The Derivation of Error Estimates with Various Shape Functions for Time Integration Using Finite Element Approach (유한요소 기법을 적용한 시간적분법에서 형상함수에 따른 오차추정치 유도)

  • 불연속 갤러킨 정식화에 기초를 둔 시간적분법에 대하여 시간을 변수로 한 유한요소적 접근법을 시도하였다. 단일 형상함수와 두 형상함수 정식화에 대해 각각 선형, 이차 형상함수를 적용하여 모두 네 종류의 시간적분법을 유도하였으며, 각 방법에 대하여 시간시텝의 증가에 따른 변위와 속도의 관계를 나타내는 증폭행렬을 계산하였다. 유도된 방법들의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 부하가 갑자기 변화는 진동 문제를 해석하고 변위의 오차를 비교하였다. 네 가지의 방법에 대하여 국부 오차 추정치를 개발하였으며, 오차 추정치의 정확도를 수치예를 이용하여 평가하였다. 단일 형상함수 정식화에서 이차 형상함수를 이용한 오차 추정치가 실제 국부오차를 잘 나타내었으며 유도된 오차 추정치는 시간간격제어 기법에서 시간간격의 크기를 결정하는 척도로 이용 가능하다.

A Non-singular Boundary Integral Equation for Acoustic Problems (음향 문제에서의 특이성이 제거된 경계 적분 방정식)

  • 일반적으로 음향 문제에 상용되는 경계요소법은 Kirchhoff-Helmholtz 적분 방정식에 약특이성과 강특이성의 커널을 갖고 있어, 경계면에 매우 근접한 음장을 해석할 때 수치 적분 과정에서 큰 오차를 유발한다. 본 연구에서는 평면파 성분을 이용하여 약특이성 방정식 및 특이성이 제거된 음장 음압의 과도한 오차는 약특이성 경계 적분 방정식의 적용으로 제거될 수 있었다. 부드러운 경계면을 가진 경우는 모든 특이성의 제거가 가능하여 특이성 처리를 위한 특별한 처리가 불필요하게 되었다. 제안된 방법을 검증하기 위하여 몇 가지 단순한 모델에 대하여 경계 요소 계산을 수행하였고, 경계면 부근의 근접 음장에서 음압 예측의 정확도가 향상되는 결과를 얻었다.

  • The integral term of PID controller have the advantage of reduced steady state error and the disadvantage of accumulated errors. We proposed a method that maintains its advantage and improvs the disadvantage in transient response. The proposed PID control method with modified integral parameter accumulates errors in increment section and ignores errors in decrement section. Therefore, the proposed PID control method decreases overshoot, and makes settling time faster than conventional PID control method.

  • A spectrophotorreter using two-beam type integrating sphere is developed, and the measurerrent accuracy is analyzed. The efficiency of the integrating sphere is analyzed, and the relation between the efficiency and the total measurerrent error is found. Especially, the integrating sphere is fabricated on the basis of its characteristics according to its shape such as the sample port. The perfonnance of the developed spectrophotorreter is tested using a black and a white standard reflectance plate, and the measurerrent error of $\pm0.5%$ is obtained.tained.

  • In this paper, we design a robust controller for trajectory control of n-link robot manipulators with bounded parametric uncertainties. The proposed control scheme with integral control improves tracking error due to limit of the robust feedback gains and use of continuous control input for chattering rejection. The integral of the tracking error is augmented to the error system equation and the stability of the closed-loop system is achieved. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulation on a 2-link manipulator.

  • In this paper, estimation angle performance analysis of amplitude-comparison monopulse radar under additive noise effect is dealt with. When uncorrelated white noises are added to the squinted beams, the angle estimation performance is analyzed through the mean square error(MSE). The numerical integration-based mean square error result completely overlaps the Monte Carlo-based mean square error result, which corresponds to 99.8% of the Monte Carlo-based mean square error result. In addition, the mean square error analysis method based on numerical integration has a much faster operation time than the mean square error method based on Monte Carlo. the angle estimation performance of the amplitude comparison monopulse radar can be efficiently analyzed in various noise environments through the proposed numerical integration-based mean square error method.

  • Among many algorithms for the integration problems in which one wants to compute the approximation to the definite integral in the average case setting, we study the average case errors of numerical integration rules using interpolation. In particular, we choose the composite Newton-Cotes quadratures and the function values at equally spaced sample points on the given interval as information. We compute the average case error of composite Newton-Cotes quadratures and show that it is minimal(modulo a multiplicative constant).

  • A bi-directional, multi-step numerical integrator is developed to determine the GPS (Global Positioning System) orbit based on a dynamic approach, which shows micrometer-level accuracy at GPS altitude. The acceleration due to the planets other than the Moon and the Sun is so small that it is replaced by the empirical forces in the Solar Radiation Pressure (SRP) model. The satellite orbit parameters are estimated with the least-squares adjustment method using both the integrated orbit and the published IGS (International GNSS Service) precise orbit. For this estimation procedure, the integration should be applied to the partial derivatives of the acceleration with respect to the unknown parameters as well as the acceleration itself. The accuracy of the satellite orbit is evaluated by the RMS (Root Mean Squares error) of the residuals calculated from the estimated orbit parameters. The overall RMS of orbit error during March 2009 was 5.2 mm, and there are no specific patterns in the absolute orbit error depending on the satellite types and the directions of coordinate frame. The SRP model used in this study includes only the direct and once-per-revolution terms. Therefore there is errant behavior regarding twice-per-revolution, which needs further investigation.

  • Elasto-plastic finite element analysis of geotechnical boundary value problems necessitate the stress integration for the known strain increments. For the elasto-plastic constitutive model, the stress integration is generally achieved by numerical schemes, because analytical integration is impossible for general strain path. In this case, the accuracy of numerical stress integration has an important role on the overall accuracy of nonlinear finite element solution. In this study, the Sloan's substepping method which is one of explicit integration methods has been adopted and iris applicability has been checked. The unstability and inaccuracy of ifs results initiated from initial stress level were revealed. So. a new modified numerical integration method which employs the basic concept of modified Euler scheme for error control is proposed and accuracy and stability of the solutions are confirmed by triaxial test simulation.

  • 본 논문에서는 개선된 적분기를 이용하여 3상 AC/DC 컨버터의 직접 전력 제어(Direct Power Control)를 위한 가상 자속의 추정 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 가상 자속 추정을 위해 사용하는 일반적인 적분기는 dc drift 문제를 유발한다. 이는 보통 저역 통과 필터를 사용으로 보완이 가능하지만, 이 경우 추정된 자속은 크기와 위상의 오차를 갖는다. 따라서 제안하는 기법은 각속도 오차가 가상 자속의 위상 지연 오차와 비례하는 관계를 분석하고 이를 보상하여 속응성 및 안정성을 향상시킨다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 기법의 타당성을 검증한다.
