Development of Optimized Driving Model for decreasing Fuel Consumption in the Longitudinal Highway Section (고속도로 종단지형을 고려한 연료 효율적 최적주행전략 모형 개발)

  • The Korea ministry of land, infrastructure and transport set the goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector by 34.3% relative to the business as usual scenario by 2020. In order to achieve this goal, support is being given to education and information regarding eco-driving. As a practical measure, however, a vehicle control strategy for decreasing fuel consumptions and emissions is necessary. Therefore, this paper presents an optimized driving model in order to decrease fuel consumption. Scenarios were established by driving mode. The speed profile for each scenario applied to Comprehensive Modal Emission Model and then each fuel consumption was estimated. Scenarios and speed variation with the least fuel consumption were derived by comparing the fuel consumptions of scenarios. The optimized driving model was developed by the derived the results. The speed profiles of general driver were collected by field test. The speed profile of the developed model and the speed profile of general driver were compared and then fuel consumptions for each speed profile were analyzed. The fuel consumptions for optimized driving were decreased by an average of 11.8%.

  • The system analysis for Korean nuclear power reactor option is made on the basis of reliability, cost minimization, finite uranium resource availability and nuclear engineering manpower supply constraints. The reference reactor scenarios are developed considering the future electricity demand, nuclear share, current nuclear power plant standardization program and manufacturing capacity. The levelized power generation cost, uranium requirement and nuclear engineering professionals demand are estimated for each reference reactor scenarios and nuclear fuel cycle options from the year 1990 up to the year 2030. Based on the outcomes of the analysis, uranium resource utilization, reliability and nuclear engineering manpower requirements are sensitive to the nuclear reactor strategy and associated fuel cycle whereas the system cost is not. APWR, CANDU longrightarrow FBR strategy is to be the best option for Korea. However, APWR, CANDU longrightarrow Passive Safe Reactor(PSR)longrightarrowFBR strategy should be also considered as a contingency for growing national concerns on nuclear safety and public acceptance deterioration in the future. FBR development and establishment of related fuel cycle should be started as soon as possible considering the uranium shortage anticipated between 2007 and 2032. It should be noted that the increasing use of nuclear energy to minimize the greenhouse effects in the early 21st century would accelerate the uranium resource depletion. The study also concludes that the current level of nuclear engineering professionals employment is not sufficient until 2010 for the establishment of nuclear infrastructure.

  • 기후변화는 사회 경제 환경부분에 영향을 미치며 수자원 부문에서는 안정적인 물 공급에 위기가 발생할 것으로 전망되고 있다. 인간이 이용하는 수자원은 강우에 의해 가장 민감하게 반응하므로 지속적이고 안정적인 수자원을 이용하기 위해서는 통합적이고 탄력적인 대응방안이 요구되고 있다. 특히 우리나라와 같은 여름에 집중적 강우가 나타나는 지역에서의 용수수급에 대한 중요성은 더욱더 커질 것이다. 또한 앞으로 1인당 물 수요량의 증가할 것으로 예상됨에 따라 용수수급 관리를 위한 적응전략 수립은 반드시 필요할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 수문모형인 SWAT을 이용하여 자연유량을 산출하기 위해 SWAT-CUP을 이용한 검보정을 수행하여 모형의 적용성을 검토하였다. 기후변화 시나리오인 RCP시나리오를 이용하여 기간별 자연유량을 산정하였다. 유역의 생활용수, 공업용수, 농업용수 및 하천유지유량 데이터를 수집하여 물 분배 모형인 K-MODSIM 모형에 적용하였다. 2011년부터 2100년까지 월별로 유역의 물 수급의 과부족을 산정하였다. 용수의 부족이 나타난 지역에 대한 수요관리와 공급관리 방안을 수립하였고 대안을 적용한 후 용수 공급에 미치는 영향을 다시 분석하였다. 수문모의 결과 RCP 시나리오별로 자연유량을 산정한 결과 시간의 흐름에 따라 물 공급량이 감소할 것으로 분석되었고 계절별로 차이는 더 크게 나타났다. 특히 갈수기인 봄과 겨울철의 유량감소가 나타났다. 모의된 월별 자연유량을 K-MODSIM에 입력하여 월별 모의를 수행한 결과 각 용수별로 부족현상이 나타났다. 생활용수의 부족이 나타난 경우 수요관리를 통해 물 수요량을 줄이는 적응전략을 수립하였고 부족량이 크게 나타나는 농업용수와 하천유지유량의 경우 공급량을 늘리는 공급관리를 통한 적응전략을 수립하여 효과분석을 수행하였다. 단계별로 용수공급에 대한 효과가 나타났다. 하지만 본 연구에서는 경제성 분석을 제외한 용수공급에 중점을 둔 적응전략을 수립하였으므로 이를 포함한 분석이 포함된다면 실제 용수공급 대안 선정을 위한 의사결정에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • In this study, a bridge maintenance system is developed to generate performance-based optimum maintenance strategy by considering the life-cycle cost. A multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem is formulated to generate a tradeoff maintenance scenarios which satisfies the balance among the conflicting objectives such as the performance and cost during the bridge lifetime and a genetic algorithm is applied to the system. By using the developed program, this study proposes a process of optimum maintenance scenario applying to the steel girder bridge of national road. The developed system improves the current methods of establishing the bridge maintenance strategy and can be utilized as an efficient tool to provide the optimum bridge maintenance scenario corresponding to the various constraints and requirements of bridge agency.

  • 스마트워터그리드는 기후변화 등 한정된 수자원을 효율적으로 활용하기 위해 정보통신기술을 이용하여 효율적인 물 관리 인프라 시스템 구축하는 연구로써 수자원관리에 필요한 여러 가지 프로그램들이 개발되어지고 있다. 수자원 관리와 정보통신기술의 패러다임 변화에 따라 양방향 통신의 다차원적인 접근 전략과 더불어 수자원의 효율적인 관리를 위해 스마트워터그리드의 여러 프로그램을 통합적으로 운영 관리하는 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 시나리오 기반으로 스마트워터그리드 프로그램의 입 출력 데이터를 연계 운영하고, 동일한 개발환경인 플랫폼기반으로 구축하여 프로그램의 통합 운영이 가능하도록 하였다. 통합적인 운영을 위한 시나리오는 다중수원의 실시간 계측과 수용가의 상수도 사용량을 실시간 계측하여 DB서버에 저장되고, 이 자료를 물부족 위험평가 프로그램의 입력자료로 활용하여 다중수원의 부존량이 산정된다. 부존량은 다시 가용수량 산정프로그램에 입력 데이터를 사용되고, 출력데이터는 수처리조합공정을 걸쳐 워터루프를 통하여 배분 및 공급하도록 시나리오를 수립하였으며. 이러한 시나리오를 기반으로 스마트워터그리드의 여러 프로그램을 통합 운영하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 수자원 생산, 배분, 공급 등 관리에 필요한 각각의 스마트워터그리드 프로그램이 통합 운영됨으로써, 국내 통합 수자원 관리에 효율적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Today, the computing environments is very complex, so researches that endow a system with the self-healing's ability that recognizes problem arising in a target system are being an important issues. However, the existing methodology, the goal for the new requirements for self-healing system developers to model and analyze the constraints that must be greater efforts. Therefore, in this paper are aware of problems detected by the system to solve the problem is the analysis of goal-based scenarios. In addition, there is a pre and post applying a strategy to be dynamically reconfigured to show you how to self-healing. These proposed new requirements for methodology, self-healing reduces the load on the developer's analysis.

  • U-Services are inevitably essential for the realization of u-Cities. Most local governments in Korea have expressed much interest in introducing u-Cites and related u-Services. Since researchers anticipate that developing u-Cities will produce economic effects, the Korea government has support local governments to develop u-Cities and necessary u-Services. However, the technology issues have been dominiated in the field of U-City services and most of the U-City services do not reflects all the complicated and pluralistic sides of environment, which are caused by future uncertainties in developing u-Cites. For the purpose of addressing the above uncertainties, this paper attempts to develop the possible scenarios for U-City services through a scenario planning approach. A focus group interview and survey with professionals in the field of planning u-Cities was performed to identify these uncertainties. Then, in order to investigate the validity of the scenario planning methodology, the u-Service "u-Water purity monitoring" is adopted. After considering the relevant issues, we developed two possible scenarios: a mutual linkage service among u-Service related organization and a cooperating and coordinating service among local governments. On the basis of these scenarios, the strategies for potential U-City services are formulated. Various participants in developing U -City services are encouraged to use the scenarios as the foundation of predicting future features of u-Cities and developing the framework of the U-City service scenarios effectively.
