franchiser and franchisee on the relational outcome of franchise alliance in education industry. To verify the research model, 240 samples, which is related with eduction service, were collected, among which 200 were used for the analysis. The outcome suggests that the asymmetric relationship in an alliance negatively influenced the relational quality, among which asymmetric alliance-specific investments had the most significant effect. On the other hand, the relational quality was positively influenced when the alliance relationship was symmetric, especially when the interactional fairness was high. Furthermore, compared to foreign franchise, local franchise presented higher level of role and responsibility imbalance, along with higher likihood of franchisees' opportunistic behaviors.

The purpose of this research is to optimize the line planning of the intercity passenger railway. In this study, the line planning problem has been formulated into a mixed integer programming by minimizing both user costs (passenger's total travel time) and operator costs (operation, maintenance and vehicle costs) with multiple train types. As a solution algorithm, the branch-and-bound method is used to solve this problem. The change of travel demand, train speed and the number of schedules have been tested through sensitivity analysis. The optimal stop-schedules and frequency as well as system split with respect to each train type have been found in the case study of Kyoung-bu railway line in Korea. The model and results of this research are useful to make a decision for railway operation strategy, to analyze the efficiency of new railway systems and to evaluate the social costs of users and operators.

The Result of this study (1)In the case of KDI school of public policy and management, since it makes up a very interesting and diversified racial environment that shapes the multinational global community, there must be careful considerations for foreign students together with wide publicity about Korea on the side of the school headquarters. (2)The library must become familiar with the ways to utilize outside organizations in order to provide user education to the foreign students. (3)In order to make it perfectly sure for them to provide not only the secondary materials such as bibliography, index, and abstract, but also the necessary full-text from the preparatory stage of the students' studies. (4)The library must grasp the students' needs through communication and must promote the efficiency of library operation by introducing an information service strategy measure similar to that of FISP so they can acknowledge and provide necessary information to fulfill the students' academic needs in advance.

Recently, the deepening of the environment and accompanying concerns produce various environmental regulations. For example, EPR(Extended Producer Responsibility) is emphasized in many countries such as USA and Europe. According to this, the construction of a reverse supply chain is under compulsion. A diversity of parts can be controlled by a government or enterprises in the construction and management of a reverse supply chain and the effect to the environment is changed according to the policy. Therefore, it is essential to understand the effects of regulations or policies of a government and enterprises on a supply chain. The object of this research is to develop a means to assess the management efficiency and the environmental effect over a whole supply chain and show the effects of various reverse supply chain construction policies on a supply chain. This model can be utilized to establish appropriate policies by understanding the change in the management efficiency and the environmental effect according to the reverse supply chain construction and management method.

다가오는 21세기를 대비하여 많은 나라들이 정보와 지식을 확보함으로써 국제적 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 노력하고 있다. 특히 지식의 공급원천인 기초과학에 대해서는 그 본질을 훼손하지 않으면서 기초과학을 국가경쟁력 강화에 어떻게 연계시키느냐에 초점을 맞추어 정책을 수립하고 있다. 21세기를 앞둔 지금 우리의 바람직한 기초과학정책의 방향은 우리의 현실을 바탕으로 한 실용적이면서, 기초과학이 지니는 특성을 충분히 감안한 것이어야 한다. 따라서 21세기 우리의 기초과학정책이 추구해야 할 목표를 다음과 같이 3가지로 설정하고자 한다. 첫째 지식의 증진, 둘째 과학기술인력의 양성, 셋째 경제성장과 삶의 질 향상에 기여이다. 이 세 가지 목표는 상호 독립적으로 존재할 수 없으며 상호 밀접하게 연계되어야 한다. 이 세 가지 목표를 달성하기 위한 추진전략은 다음과 같다. (ⅰ) 기초과학에 대한 지속적인 정부지원의 강화 : 기초과학에 대한 지원은 정부가 중추적인 역할을 담당해야 하며, 창의적 연구와 학제간 연구에 대한 지원을 강화하여야 한다. (ⅱ) 연구와 교육의 연계를 통한 과학기술인력의 양성에 기여 : 창의적이고 수준 높은 연구를 통해 훌륭한 과학기술인력이 양성되어야 한다. 지식기반경제 하에서 훌륭한 과학기술인력은 미래의 우리 나라의 성공을 좌우하는 요소가 될 것이다. (ⅲ) 국제적 연계의 강화 : 우리 나라의 SCI 점유율은 1%에 불과하다. 국제적 과학기술연계를 통하여 세계의 과학기술지식에 접근하고 협력의 이익을 얻을 수 있어야 한다. (ⅳ) 프로그램 위주의 지원방식과 분야별 지원방식의 병행 추진 : 기초과학에 사용될 수 있는 자원은 한정되어 있으므로 해당 분야의 특성과 경제 사회적 요구를 감안하여 분야별 우선 지원을 병행하여야 한다. 분야별 우선 지원을 위해서는 분야별 전망보고서가 작성되어야 한다. 그러나 분야별 우선 지원 분야의 도출 및 이의지원은 창의적 연구에 대한 보완적 개념으로 이루어져야 한다. 선진국의 경우에도 우선 지원분야에 대한 연구비 배분은 5-10%사이이다. (ⅴ) 성과관리를 통한 지원효과의 극대화 : 기초과학의 지원에 있어서 그 성과를 특정한다는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니지만 연구비 지원효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 프로그램 평가를 통해 성과관리를 하여야 한다. (ⅵ) 효율적인 혁신시스템의 구축 : 혁신시스템의 효율적인 운영이 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해서는 첫째, 연구부문과 산업부문을 연결시킬 수 있고, 새로운 분야를 담아낼 수 있는 유연한 분야분류체계를 정립하여야 하고, 둘째 연구결과의 효율적인 활용이 이루어져야 하며, 셋째 연구지원기관간 연계시스템의 구축을 구축하여야 한다.

This study propose a model for railway safety evaluation with which the safety of whole railway system can be evaluated. The evaluation model is to generate a safety index which quantitatively represent the degree of railway safety. Safety index is proposed a function of three indexes; an accident index, safety management index, and safety culture index. This paper describes the first result from the study on the safety target which will be a key starting point toward the development of safety evaluation model. It is recommended that the safety target be composed of several sub-targets that are apportioned to constituent components. It is coneluded that the classification of safety target influence on deciding components or attributes that constitute each sub-indexes; an accident index, safety management index, and safety culture index.

This study is intended to look into the structural relationship between SCM activity, process innovation and quality performance in small and medium sized enterprisers(SMEs). To achieve this, a survey was empirically carried out to 354 SCM operating officers and managers who perform the SCM activities in small and medium sized manufacturing firms. The results are summarized as follows. Overall, the SCM activity and process innovation had a significant effect on the quality performance, having a structural relationship with the quality performance in SEMs. This implies that the strategic alliance of the SCM activities and competence concentration based on technology development in SEMs can organize the unity through organizational members' information sharing. In other words, when the information integration supports the compatibility and reliability of shared information system by raising technological competence through this, the process innovation can lead to non-financial cost reduction, product quality, delivery compliance and inventory cost reduction as quality performance of the structured process, management and distribution.

Recently the more convenient services are provided to people in the city in line with the change of city paradigm and the recent development of ubiquitous. For example, Information on bus arrivals an effective advertisement the combination of high technology and departures through smart-phones. However, in respect of the mobile advertisement, because of difficulties such as the means of transferring the mass storage data or the burden of communication charges. there need means to improve such difficulties. This study has been conducted aiming to overcome such difficulties. This study suggests the strategic differentiation plan through the analysis of the media characteristics such as real time service information when in traveling, U-Bus business model in the category of mobile advertisement, etc. and also the concrete system establishment plan from the operation center via network to the delivery of the advertisement through vehicle terminals. In respect that this study suggests the implications as a practical business model through the fusion of high technology and diverse media. It has great significance.

This research, through an empirical analysis of the management of food materials in the super deluxe and deluxe hotels in Seoul, verified the difference, and established strategies according to the difference. According to the study, to enhance the level of the food material management, the introduction of scientific methods and system of the deluxe hotels has to be preceded, the training of special inspectors and the utilization of inspection methods needs improvement, and the purchasing contracts and effective purchasing methods have to be renewed. As for the storing management, the difference between hotel grades was low. The implication of this study as follows. First, to enhance the efficiency of man power operation, we have to introduce computer systems. Second, training based on the food materials purchasing manual has to be achieved. Third, we have to increase inspectors' specialty through the arrangement of man power rotation.
