Implant試驗에 의한 溶接低溫龜製의 評價

  • (1) Implant 용접저온귀열시험은 용접 열cycle에 따른 금속조직의 경향과 구속상태의 경향을 분 리하여 평가할 수 있는 사용한 시험법이다. (2) 한계파단응력(.sfgma.$_{cr}$ .)은 재료의 탄소다량( $C_{eq}$ .) 및 융접부 광산성수소량 ( $H_{D}$)과 밀접한 관계를 가지며 $C_{eq}$ . 및 $H_{D}$가 작을수록 .sfgma.$_{cr}$ .가 높다. (3) 시험편의 notch형상이 circular이든 spiral이든 한계파단응력은 동일하다. (4) 시험편의 파단은 notch로 부터 발생하기 시작하여 그 부분에서는 수소포화 의벽개파면은 나타낸다.

열전모듈의 가속수명시험과 고장분석을 통한 신뢰도 예측

  • 본 논문에서는 가속 수명 시험을 통하여 열전소자의 수명 분포, 모수 등을 규명하였으며 고장 분석을 통하여 열전 소자의 수명 증가를 위한 대책 방안을 논의하였다. 가속 수명 시험 결과 열전 소자는 형상 모수 3,6인 Weibull 분포를 따름을 알 수 있었다. 열전 소자가 반도체 부품임에도 불구하고 형상 모수가 큰 이유는 반복 Bending에 의한 피로 파괴가 발생하기 때문임을 고장 분석을 통하여 규명하였다. 위의 고장 메커니즘을 설명할 수 있는 가속 모델식은 Coffin-Manson식으로 설명되어 질 수 있으며 가속수명시험 결과 재료 상수는 1.8임을 알 수 있었다.

A study on the forming condition of a bone plate made of a glass/polypropylene composite (Twintex) (유리섬유/폴리프로필렌 복합재료 (Twintex)를 이용한 고정판 성형조건에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, tensile and bending tests of glass/polypropylene composite (Twintex) specimens fabricated by various forming conditions were carried out and the results were compared according to the forming conditions to find the appropriate condition for the forming composite bone plates. From the tests it was found that the most appropriate forming conditions were $230^{\circ}C$, 3MPa. Composite bone plates were formed using this condition by two different fabricating methods for screw holes: one was a net shape molding and the other was drilling. The forming and bending tests revealed that the drilling process provided much better bending stiffness of bone plates. This paper provided the most appropriate condition for forming composite bone plates and this result was also expected to offer informative data on forming of other Twintex structures.

전기용품 기술기준 개정

  • 공진청은 최근 전기용품의 기술기준을 일부 개정했다. 이번에 개정된 전기용품의 기술기준은 우리나라가 국제전기인증위원회(IECEE)에 정회원으로 가입됨에 따라 국제간 상호인증을 대비해 기술기준에 국제안전규격을 반영하기 위해서이다. 개정내용을 보면 시험항목에 소형 단상 변압기류의 잡음세기, 충전식인 것을 충전성능시험, 기계적 강도시험, 전동기 내장제품의 시동특성 등을 추가했으며 시험기준에 있어서는 합성수지 성형품의 내열성능시험과 절연저항 시험기준을 강화했다. 또 전기적인 안정성과 무관한 시험항목은 국제규격에도 없기 때문에 삭제했는데, 형광등기구는 열률을, 전기스탠드는 차광$\cdot$조도시험 열률을, 휴대전등은 집광시험 등을 조정했다. 이밖에도 재료에 있어 폴리염화비페닐 사용을 금지시켰다. 품목별 개정세부 내용은 다음과 같다. 시험항목에 추가된 품목 및 기준이 상향조정된 기술기준은 기난 9월 15일부터 적용되고 있다.

Repeated Load Triaxial Tests on Unbound Geomaterials in Pavement Foundations (반복재하시험에 의한 도로기초의 변형특성 평가)

  • This paper presents the results of a study that was performed to evaluate the characteristics of deformation under repeated loadings in unbound geomaterials of pavements. Two important parameters, resilient and permanent deformation were estimated using the repeated load triaxial test. In addition, the effects of different stress state and environmental conditions with various materials were evaluated. Due to the locking mechanism and resiliency of unbound geomaterials, a consistent increase in permanent deformation on unbound geomaterials was observed and the asymptotic condition is slightly reached. In conclusion, the results show that selected models and parameters are satisfactory to predict permanent deformations after a certain number of loadings.

  • Interfacial evaluation, damage sensing and cure monitoring of single carbon fiber/thermo setting composite with different curing processes were investigated using electro-micromechanical test. After curing, the residual stress was monitored by measurement of electrical resistance and then compared to various curing processes. In thermal curing case, matrix tensile strength, modulus and interfacial shear strength were higher than those of ultraviolet curing case. The shrinkage measured during thermal curing occurred significantly by matrix shrinkage and residual stress due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient. The apparent modulus measured in the thermal curing indicated that mechanical and interfacial properties were highly improved. The reaching time to the same stress of thermal curing was faster than that of UV curing case.

  • Material Testing Method subject of Metal Materials, which is one of curriculum of engineering major high school, is not properly updated even though both science and technology are advancing rapidly. Especially, the need of fractographic technique, which can analyze the fracture surface with the advanced testing equipment and technique, is increasing. The importance and the analyzing method of Fractography are proved by the characteristic analysis of pressure tube fracture surface of HWPR. In the future, in order to increase the professional knowledge and their pride of engineering major high school student, these advanced subject should be included in the new crriculum of engineering major high school. This activity to involve the advanced subject should be carried out voluntary by the first line teacher before the responsible body.

소형항공기용 고정식 착륙장치의 동적특성에 관한 연구

  • Most of studies for landing gear have been performed to analyze the shock absorbing characteristics of oleo-pneumatic struts. But it is not easy to solve the dynamic specific properties of spring type composite landing gear using a present method. The shock absorbing abilities of oleo-pneumatic landing gear strut are under influence of the internal design method on the strut rather than the landing gear structure itself. Unlike oleo type, spring type composite strut absorbs the shock with structural strength and dynamic characteristics of the strut's material and shape. The tests and analysis for the shock absorbing rate and dynamic behavior of the spring type composite fixed landing gear for 4 seats small aircraft, have been performed using landing gear drop test rig.

A Statistical Study of Effective Properties due to Fiber Tow Misalignment and Thickness Change for Plain Weave Textile Composites (섬유다발 배열 및 적층수에 따른 평직복합재료 등가물성치의 변화에 관한 통계적 연구)

  • In this paper, statistical treatments of effective properties for plain weave textile composites were presented. Configurations up to 32 layers with varied stacking phase shifts were considered. Effective properties were calculated by numerical simulation in which uni-axial tensile and shear load were applied at unit cell. Sample analysis was utilized to consider the inherent randomness in the phase shift and the results were treated statistically. It was found that effective properties were dependent on stacking phase shifts for thin plain weave textile composites. The distribution of $E_{xx}$ and $V_{xy}$ were skewed and the range of possible values was relatively large. As the number of layers increased, however, the distribution width became narrower and mean values converged. In contrast, $G_{xy}$ was not affected by phase shifts and thickness changes.

  • The slow strain-rate test($1{\times}10^{-4}~1{\times}10^{-7}sec^{-1}$) was performed to understand the tensile properties of chopped strand glass mat/polyester composite in air and synthetic sea water. (pH 6.0, 8.2, 10.0) For the tested composite subjected to tensile loading in air and synthetic sea water (ph 6.0, 8.2, 10.0), the tensile properties are a little decreased as strain rate decrease and a little decrease in stiffness is observed in $1{\times}10^{-7}sec^{-1}$. The tensile properties were some changed in case the pH value in synthetic sea water is varied.
