오늘날 모바일 기기를 이용한 무선인터넷의 속도와 품질이 향상되어 언제 어디서든 인터넷을 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 기존의 인터넷에서 서비스되던 지역별 맛 집, 뮤지컬 공연 검색 등 위치 검색 서비스를 이제 모바일에서도 제공 받을 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 모바일 기기의 작은 화면과 상대적으로 느린 속도는 신속하게 원하는 주변 장소를 찾아내기 어렵게 만들기 때문에 위치기반서비스와 온톨로지를 이용하여 가깝고 또 사용자가 선호도하는 추천장소를 빠르게 제공하기 위한 방법을 연구한다.

편입력 기능을 창작한 시스템의 문자입력 기능에서 사용자들의 다양한 형태의 필기문자를 인식하여 사용자의 만족을 극대화 시킬 수 잇는 고성능의 인식기를 만들기 위해서는 상황과 장소에 따라서 변하는 필기형태를 학습할 수 있는 다이나믹한 인식기 개발이 절대적으로 필요하다고 판단된다. 또한 국제 경쟁력을 갖기 위해서는 사용자의 국적(nationality)에 따라 다양한 자종을 인식할 수 잇는 기능이 있어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 사용자의 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 인식기 설계시 필요한 design issues와 philosophy를 제시하고, 이를 기초로 학습기능, 국제화, 소형화의 특징을 갖는 학습기능 다중언어(multilingual) 인식기 설계 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Human life has been inextricably linked with healing. Recently, as the demands of healing are higher, it is more necessary to study spaces, places and mobilities related to healing in geographical studies. This paper draws on a case study of urban peoples walks along Seoul City Wall to explore what healing factors affect the people walking along historical landscapes in urban center and understand geographical implications of the healing process. Based on the concept and analytical lens of 'therapeutic mobilities' introduced by Gatrell, this research analyzes texts written on 181 blogs. The results show the main factors that affect their healing are 'weather climate', 'walk stroll', and 'nightscape'. Futhermore, the blogs' narratives focusing on these main factors imply healing place-making, time as limiting factor, and the social body within nightscape in the healing process.

This study aims to analyze the placeness of Gwangju Art Street and the changing process of the street, looked through the experiences of life subjects living in this street. For this purpose, at first, history before art street was designated was traced by reviewing geographical characteristics and spatial transformation of the Art Street with the trend of Gwangju art scene and economic political situation. And then, in order to analyze the placeness of Gwangju Art Street, formation factors of placeness are extracted into physical element, behavior element and semantic element. Physical element and behavior element were analyzed through in-depth interview and data analysis for individual and microscopic historical process of life subjects being experienced in the street that is contrary to policy and plan. Finally, a semantic element was identified through questionnaire as to how people recognize current art street through a history being experienced as a venue of conflict of meaning. It is implied that bottom up place making policies that may connect context of the formation of placeness with the viewpoint of life subject in the Art Street is required to be presented now.

It was announced that 'making a better wellbeing city program' is a new core quality of life policy of Roh Mu-Hyun government. The policy is comprehended as a sign of regional policy changeover, that give empathize to human ware oriented governance from hard ware oriented physical elements input policies. To be effective, It is important to introduce a institutionalization of dynamic social relations in regional community such as participations of civil society. In the case study of Jinju city, a medium scale city located in southern part of Korean peninsular, Invitation of the innovation city, initiated by the alliance of city government and growth coalition, was making progress. Through alliance of labor unions and citizen associations, the public management of public bus companies were succeeded. But the restoration of historical places were suffered a setback by conflicts of interests with development profits. In these contexts, it is insisted that the core of 'making a better welling being city program is introducing of human ware oriented regional policies, such as institutionalization of citizen associations participation.

인터넷이 실생활과 밀접하게 연관됨에 따라, 사람들은 누구나 의지와는 크게 상관없이 자신의 아이덴티티를 인터넷으로 연결된 수많은 장소들에 노출시켜야 하는 상황에 놓이게 되었고, 이렇게 노출된 아이덴티티들을 이용하여 좀 더 많은 가치를 생산하고자하는 시도들을 경험하게 되었다. 또한 인터넷을 좀 더 안전하고 신뢰성 있는 공간으로 만들기 위한 노력으로 이용자들의 아이덴티티에 기반한 서비스 사이트들이 증가하는 추세에 있다. 이에 따라 아이덴티티 정보들을 안전하게 관리하고 유통할 수 있는 기술들이 연구되기 시작하였으며, 본 고에서 설명하는 Identity Meta system은 그러한 기술들 중 가장 최근에 등장한 기술에 속한다. Identity Meta system은 표준화된 기술들을 사용하여 다양한 ID 관리 시스템들과의 연동을 쉽게 하면서, 사용자에게 일관성있고 통제할 수 있는 ID 서비스를 제공하고자 하는 기술로, 본 고에서는 이러한 Identity Meta system 기술과 개발 현황에 대하여 살펴본다.

비형식학습의 준비된 장소이며 대표적인 비형식 과학교육 기관인 천체투영관은 세계적으로 약 3000개 이상이 설치되었으며 국내에도 약 100여 곳이 운영되고 있다. 이제 국내에서도 천체투영관의 양적 증가가 아닌 질적 향상을 위한 노력과 함께 관련 연구가 시급하다. 또한 비형식학습을 통한 대국민의 천문학 인식 제고를 위하여 천체투영관의 교육적 활용에 대한 연구 또한 필요하다. 천체투영관의 교육적 활용을 위한 연구의 기초자료를 만들기 위하여 국내 80개 천체투영관 운영자들을 전화로 인터뷰하여 천체관의 현황을 조사하였다. 1)국내 천체투영관의 연방문객은 약 200만 명, 2)디지털방식의 투영장치를 갖춘 천체투영관이 조사된 천체투영관의 약 80%, 3) 돔스크린의 크기가 10m 미만인 곳은 조사된 천체투영관의 약56%를 차지하는 것으로 조사되었다. 이번 발표에서는 조사결과와 함께 천체투영관의 교육적 활용에 대한 연구 방향을 제시해 보고 관심 있는 관계자들의 의견을 듣고자 한다.

현대의 도시재생사업은 도시의 기존 모습을 유지하면서도 낙후된 도심 환경을 개선하여 원주민의 재정착률을 높이고 쇠퇴한 구도심에 새로운 활력을 불어넣는 것을 목표로 한다. 도시재생에서 환경조형물은 이러한 시대적 요구와 그것이 놓이는 장소 혹은 공간이 가지는 의미, 공공성 또는 공익성이라는 영역에서 예술적 가치를 창출해야 한다. 이 논문에서는 마을흔적보전사업의 환경조형물을 '리사이클, 업사이클, 뉴사이클'이라는 3개 유형으로 나누어 살펴본다. 이를 통해 환경조형물이 예술적 가치뿐만 아니라 마을흔적보전이라는 사회적 역사적 문화적 가치를 담아냄으로서 도시재생이 가지고 있는 목표를 실현하는 중요한 요소가 될 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this research is to identify green roofs based on how to utilize the diverse space. This research also aims to discover the correlation between the use of the green roof and the overall level of the public's health condition, through which it is intended to grasp the health effects by means of the space of the green roof. The current use patterns of the green roof have been identified generally to have more than 60% accessibility, less than 30 minutes of short-tenn use, relaxation or removing stress, enjoy the view of the surrounding, smoking, walking and exercise. It will be highly effective to furnish facilities and plants for tree planting, and to get financial maintenance & management subsidy for the purpose of revitalizing the green roof. It is expected that if the green roof is created in educational institutes, hospitals and shopping centers, where the current level of health conditions is generally low, it will contribute in promoting the city dwellers' health benefits. In addition, the physical environmental renovation through establishing the green roof will bring about producing a healthy city because the emotional health benefits also will make a positive impact upon physical health.

This study focuses on the culture-based revitalization strategy in creative rural areas. To this end, we first summarized the concept of creative village, which has been discussed in Japan and the West. Also, based on the relationship between them, we proposed a revitalization model of creative villages through the culture and arts. In this process, the concept and relationships were examined in detail through the example of Miryang Theater Village in Miryang. In addition, this study analyzed the problems of Miryang Theater Village and applied it to the concept of creative village and suggested an alternative. Through this process, we reconsidered the meaning and possibility of cultural arts in the creative village. And, it was confirmed that the cultural arts could be realized through the balance and organic linkage between the elements of creative villages in order to localize them in combination with the regional specificity of rural areas.
