Availability Improvement Model of (n,k) Cluster Systems using Software Rejuvenation (소프트웨어 재활기법을 적용한 (n,k) 클러스터 시스템의 가용도 향상 모델)

  • Internet-based computer systems have to provide both high-availability and high-performance. Cluster technology has been used to obtain availability and performance simultaneously Generally, high-availability cluster systems tolerate a failure of a cluster node and cost-effectively solve it. In this paper, we study availability and downtime cost of (n,k) cluster systems. By considering performance, we model state transition of (n,k) cluster systems and apply software rejuvenation technique to improve availability of the system. We find that software rejuvenation can be used to improve availability of (n,k) cluster systems.

  • In this paper, we propose a system that can perform dumbbell exercise by recognizing the weight of dumbbells without wearing and device. With the development of virtual reality technnology, many studies are being conducted to simulate the pysical feedback of the real world in the virtual world. Accurate motion recognition is important to the elderly for rehabilitation exercises. They cannot lift heavy dumbbells. For rehabilitation exercise, correct body movement according to an appropriate weight must be performed. We use a machine learning algorithm for the accuracy of motion data input in real time. As an experiment, we was test three types of bicep, double, shoulder exercise and verified accuracy of exercise. In addition, we made a virtual gym game to actually apply these exercise in virtual reality.

  • 본 논문에서는 심전도(ECG) 센서와 에지 컴퓨팅(Edge computing)을 활용하여 실시간 데이터와 Bayesian optimization을 통한 기계학습 알고리즘으로 재활 로봇에서 발목을 제어할 수 있는 Parameter(외골격 관련) 최적값을 출력한다. 심전도 센서 적용을 기반으로 하는 바이오 데이터 기술, 기계 학습(Bayesian optimization) 모델 접근 방식과 하드웨어 결합으로 재활 로봇 모터를 제어할 수 있는 Parameter 제공과 실시간 모터 제어 운영할 수 있도록 분석 플랫폼을 구축한다. 이 플랫폼을 이용해보다 효과적인 이동형 로봇설계 및 처리 방법을 연결할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였고, 로봇제어에 많이 사용하고 있는 매트랩 시뮬링크(Matlab simulink)를 연결할 수 있는 범용 통신 지원한다. 센서-전처리-인공지능 알고리즘-모터 제어 Parameter로 연계되는 데이터 가공과 처리 방법으로 최근 분석 기법을 적용하여 바이오 데이터 연구 활동과 이동형 재활 로봇 관련 데이터 분석 분야를 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시니어(senior)들을 위한 치매예방 및 인지재활을 위한 프로그램으로 시니어들의 정확한 인지운동 반응의 수준을 평가하고, 치매 예방 효과를 검정하기 위한 과학적이고 객관화된 검사 도구를 개발하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 시니어들에게 스마트폰(smart phone)을 활용한 개별화 훈련을 실시하여 인지운동 발달을 촉진시키고, 스마트폰에 대한 접근기회를 제공하기 위한 인지재활 공학 도구로서의 스마트폰 어플리케이션(application)을 설계를 제안하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 뇌졸중, 치매 등 재활치료가 필요한 환자를 대상으로 하는 재활 프로그램을 Kinect와 Unity3D를 이용하여 구현하고, 이를 제어하기 위한 효과적인 제스처 기반 Natural User Interface를 적용하였다. 이는 동작 인식을 위해 Kinect 주변에 가까이 있기 어려운 프로그램 사용 환경을 원거리 조작이 가능케 하여 더욱 편하게 조작할 수 있게 하며, 직관적이고 단순한 제스처를 정의함으로써 가정에서도 손쉽게 사용할 수 있게 하였다.

  • When the eldery with limited mobility and disabled use a wheelchairs to move, it can cause decreased exercise ability like decline muscular strength in upper limb and lower extremities. The disabled people suffers with spinal cord injuries or post stroke hemiplegia are easily exposed to secondary problems due to limited mobility. In this paper, We designed intelligent wheelchair robot system for upper limb and lower extremities exercise/rehabilitation considering the characteristics of these severely disabled person. The system consists of an electric wheelchair, biometrics module for Identification characteristics of users, upper limb and lower extremities rehabilitation. In this paper, describes the design and configurations and of developed robot. Also, In order to verify the system function, conduct performance evaluation targeting non-disabled about risk context analysis with biomedical signal change and upper limb and lower extremities rehabilitation over wheelchair robot move. Consequently, it indicate sufficient tracking performance for rehabilitation as at about 86.7% average accuracy for risk context analysis and upper limb angle of 2.5 and lower extremities angle of 2.3 degrees maximum error range of joint angle.

A Systematic Review on Rehabilitation Research for Improving the Range of Motion of Shoulder Joint Motion in Patients with Breast Cancer Resection (유방암 절제술 환자의 어깨 관절가동범위 증진을 위한 재활 연구에 관한 체계적 고찰)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the types and effects of rehabilitation by systematically examining the rehabilitation research for improving the shoulder ROM in breast cancer resection patients. For a systematic review, a total of 8 studies were finally selected through three databases including RISS. As a result of this study, the level of qualitative was 4 studies(50.0%) in level III, and the rehabilitation period varied from 4 weeks to 12 weeks. As for the type of rehabilitation, 3 studies(37.5%) were occupational therapy and physical therapy. The ROM of the shoulder joint was 7 studies(87.5%) of flexion, extension, and external rotation. A goniometer was used in 8 studies(100.0%) to evaluate the ROM of the joint as a measuring tool. This study is expected to provide basic data in the field of convergence when developing and applying interventional protocols for patients with limited ROM due to breast cancer resection.

  • Audiological rehabilitation by itself can provide satisfactory services through acquisition of background information on hearing loss, audiological evaluation, analysis of electroacoustic characteristics of hearing aids, and determining acoustic gain. However, hearing can be exacerbated, and sound pressure level of hearing aids can be lowered. Moreover, breakdown of hearing aids can happen. Therefore, the early detection of hearing loss and regular follow-up observations are very important. The aim of this study concern the direction of effective audiological rehabilitation by checking the clinical cases where hearing aids fitting failures were found.
