A study on the characterization of electrode at graphite materials by impedance spectroscopy (임피던스를 이용한 흑연재료의 전극특성에 관한 연구)

  • The electrochemical behavior on electrographite and graphite foil electrode with porous surface in 0.5 M $K_{2}SO_{4}$ solution with 1 mM $[Fe(CN)_{6}]^{3-}/[Fe(CN)_{6}]^{4-}$ have been characterized by impedance spectroscopy. In cyclic voltammograms, relative high current according to structure of porous surface for graphite materials was represented, and indicated hgih double layer capacitance on graphite foil. The faraday-impedance and the change of impedance spectrum on both graphite materials were not remarkable during polarization by reaction of field transport. Chemical adsorption was represented on electrographite and was depended highly at anodic polarization.

  • In this paper, we analyze the impedance analysis of vertical interconnection through-silicon vias (TSV) that is being studied for the purpose of improving the degree of integration and an electric feature in 3D IC. Also, it is to improve the performance and the degree of integration of the three-dimensional integrated circuit system which can exceed the limits of conventional two-dimensional a IC. In the future, TSV technology in full-chip 3-dimensional integrated circuit system design is very important, and a study on the electrical characteristics of the TSV for high-density and high-bandwidth system design is very important. Therefore, we study analyze the impedance influence of the TSV in accordance with the distance and frequency in a multiple TSV-to-TSV for the purpose of designing a full-chip three-dimensional IC. The results of this study also are applicable to semiconductor process tools and designed for the manufacture of a full-chip 3D IC.

  • Rebar corrosion in cement mortar containing chloride ions was investigated by electrochemical AC impedance spectroscopy. Corrosion of mild steel bar was accelerated by an acceleration test equipment in short period. Impedance values obtained from AC-impedance method could be adapted to the proposed electrochemical equivalent circuit model and they were consistent with calculated values obtained by CNLS fitting method. The weight loss of rebar could be calculated by charge transfer resistance($R_2$) with time and it was close to real value.

  • The corrosion behavior of a rebar in concrete according to the amount of NaCl and $LiNO_2$ was observed by using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. The corrosion was accelerated in a short time by using dry/wet cycles method, which is one of the corrosion acceleration methods, and though the value of measured impedance, equivalent circuit can be introduced. It was confirmed that the passive film of a embedded rebar in concrete with NaCl was broken quickly, and when $0.6M\;LiNO_2$ was added, the velocity of ongoing corrosion was declined considerably compared to the amount of NaCl. However, when $1.2M\;LiNO_2$ was added, it was confirmed that the passive film was not broken and its performance remained, compared to the amount of NaCl.

  • It is well known that distributed generation(DG) system using renewable energy is an alternative to solve the problems which result from the exhaustion of fossil fuel and the environmental pollution. A PWM inverter is required for a power flow control in the DG systems. This paper proposes a SRF power flow control method considering grid impedance in grid-connected single-phase inverter systems. The proposed SRF power flow control method can provide a voltage-reference for the single-phase inverter even without any grid impedance estimation so that the single-phase inverter system could operate in stand-alone mode and grid-connected mode based on the known nominal value of grid impedance. Also independent controls of active and reactive power are achieved by the proposed control method. The effectiveness and the validity of the proposed control method are demonstrated through simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed control method can control properly power flow in grid-connected single-phase inverter systems.

  • This paper proposes a FSK(Frequency Shift Keying) transmitter which has a inverter for power amplification instead of linear amplifier. As it can generate large signal using resonant circuit under the low voltage source even if the impedance of antenna is large as like a loop antenna of TWC(Train to Way-side Communication) system. In this paper, the proposed fully digital controlled transmitter including FSK modulation is presented and its control schemes are discussed.

  • This paper presents the installation of measuring system for the transient behaviors of grounding system impedances using portable impulse current generator. The measuring system is controller, with controller, power supply, impulse current generator and data aquisition system. In the evaluation of the impulse response in a ground electrode, the step response is calculated based on the ratio of the voltage and current observed.
