Effect of Job Embeddedness and Organization Attachment on Intention to Stay in Hospital Nurses (병원간호사의 직무배태성과 조직애착이 잔류의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to identify the effect of job embeddedness and organization attachment on the intention to stay of hospital nurses in the convergence society. The participants were 211 general hospital nurses; data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, Multiple regression. This study found that: hospital nurses showed higher score at job embeddedness, higher organization attachment, higher scores for intention to stay. The main factors influencing intention to stay were job embeddedness and organization attachment. They explained about 45% of the intention to stay. Thus, it is necessary to allocate tasks and evaluate appropriate to the nurse's ability and support individual and organizational activities that can enhance organizational attachment.

  • 본 논문에서는 병원조직에서 종사하는 진료행정직종과 간호직종을 대상으로 그들의 이직의도와 직무요인 사이의 인과관계를 통해 이직 또는 잔류의도에 영향을 미치는 동기요인과 위생요인을 분석하고, 그 결과를 근거로 이직감소 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구의 표본은 광주광역시 소재의 중소병의원에서 근무하고 있는 진료행정직종과 간호직종만을 대상으로 실시하고자 한다. 연구결과를 예측을 하면, 진료행정직종과 간호직종 사이에는 직무특성의 차이에 따른 이직의도 수준은 유의한 차이가 있을 것으로 보이며, 직무환경과 이직의도 간에 유의한 차이가 있을 것으로 예측해 볼 수 있다. 또한 두 직종의 감정노동 강도와 이직의도 사이에 통계적으로 인관관계가 존재할 것으로 예측할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가설에 대한 실증검증을 통해 진료행정직종과 간호직종에서 인지하는 직무요건 중 동기요인과 위생요인을 파악하고, 두 요인이 이직의도와 어떤 인과관계가 있는지를 분석하여 두 직종의 이직률을 낮출 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The Workplace Empowerment on Staff Nurses' Organizational Commitment and Intent to Stay (임상간호사가 지각하는 임파워먼트, 조직몰입 및 잔류의도)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the empowerment structural model based on Kanter's work empowerment theory. Method: A predictive, nonexperimental design was used in a sample of 279 nurses from 3 university affiliated hospitals. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using mean, standard deviation, pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis. Results: The results showed that the overall fitness of the hypothethical model to the data was good(chi-square=.7751, df=4, p=.942, GFI=.999, AGFI=.996, RMSEA=.000). Both formal power and informal power directly influenced on nurses' perceived empowerment level and empowerment directly influenced on nurses' organizational commitment and indirectly influenced on nurses' intent to stay. Conclusion: The results imply that hospital and nurse managers should provide the empowering working condition for nurses to be stayed in hospitals.

Differential Effects of Distributive and Procedural Justice on MICE Industrial Employee's Job Attitudes (MICE산업종사자들의 직무태도에 대한 분배 및 절차공정성의 차별적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differential effects of distributive and procedural justice on the MICE industrial employee's job attitudes. For the study, data were collected from 303 MICE industrial employees in metropolitan area by self-stated questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed by hierarchical regression technique. The result of this study showed that distributive justice had more important effects on MICE industrial employee's job satisfaction than that of procedural justice, while the procedural justice had influenced more effects on organizational commitment, intent to stay, and organizational citizenship behaviour than that of distributive justice; and that there was no the moderating role of the procedural justice to the MICE industrial employee's job satisfaction and job commitment, while the positive effects of the distributive justice was more strongly related to MICE industrial employee's intent to stay and organizational citizenship behaviour when the procedural justice was high. The theoretical implications of the findings were discussed in terms of two-factor model, cultural model and interaction model, and directions for future research were presented.

A Path Analysis for Burnout and Intent to Stay for Infection Control Nurses (감염관리간호사의 소진과 잔류의도 경로모형)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the impact of emotional labor, social support, pay satisfaction and professional concept on burnout and intention to stay for infection control nurses and to identify the relationship between burnout and intention to stay. Methods: Participants were 146 nurses who consented and faithfully responded to the research questions. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 20.0. Results: The variables affecting burnout and intention to stay in infection control nurses were identified. Emotional labor (B=.424) had a positive impact on burnout, social support (B=-.528), professional self-concept (B=-1.056) and pay satisfaction (B=-.072) had negative impacts on burnout, social support (B=.392)and pay satisfaction (B=.136) had positive impacts on intention to stay, and burnout had a negative impact on intention to stay. Conclusion: As a result, in order to reduce burnout in infection control nurses and increase their intention to stay, the infection control nurses themselves must invest in education and self-improvement to become specialists while hospitals and the government should make efforts to develop specialists by holding workshops and seminars. In addition, institutional procedures should be put in place so as to oblige hospitals to hire nurse specialists for infection control work in infection control units.

  • Consumer protection and prevention of foodborne diseases are essential elements of food safety program for every country The food safety program proposed by WHO was introduced and the importance of GAP in establishing residue limits of intentional additives in food production was emphasized. The procedures and differences in establishing maximum residue limits of pesticides on food crops by Codex Alimentarius Commission and Korea were explained. Finally, considerations in harmonization of Korean standards with Codex MRLs were suggested.

  • I. 서론 : 식생활은 인간의 가장 원초적인 욕구이며 생존을 위한 기본조건입니다. 그러므로 식생활의 기본이 되는 식품은 사람에게 가식성, 영양성, 안전성을 충족시켜야 하며 여기에 생산자의 입장에서는 높은 생산성이 요구되고 있습니다. 이러한 식품의 구비조건은 과거 자급자족의 농경시대에는 생산자가 바로 소비자로서 커다란 문제를 제기하지 않았으나 도시화, 산업화된 현대사회에서는 생산자와 소비자가 다르며 식품은 상품으로서 판매되므로 소비자는 고품질의 안전한 식품을 요구하고 생산자는 수익성이 높은 고생산성의 식품을 상품으로서 생산하기에 이르렀습니다. 축산식품이 상품으로 생산되면서 생산자들은 더 높은 생산성을 요구하게 되었고 이러한 요구에 따라 축산분야에서는 가축 품종의 육종 개량과 함께 생산성을 저해하는 각종 질병의 예방과 치료약제 및 성장촉진과 사료효율을 개산할 수 있는 물질들을 사료첨가제로 개발하여 사용하게 되었습니다. 그러나 이러나 의도적으로 사용한 물질들은 대부분 항생제물질이나 화학적 합성품들로서 가축자체는 물론 생산물에 잔류되어 그 축산물을 이용하는 사람에게 유해작용의 우려를 갖게 하였습니다(의도적 오염). 또한 농작물의 생산성을 높이기 위하여 사용되는 농약들은 경우에 따라서는 샤료곡물에 잔류되어 사료를 통한 오염원ㅇ니이 될 수도 있고 목초지에 산포한 잔류성 농약이 목초를 오염시켜 뜻하지 않게 가축과 축산물을 오염시킬 수도 있습니다. 축산분야에서 잘 알려진 아플라톡신 같은 곰팡이 독소류는 오염된 사료원료에 의하여 가축에 피해를 일으킬 수 있으며 또 우유나 축산물을 통하여 사람에 피해를 줄 수 있습니다. 과학기술의 발달은 많은 공해요인들을 유발시켰으며 산업체에서 요구하는 고순도의 중금속류(수은, 납, 카드뮴 등)는 각종의 과학기계를 제작하는데 필수소재로써 우리의 생활을 윤택하게 하였지만 그 폐기물들은 우리의 생활주변을 오염시켜 그 환경에서 자라는 식물과 동물을 오염시키고 사람의 생활환경도 위태롭게 하고 있습니다.

  • 스톡홀름협약은 잔류성유기오염물질(POPs)의 위해로부터 국민의 건강과 환경을 보호하고자 동 물질의 저감 또는 근절을 목적으로 2004. 5. 17에 발효된 국제협약이다. 현재 150 여개국이 서명, 120개국이 비준하였으며 우리나라는 2001. 10. 4 서명하였다. 이 협약의 주요 의무사항은 의도적으로 생산되는 POPs 제품의 생산,사용 금지 또는 제한하고 비의도적으로 생산되는 POPs 배출저감 또는 근절(대상물질 : 다이옥신, 퓨란, HCB, PCBs)이다.

Monitoring of Unregistered Pesticides Contaminated in the Domestic Crops Grown under Good Agricultural Practices (국내 농산물우수관리인증 농산물의 미등록농약 오염 실태 조사)

  • We inspected contaminations of pesticides in the 3,313 crop samples grown under the standard of Korean Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) between 2014 to 2016 May. According to our inspection, violations by unregistered pesticide contaminations far outweighed those by exceeding maximum residue limits. Most of the crops contaminated with unregistered pesticides were minor vegetable crops, for which far less pesticide products are registered compared to cereal grains and fruits. And in our second study, the pesticide in the sprayer was removed 90% or more, but not totally by serial rinses. From this result, it is assumed that pesticide remained in the rinsed sprayer can be carried over to crops unintentionally. Our study shows that supplying pesticide products evenly to all kinds of crops and allowing unintentional carry-over of unregistered pesticides to a certain extent are solutions to revitalize depressed Korean Good Agricultural Practices.

Affecting Factors on Intention to Stay of Nurses Working at a University Hospital (일 대학병원 간호사의 잔류의도 영향요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore professional self-concept, work environment, resilience and intention to stay for nurses in university hospitals, and to identify the relationship between these variables and factors that influence intention to stay. We aimed to provide basic data to develop measures for increasing intention to stay. Methods: This study used a descriptive design, the subjects were nurses who worked for more than 1 year at a university hospital with 744 beds, located in city C. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from 120 nurses. The data collection period were from September 15 to 30, 2020. The data were analysed using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Results: There was a positive correlation between the subject's intention to stay and the professional self-concept (r=.57, p<.001), the nursing working environment (r=.29, p=.002), and resilience (r=.50, p<.001). Significant factors influencing the subject's intention to stay was the sense of satisfaction (β=.40, p<.001), a sub-factor of professional self-concept, indicating the higher the satisfaction level, the higher the intention to stay. The regression model explained 45.0% of the variance of the outcome variable (F=9.64, p<.001). Conclusion: Sense of satisfaction was identified as a factor impacting the intention to stay. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and to apply intervention programs to improve the satisfaction of the professional self-concept in order to increase the nurses' intention to stay.
