Evaluation of developing efficiency on latent fingerprint (잠재지문 현출효율 평가에 대한 연구)

  • Powder method is simple and very effective method for developing latent finger and palm print in crime scene. This technique has been actively studied to enhance effectiveness. In general, the evaluation for developing powder is mainly performed by the subjective opinion of researcher from comparison of the results obtained with existing and new one to develope finger and palm deposition. The purpose of this work is to present objective method of powder-treated latent fingerprint for evaluating method by developing efficiency. We indicated three evaluating methods of objective developing efficiency, which are measuring the number of minutiae in same sections on print, scattering level of developing reagent and contrast between developing reagent and background materials.

A Study on Collection Performance Evaluation of Public Libraries in Korea (우리나라 공공도서관의 장서성과평가에 관한 연구)

  • This study is a case study in which collection performance evaluation was attempted using key performance indicators presented by EBSM or collectionHQ, taking three public libraries located in Geumjeong-gu, Busan as examples. Focusing on the collection performance evaluation, which evaluates the performance of the collection, not only the evaluation of individual libraries, but also the differences in the evaluation results of libraries were reviewed. The key performance indicators used are grubby items, dead items, popular author provision, popular subject provision, overstocked subject areas and understocked subject areas. The main analysis results are as follows. First, in the evaluation of the grubby items, the ratio of grubby items out of all items in all three libraries was low. Second, in the case of all dead items, the ratio was high in all three libraries, It exceeded the base value suggested by collectionHQ. Third, the Top 10 popular authors were identified, and there were differences among libraries. Fourth, in the evaluation of provision of popular subject areas, all three libraries had almost no popular subject areas. Fifth, in the evaluation of overstocked subject areas, there was no overstock at Geumsaem Library, but many at Geumjeong Library and Seodong Library. Sixth, in the subject area evaluation of understocked inventory, only Geumsaem Library showed a lack of inventory.

A Study on the Macro Analysis of Knowledge Structure of the Domestic Korean Studies for Identifying the Research Fields (국내 한국학 분야의 연구 영역 식별을 위한 거시적 지식구조 분석 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the research fields constituting the knowledge structure of the Korean Studies by applying hierarchical clustering method to domestic journal papers in Korean Studies. We analyzed 3,800 papers containing Korean author keyword that were listed in 14 kinds of Korean Studies journals published in 2004-2013, which have average impact factor more than 0.5 in 2011-2013. The results of the analysis show that the central research fields are the subjects related to political & social problems based on Confucian ideas focusing on Neo-Confucianism (Seonglihak) and Realist School of Confucianism (Silhak), to the political situation associated with territorial division of the Korean peninsula, and to the history from the period of japanese colonialism to modern and contemporary. It has been also found that the temporal backgrounds of researches in domestic Korean Studies were related to the modern times and the Joseon Dynasty periods, rather than the time of the ancient and contemporary.

  • Statement of responsibility in bibliographical records plays a key role in clarifying intellectual responsibility of the work, and it also plays a role in making up access points. However, cataloging rules for the statement of responsibility mostly deal with the distinction between the principal role and minor roles. This becomes a problem because the responsibility type itself is more important than the order of the types. For this reason, in this paper I will explore improvements of the description methods of statement of responsibility by organizing the role indicators. Namely, using the role indicators more effectively than the current description methods do, we can collocate the dispersed statements of responsibilities. The role indicators can also be used for an author facet in information retrieval and can provide additional information for authority control.

  • '채석(quarrying)'산업은 노천광산에서 광물을 캐내는 작업을 모두 포함하는 광범위한 산업을 의미한다. 1900년대에 들어오면서 채석작업에 홈연소기(channel burner)을 이용한 불꽃절개법(flame cutting)이 이용하여 근로자의 먼지 노출이 많이 감소하였다. 채석작업으로 인한 주 된 건강문제는 먼지, 소음, 진동 노출이며, 노천작업장으로 작업환경이 개방되어 있어 환경측정 및 관리가 불가능하므로 개별근로자의 먼지와 소음 노출 측정 및 예방이 중요하다. 본 연구는 미국의 일개 채석회사의 근로자 건강관리사업을 평가하였다. 연구자료는 저자가 현장 방문을 통하여 구한 자료와 연구대상 회사의 안전관리자의 의견 및 미국 산업안전보건국 전산자료를 이용하였다. 채석사업장에서 이루어지는 작업은 크게 채석작업과 실내에서 이루어지는 가공작업 및 운반과 보관이며, 미국 산업안전보건국(OSHA)의 표준산업분류(SIC)에서 1411(채석업)과 3281(채석가공업)에 해당한다<표 1>. 연구 대상 사업장에서 이루어지는 산업보건프로그램은 먼지 노출 예방을 위해 석재 채취시 물분사법(water jet quarrying)과 국소환기법을 사용하고 소음 노출 예방을 위해 귀마개를 사용하며 사고 예방을 위하여 안전모와 철모, 보안경, 안전조끼, 보호장갑, 안전끈(harness)을 착용하였다. 평가 결과로 나온 연구 대상 사업장에서 적용하여야 할 산업보건 프로그램은 첫째, 먼지 노출로 인한 건강문제를 예방하기 위하여 근로자 개별 노출 측정을 하고, 둘째 실내가공작업장의 근로자를 대상으로 한 먼지와 소음 노출 측정 및 환경측정이 필요하며, 셋째 안전관리를 위해 채석장에 안전표지판을 설치하여야 하며, 실내가공 작업장의 자동이동시스템을 작업별로 채색하여 식별을 용이하게 하여야 하겠다. 또한 이 연구 결과를 영세사업장의 산업간호프로그램인 'Clean 3D'사업에서 적용하여 우리나라 채석사업장 근로자 건강관리를 발전시켜야 하겠다.

  • Over the past decade, the topic of work breakdown structure (WBS) has gained an increasing amount of attention from information technology professionals as an effective tool for managing the complexity of a large-scale information system development project. It is a method for planning and controlling a large-scale information system development. A WBS provides the basis for project organization, cost estimation, task scheduling, and contract management. Based on the authors' practical experience, this paper discusses how to establish a specific WBS and some considerations for developing a well-defined WBS. The model of WBS suggested in this study will provide useful insight and guidelines for establishing the spec-ific WBS for a large-scale information systems development.

Multi-Dimensional Analysis on Entrepreneurship Studies in the 'Asia Pacific Journal of Small Business (APJSB)' ('중소기업연구' 학술지 기업가정신 연구 동향에 관한 다차원 분석)

  • This study aims to diagnose research trends and to deduct implications from meta analysis of entrepreneurship studies in the Asia Pacific Journal of Small Business (APJSB), one of the most well-known academic journals in management and entrepreneurship field in Korea. Frequency and crossover analysis are executed in multi-dimensions by time period, topic, author, research level, data, and methodology by complete enumeration of every published paper for 40 years in APJSB which included core terms of entrepreneurship in its title, abstract, or keywords. From objective and quantitative schematization of research trends and characteristics of entrepreneurship studies, novel improvement plans which are highly applicable in research fields are suggested such as diversification of studies from ecosystem perspective, identification of authors, and standardized system of extended abstract of research papers. Implications and suggestions derived from the results propose future research directions and tasks when entrepreneurship studies have been rapidly increased. Furthermore, the innovation plans of management system of journals and papers are expected to contribute promotion of entire studies by significantly reducing trial and error, and inefficiency in research process.

  • 현대의 산업화 사회에서는 자동인식을 통해서 사람과 사물을 식별하고자 하는 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그 대표적인 예로 바코드를 이용한 접촉식 판별기술이 있고, 라디오 주파수를 이용한 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 기술을 들 수 있다. RFID의 경우는 무선 주파수를 이용하기 때문에 대량의 사물을 동시에 인식 할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 하지만. 어떠한 상황에서 리더의 요청에 응답을 하는 리더-태그 시스템이기 때문에 사용자의 프라이버시 침해 문제를 야기 할 수 있다. 사용자의 프라이버시 침해문제를 막기 위해서 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그 중에서, Miyako Ohkubo의 Hash체인을 이용한 프라이버시 보호 기법은 정보유출, 위치추적공격(Location Tracking Attack), 전방위보안성(Forward Security)과 같은 프라이버시 침해문제들로부터 사용자의 프라이버시를 보호 할 수 있는 프로토콜이다. 그러나 Hash함수를 태그에 구현하는 것은 현재까지는 불가능한 상황이다. 또, Martin Feldhofer의 AES(Advanced Encryption Standard)를 사용한 프로토콜은 실제로 태그에 구현 가능하면서 내부구조가 8bit인 AES를 사용함으로써 암호학적인 강도를 높였으나, 프라이버시 침해 문제에서 단점을 드러냈다. 이러한 단점을 보완한 AES기반에서의 개선된 RFID 프라이버시 보호 프로토콜은 실제적으로 태그에 구현 가능한 AES를 이용한 암호화 체인을 통해서 프라이버시 보호에 우수하면서 실제 사용이 가능한 프로토콜을 제안하였다[1]. 그러나, 이 프로토콜은 생성되는 키 값들이 물리적 공격을 통해서 노출이 되었을 때, 이전의 seed값과 키 값들이 노출 되는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결하고자 프라이버시보호에 새로운 키 생성 방법을 통한 강력한 프로토콜을 제안 한다.하였으나 사료효율은 증진시켰으며, 후자(사양, 사료)와의 상호작용은 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과는 거세비육돈에서 1) androgen과 estrogen은 공히 자발적인 사료섭취와 등지방 침적을 억제하고 IGF-I 분비를 증가시키며, 2) 성선스테로이드호르몬의 이 같은 성장에 미치는 효과의 일부는 IGF-I을 통해 매개될 수도 있을을 시사한다. 약 $70 {\~} 90\%$의 phenoxyethanol이 유상에 존재하였다. 또한, 미생물에 대한 항균력도 phenoxyethanol이 수상에 많이 존재할수록 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 따라서, 제형 내 oil tomposition을 변화시킴으로써 phenoxyethanol의 사용량을 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 피부 투과를 감소시켜 보다 피부 자극이 적은 저자극 방부시스템 개발이 가능하리라 보여 진다. 첨가하여 제조한 curd yoghurt는 저장성과 관능적인 면에서 우수한 상품적 가치가 인정되는 새로운 기능성 신제품의 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료되었다. 여자의 경우 0.8이상이 되어서 심혈관계 질환의 위험 범위에 속하는 수준이었다. 삼두근의 두겹 두께는 남녀 각각 $20.2\pm8.58cm,\;22.2\pm4.40mm$으로 남녀간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 조사대상자의 식습관 상태는 전체 대상자의 $84.4\%$가 대부분이 하루 세끼 식사를 규칙적으로 하고 있었으며 식사속도는 허겁지겁 빨리 섭취하는 경우가 남자는 $31.0\%$, 여자는 $21.4\%$로 나타났고 이들을 제외한 나머지 사람들은 보통 속도 혹은 충분한 시간을 가지고 식사를 하였다. 평소 식사량은 조금 적게 혹은 적당하게 섭취하는 사람이 대부분이었으며 남자가 여자보다는 배부르게 먹는 경 향이 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 식사는 혼자 하는 경우가 남자

  • In 2004, in order to create core competences and major growth drivers for endogenous regional developments, the Korean government adopted the policies for establishing regional innovation systems, The main organization for the policies is the regional innovation council which is composed of diverse groups of scholars, professionals, and government officials. The regional innovation council of Kang-won Province consists of a couple of sub-divisions such as Operation Committee, Administration Office, Planning and Moderation Department, Strategic Industry Department, Culture and Tourism Industry Department, Regional Industry Department, and Regional Human Resource Development Department. The primary roles and jobs are planning, reviewing, evaluating and finalizing regional innovation policies. However, because of conflicts with local government, insufficient budget problems, organization structure problems, and decision making process problems, the regional innovation councils could not perform their original roles and functions. They could not adopt radical or non-traditional strategies. Although it's failure, a lot of people recognize the importance of regional innovation councils' roles and functions, I believe there would be another regional innovation councils coming continuously which would be take more important roles and have more power over budgeting problems. The purpose of this article is to identify the primary sources of strategies and organization structure problems of the previous regional innovation councils and to provide a couple of answers. In this paper, the author primarily analyze the problems of the Kang-won innovation council. A couple of answers to the desirable organization structures and the desirable roles of regional innovation councils will be presented for discussion.

  • There is a need for more accurate prediction in surgical orthodontic treatment. Video imaging is an important technology in planning orthognathic surgery and educating patients about the esthetic results after treatment. Preoperative and postoperative lateral cephalogram of 30 patients who had one piece Le Fort I osteotomy advancement and mandibular set back by bilateral intraoral vertical ramal osteotomy with or without genioplasty were used in this study. The computer generated soft tissue line drawing prediction were compared with the actual postoperative cephalograms .The results are as follows. 1. 14 variables showed Statistically significant differences from 24 variables between computer predicted profile and post operative profile 2. Most of the differences were found in the maxilla-related soft tissue landmarks. 3. The predicted results were more accurate in the groups who had small amount of mandibular set back. 4. The predicted results were more accurate in the groups who had no genioplasty. Most of these differences were within 2mm ranges. Therefore profile change prediction by video imaging could be considered clinically acceptable.
