자동차 제동시 나타나는 마찰특성에 관한 연구(I. 고체 윤활제($Sb_2S_3$)와 연마제($ZrSiO_4$)의 함량에 따른 영향 (Effect of the Amount of a Lubricant and an Abrasive in the Friction Material on Friction Characteristics)

  • Frictional behavior of three automotive friction materials (brake pads) containing different amounts of antimony trisulfide ($Sb_2S_3$) and zirconium silicate ($ZRSiO_4$) were investigated using a front brake system. The friction materials were tested on a brake dynamometer (dyno) with gray cast iron rotors. The dynamometer(dyno) test simulated the dragging of a ehicle maintaining 70 km/h and vehicle stops from 100 km/h using 20 different combinations of initial brake temperature (IBT) and input pressure (IP). The results showed a strong influence of the relative amount of $Sb_2S_3$ and $ZrSiO_4$ in friction materials on friction characteristics. Friction stability was improved with the higher concentration of $Sb_2S_3$ in the friction material. Torque variation during drag cycle was increased with an increase of the $ZrSiO_4$ concentration in the friction material. Average friction coefficient and the wear rate of the friction material increased by using more aggressive friction materials containing more $ZrSiO_4$ and less $Sb_2S_3$. Generation of the disk thickness variation (DTV) increased when friction materials with higher concentration of $ZrSiO_4$ were used Careful examination of DTV change showed that aggressiveness of the friction material played an important role in determining torque variation.

경상북도 후포와 강원도 장호에서 정치망으로 채집된 어류 종조성 비교 (Comparison of Fish Species Composition Collected by Set Net at Hupo in Gyeong-Sang-Buk-Do, and Jangho in Gang-Won-Do, Korea)

  • Two major temperature fronts, the Subpolar (Gosung, Gang-won-do; $38^{\circ}-41^{\circ}N$) and Thermal (Jukbyun, Gyeong-sang-buk-do; $36^{\circ}-37^{\circ}N$) fronts, are found in the East Sea along the east coast of Korea. These are located roughly where the Tsushima Warm Current and North Korea Cold Current intersect. To clarify the effect of the Thermal Front, we investigated seasonal variation in fish species composition using set nets in two areas located north (Jangho, Gang-won-do) and south (Hupo, Gyeong-sang-buk-do) of Jukbyun, Gyeong-sang-buk-do, and compared the sea water temperature and salinity. We collected a total of 38 fish species in Hupo and 25 in Jangho. Trachurus japonicus was the most common species at both sites, but the subdominant species differed. At Hupo, the subdominant species were Konosirus punctatus and Diodon holocanthus, whereas Clupea pallasii and Scomber japonicus were subdominant at Jangho. Based on Froese and Pauly (2014), subtropical fishes accounted for 55% of fish in Hupo but only for 33% in Jangho. The difference in fish species composition was most obvious in May and August. According to the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration, sea surface temperature and salinity were slightly higher at Hupo than at Jangho. Our findings suggest that the oceanographic boundary resulting from the Thermal Front near Jukbyun, Gyeong-sang-bukdo may have a major effect on the distribution of migratory fish species.

加祚盆地의 地形發達 (Geomorphic Development of the Kajo Basin)

  • 1) 加祚盆地는 花岡岩이 貫入한 地域이 侵蝕되는 과정상에서 熱接觸變質을 받은 주변 地質은 侵蝕에 저항하여 山地로 남고, 중앙의 花岡岩은 쉽게 침식을 받아 盆地底가 된 花岡岩의 侵蝕盆地이다. 2) 盆地底에는 形成시기를 달리하는 7개의 지형면을 분류할 수 있었으며, 이들은 오래된 것부터 高位1, 2面, 中位1, 2面, T面, 低位1, 2面으로 분류되었다. 3) 低位1面은 Carbon dating 및 花盆分析에 의하여 Early Wurm氷期에 형성된 것이 판명되었다. 4) 低位1面을 編年의 基準面으로 하고, 土壤의 土色(赤色土의 分布 여부), 礫의 風化度를 考慮하여 高位面은 Mindel氷期에, 中位面은 Riss氷期에, 低位2面은 late Wurm氷期에 對應하여 형성된 地形面으로 推定되었다. 5) 30,000年B.P.경에 加祚盆地의 植生은 Betula가 優占種이었으며, Picea도 높은 出現率을 보였다.

내열 주강 디스크의 마찰특성: 열전도도 영향 (Tribological Properties of Heat-resistant Cast Steel Discs: Effect of Thermal Conductivity)

  • The temperature-dependent tribological properties of brake discs for a train were examined in this study. The discs were produced using heat-resistant alloy steel, which showed different thermal conductivity after the heat treatments. A commercial brake friction material was used to evaluate the friction effectiveness, and the friction tests were carried out using a 1/5 scale dynamometer under various initial braking temperature conditions. The results showed that the tribological property of the disc was strongly affected by the heat treatment schedule. At low temperatures (below $250^{\circ}C$), the friction coefficient increased as a function of disc temperature, indicating that frictional heat increased the adhesion between the disc and pad. In addition, fade was observed at high temperatures (above $250^{\circ}C$); it was pronounced in the case of the disc with low thermal conductivity. The different fade resistances observed in the discs with different heat treatment schedules appear to be influenced by microstructural changes such as carbide redistribution occurring during the heat treatments, which affected the thermal conductivity.

하이테크(High-Tech) 패션의 변화 및 유형 (Variations and types of high-tech fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in high-tech fashion along with the types and characteristics of high-tech fashion that have appeared recently providing diverse material for the fashion field. High-tech fashion requires such research to learn how much distance one has in one's life. It is also meaningful to predict what direction high-tech fashion research may be needed. For research methods, previous research and literary studies were considered and photographs in which high-tech techniques were used were collected using the keyword 'high-tech fashion'. High-tech fashion types can be organized into the four types of luminescent types, mutual interaction types, 3D printing fashion, and virtual fashion. The research results were as follows. First, luminescent fashion was an important expression method of high-tech fashion. Materials for luminescent fashion first started with LED electric wire connections and many methods have been attempted with the appearance of electrically conductive clothing material, such as luminescent lasers and beam projectors. Second, interactive high-tech fashion often appears as variable fashion. The work of Hussein Chalayan, which was combined with advanced technology, set up a base for variable type interactive high-tech fashion in the 2000s. As bioengineering technology has developed, fashion that interacts with the environment without an energy source has appeared and the interaction among fashion, people, and the environment can be seen. Third, diverse forms of expressiveness in virtual reality such as 3D CLO shows a great difference with past high-tech fashion. Simple and diverse attempts made through virtual fittings reduce the limitations of time and space, permit interaction, and add a sense of reality through speed and dynamic physical beauty. Fourth, 3D printed fashion expresses complex and detailed clothing material that is different from those before with the development of computer 3D modeling technology. Modeling that can imitate geometric and bio-engineered structures is possible and mysterious feelings are passed on to people through creative expressions.

실시간 무선 센서 네트워크에서 전송 지연 감소를 위한 MAC 개선 방안 (Improvement of MAC Protocol to Reduce the Delay Latency in Real-Time Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 기존의 IEEE 802.11 DCF(Distributed Coordination Function)와 같은 전통적인 CSMA(carrier sense multiple access) 프로토콜은 네트워크 규모가 커짐에 따라서 성능의 급격한 감쇠와 전송 지연 증가를 초래한다. 이러한 문제를 효과적으로 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크에 적합한 MAC(medium access control) 프로토콜을 제안한다. 기존의 DCF 프로토콜은 데이터 전송을 위한 슬롯(slot)을 선택할 때 패킷 충돌로 인한 재전송이 반복될 때 마다 크기가 커지는 경쟁 윈도우(contention window) 내에서 일반 확률 분포(uniform probability distribution)를 이용한 랜덤(random) 선택 기법을 사용하지만 제안한 프로토콜에서는 전송 지연을 최대한 감소시키기 위하여 경쟁 윈도우의 크기를 고정시키고, 전송 슬롯을 보다 효율적으로 선택하도록 비 균등(non-uniform)확률 분포를 사용하여 전송 슬롯을 랜덤하게 선정한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 프로토콜이 802.11 MAC 표준에 비하여 전송 지연이 감소함을 보여 전송 지연에 민감한 실시간 무선 센서 네트워크의 최적 지연 한계점(best latency bound)을 충족시키는 프로토콜임을 입증한다.

  • 현실적으로 무선 네트워크의 정확한 성능 평가를 위해서는 다수의 노드들을 실제 네트워크 환경에 적용하여 노드들 간의 전송 데이터를 실시간으로 수집하여야 하는 어려움이 있다. 이러한 이유에서 공간 및 시간적인 제약사항을 극복함과 동시에 매체접근기법, 라우팅기법, 노드배치알고리즘 등과 같은 최적의 설계 방법을 찾기 위한 분석 도구가 필수적으로 요구된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 무선 네트워크 시스템을 효과적으로 시뮬레이션하기 위하여 멀티쓰레딩(multi-threading)기법을 응용한 시뮬레이션 도구의 구조와 설계방안을 제시하고 이를 구현하였다. 최종적으로 범용 네트워크 시뮬레이터인 NS2 무선 네트워크 모델에서 일반적으로 사용되는 무선 네트워크 환경 파라미터들을 구현된 시뮬레이터에 동일하게 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 이를 비교함으로써 제안된 시뮬레이터의 유용성을 입증한다.

소화기 질환을 대상으로 한 3개 한의학파의 다빈도 병증 및 처방 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on Frequent Disease Patterns and Prescriptions by Three Societies of Korean Medicine for Gastrointestinal Disease)

  • Objectives The aim of this study is to analyze the therapeutic direction and characteristics of gastrointestinal diseases by three societies of Korean medicine by comparing the frequent disease patterns and prescriptions of them. Methods The experts of the three societies of Sasang constitutional medicine, Hyungsang medicine and Sanghan-GeumGwe medicine discussed and confirmed a list of clinical data to make use for diagnosis. Then, clinical data on 200 patients suffering from gastrointestinal symptoms were collected. The each experts diagnosed appropriate disease patterns and decided prescriptions according to the method of their affiliated society. Results and Conclusions The three different societies' experts showed the similarity in the sense of categorizing disease patterns focusing on the specific physiology and pathology of the patients, while the each societies have different diagnosis systems. Treating chronic gastrointestinal patients, they treated the mental or psychological symptoms of the patients as well as their physical problems. Based on this study, it is necessary to develop a systematic and precise research model to objectively and statistically analyze the correlation of disease patterns and prescriptions by different societies.

초현실주의 표현 기법을 활용한 현대적 치파오 디자인 개발 (Development of Qipao design applied with surrealistic expression techniques)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop contemporary Qipao design that emphasized creative feminine beauty with a unique sense beyond the concept of traditional Qipao design. This would be achieved using the expressive technique of human liberation from the oppression of the unconscious world a supported by surrealism. Using existing literature and previous research, surrealist expression technique used in fashion were investigated and analyzed. The results are as follows. First, the possibility of new and original design beyond existing surrealistic Qipao design was demonstrated through various realistic surrealism expression techniques, such as dépaysement, objet, and trompe-l'œil techniques. This occurred by exploring various unconscious world out of fixed ideas and through expression techniques of surrealistic fashion such as imagery of body parts, metaphorical expression of objects, and position deformation and illusion. Second, Qipao design that combined objet and attempted ordinary escape by combining isolated body parts (such as hands, eyes, and lips) within the composition combine with surrealistic expression enabled various and fun surrealistic fashion designs to emerge. Third, the metaphor of surreal lips and eyes (mainly used in works of this study) presented a unique and extraordinary combination of images in accessories and partial design that used the dépaysement technique. Thus, it was possible to expand surrealistic expression by including LED wire.

윤곽 방향성을 고려한 적응적 영상복원 (Adaptive Image Restoration Considering the Edge Direction)

  • 움직임에 의해 흐려지고 잡음으로 훼손된 영상을 복원하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 기존의 방법들은 영상의 국부적인 특성을 고려하지 않고 영상 전체에 일률적으로 복원처리를 행함으로써 윤곽부분에서 리플잡음을 초래하고 평면부분에서도 잡음증폭을 피할 수 없다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 윤곽방향을 고려한 방향성 정칙화 연산자를 사용하여 적응적으로 처리되는 반복 정칙화 방법을 제안한다. 그것과 더불어 적응 정칙화 파라메타와 이완 파라메타를 적용하는 알고리즘도 함께 제안한다. 결론적으로, 이 방법은 기존의 방법과 비교할 때, 평면부분에서 잡음증폭을 억제하고, 시각적으로 중요한 윤곽부분의 리플잡음을 억제함으로써 윤곽부분 복원에 더욱 효율적임을 실험을 통하여 확인할 수 있었으며 또한 ISNR 면에서도 우수하였다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
