  • 본 논문에서는 이중여자 유도형 풍력발전기를 제어하기 위한 Power Conditioner Unit을 개발하였다. Power Conditioner Unit은 크게 전력변환을 담당하는 컨버터와 제어기로 구성된다. 컨버터는 2대를 back-to-back 구조로 연결하여 전력을 양방향으로 제어한다. 제어기는 계통의 전압 상태, 발전기의 회전속도와 발전량, 그리고 계통 운영자의 요구에 따라서 발전기의 발전량과 발전 시스템의 출력 역률 또는 계통전압을 제어한다.

  • The direct torque control(DTC) of induction machines has the advantages of a simple control scheme and a very quick and robust torque response and its application is extended in the traction field. However, some drawbacks of the conventional DTC strategy using a hysteresis controller are the relatively large torque ripple in the steady state and the variation of switching frequency according to the amplitude of hysteresis bands and the motor operating conditions. In this paper, a navel direct t()roue control scheme of induction machines based on stator flux control and Space Vector Modulation Is proposed to acquire the advantage of a fixed switching period and the minimization of the torque and stator current ripple in a wide speed range. The effect of proposed method has been proven by simulations and experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 속도검출기가 없는 표면부착형 영구자석 동기 전동기의 속도제어 기법을 제안한다. 표면부착형 영구자석 동기 전동기는 그 형상에 있어서는 자기적 돌극성을 가지지 않지만 기본 주파수에 비하여 높은 주파수를 가지는 전압을 전동기의 추정된 회전사의 위치와 같은 축에 인가함으로써 자속의 포화에 의한 고주파 임피던스의 차이를 관측할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 고주파 임피던스의 차이를 이용하여 전동기회전자의 위치를 추정하고, 추정된 회전자의 위치를 이용하여 속도 및 위치 검출기가 없이도 벡터제어를 수행한다. 또한, 이 고주파 임피던스의 특성은 부하조건에 따라 변하기 때문에 추정하는 회전자의 위치가 부하조건에 따라서 왜곡된다. 본 논문에서는 회전자의 위치를 추정한 후 부하조건에 따라 회전자의 위치를 보정하는 기법도 제안한다. 마지막으로 실험을 통하여 제안된 기법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • 전력 전자 공학의 발달에 의해 영구자석 동기전동기의 운전 분야가 대단히 진보되고 있음이 최근 논문을 통해서 보고 되고 있다. 영구자석 동기전송기는 크기와 중량의 감소, 저관성, 고효율 등의 장점이 있어 각종 분야의 응용에 유리하다. 본 연구는 마이크로프로세서와 전압원 인버터를 사용한 자기제어현 영구자석 동기전송기의 구동장치를 제안한다. 영구자석 동기전동기의 운전 회전자 위치를 정확히 검출하여 회전자 속도와 운전주파수를 동기화 시킴으로서 자기제어를 가능하게 한다. 고 분해능의 인크리멘탈 엔코더를 사용하여 영구자석 동기전동기에 적합한 자기제어형 PWM인버터 설계를 가능하게 하였다. 저속 영역에서 토오크 리플을 감소시키기 위해 펄스 수를 제어하였다.

  • In field oriented control of Induction motors, speed sensor is required, which reduces the sturdiness of drive system and together with the expenditure of hardware for faultless transmission and processing of sensor signals it causes considerable expenses. These expensive sensors can be replaced by speed sensorless concept. And for good control, the knowledge of the rotor flux component or the rotor resistance are needs. Thus, this paper is based on a Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) that estimates the state variables that are required for the control by only measuring the line voltages and currents of the machine. the rotor time constant and speed estimated by the EKF show satisfactory agreement with the real values, with the simulation approaches.

  • This paper propose an initial rotor position detection method for sensorless operation of a single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(SP-PMSM) with asymmetric air-gap. In general, the sensorless control based on back-emf estimation is difficult to estimate the back-emf at the zero and low speed regions. For this reason, an open loop start-up technique is indispensable, and it is also necessary to detect the initial position of the rotor in order to rotate in a certain direction. In this paper, we propose a method to detect rotor polarity by adding offset voltage to high frequency voltage signal based on the magnetic characteristics of SP-PMSM. The validity and usefulness of the proposed algorithm are verified through several experimental results.

  • Wide operating range and speed control is needed for wind power generating and a Doubly Fed Induction Generator(DFIG) has good adaptivity for that purpose. This paper deals with the speed, power, and power factor control using the Grid connected DFIG in the super-synchronous speed regions, by controlling frequency and voltage fed to the rotor. Power flow of the DFIG and steady-state algebraic equations of the equivalent circuit are analyzed. The wind turbine speed and constant stator power were controlled by the rotor exciting frequency. For a normal operating region, in which the generator ratings were not exceeded, rotor exciting frequency. For a normal operating region, in which the generator ratings were not exceeded, the rotor current was either less than or equal to the rated value. Accordingly, the optimal power factor can be selected relative to the permissible rated current at the rotor coil which controls the magnitude of the injected rotor voltage to the rotor according to a given rotor frequency. Consequently, it is possible to determine the optimal drive of a DFIG for wind power generation application.

  • In this paper, we attempt to control induction motors with high power efficiency as well as high dynamic performance by utilizing the recently developed theories : singular perturbation technique and noninteracting feedback control. Our controller consists of three subcontrollers` a saturation current controller, a decoupling controller, and a well-known flux simulator. The decoupling controller decouples rotor speed (or motor torque) and rotor flux linearly. Our controller does not need the rotor resistance that varies widely with the machine temperature. To illuminate the practical significance of our results, we present simulation and experimental results as well as mathematical performance analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기(IPMSM)의 속도추정을 위한 새로운 센서리스 알고리즘을 제안한다. 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기의 기본 전압 방정식을 이용하여 회전자의 자속을 추정하고, 위상고정루프(PLL)를 사용하여 회전자의 위치와 속도를 추정하는 방법으로 센서리스 알고리즘을 구성하였다. Matlab SIMULINK를 이용한 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 제안된 알고리즘을 검증하였다.

  • This paper studies particularly applicable method for sensorless PM BLDC motor drive system. The waveform of the motor internal voltages(or back emf) contains a fundamental and higher order frequency harmonics. Therefore the third harmonic component is extracted from the stator phase voltage. The resulting third harmonic signal keeps a constant phase relationship with the rotor flux for any motor speed and load condition. Also because of low resolution of estimated signal obtained by the proposed sensorless algorithm, to improve the wide range of speed response characteristic more exactly, we propose the rotor position signal synthesizer using PLL circuit based on estimated signals. Some experimental results are provided to demonstrate the validity of the proposed control method.
