Optimal Shape Deign of a High Speed Switched Reluctance Motor Vsing Fuzzy Set Theory (퍼지 이론을 이용한 고속 회전용 스위치드 리럭턴스 모터의 형상 최적 설계)

  • This paper presents a new design method for improving the torque performance of a switched reluctance motor (SRM) for high speed applications. The drawback of the conventional design method based on the overall static average torque maximization is that the torque control performance is degraded at high speed. On the other hand, the proposed method optimizes the torque profile by diving it into several regions so that it is suitable for high speed operation. This multi-objective optimization problem is solved by using a fuzzy optimization algorithm which incorporates a finite element method. The torque performance of the motor for various speed ranges is investigated and the optimally designed motor show a better performance at high speed.

  • Polycrystalline CdS films were prepared by coating a slurry, which consisted of Cds, 11w/o of CdCl$_2$ and various amounts of InCl$_3$on the glass substrate and by sintering in a nitrogen atmosphere. Measurements on the electrical and optical Properties and observation on the microstructure of the sintered films were made. It was observed that the carrier concentration in the films remains almost constant on the addition of InCl$_3$. Optical transmittance remains constant on the addition of InCl$_3$ up to 3w/o but it decreases with further increase in InCl$_3$.

  • Monolayers of lipids on a water surface have attracted much interest as models of biological membranes, but also as precursors of multilayer systems promising many technical applications. Until now, many methodologies have been developed in order to gain a better underst. DMPC molecules have one phosphatidylcholine head group and two long alkyl groups with carbonyl group. Displacement currents generated during the compression of monolayers of DMPC on the surface of water were investigated. As results, the displacement pick was generated when the area per molecule was about 190$\AA$$^2$in low pressure, and it was generated when the area per molecule about 190$\AA$$^2$ in for pressure, and it was generated when the area per molecule about 150 $\AA$$^2$ in high pressure. Also. for the study of photo device measured the absorption rate. the maxim value shown was 2800-2900nm.

  • There have been great advances in communication and networking in recent times. It is necessary to take advantage of this information infrastructure for the purpose of developing an engineering education system. But the networking system was expensive and hard to develop. The current international netwoking is converging to the use of the World Wide Web system. It has become a new standard for global network communication. But there are not a great number of applications which take full advantage of this environment. In this paper, an interactive virtual electrical machine lab system using the World Wide Web will be presented. This can be used as a supplementary kit for engineering experiment of transformer, induction motor, direct current motor, and synchronous motor. The system is developed using JAVA and can be accessed using Web browsers.

  • In a poor economic situation, electrical contracting business face many difficulties by means of a keen competition and a sudden change of a policy issue although it is the basis of a national industry. Therefore, the fact is that we are in need of professional management structure for planing a systemic and continuos development of electrical contracting business operation. Moreover, we consider a necessity of medium which give a general flowchart to a person who get ready to go into the electrical contracting business market. However, these research haven't been achieved yet. We would like to introduce electrical contracting management guide which was published in america by translating into korean and we expect that it laid the foundations of research activities.

A highly probable reason why these electric accidents happen is that workers are used to skip confirming disconnection of electricity when they work. It is mostly because they have little understanding of electricity. To overcome this, various applications such as 'electric detecting stick' are invented to check existence of electricity on working environment. But, they have not been popular due to inconvenience of carrying. So, we made a new instrument. It is a kind of nipper on which electric detecter is installed. Detecting existence of electricity is less burdensome via this tool we made.

  • A meaning of power quality has changed, which affects on an environmental change of existing electricity supply markets. Today, it should take both consumers and suppliers into consideration to develop information and communication technology and to increase the use of power and electronic equipments. As a result, it is necessary to develop a system to monitor power quality and to display data. In this paper, a system, as a power quality monitoring equipment, which can use protective replays with progress of microprocessor technology and provide information in the intranet/internet circumstances using web-based architecture is described.
