Movement 동인(動因)과 감성변이 연구를 위한 애니메이션 분석모형

  • 본 작품은 사실적 표현, 즉 실사에 근거한 분위기의 애니메이션에 관한 관점에서 시작한다. 물론 애니메이션에서는 생략과 과장이 자유로우며 풍자적이고 은유적인 분위기를 연출하는 것이 특징이다. 즉 사실성보다는 허구적이며 과장된 표현으로 왜곡을 가함으로써 관객들에게 극적 효과를 유발한다. 하지만 관객은 사실적이지 않은 허구인 것을 알면서도 자유로운 상상력의 오락적 분위기에 흥미를 갖는다. 아울러 본 작품은 애니메이션의 동인(動因)과 감성과의 관계를 전제로 한 애니메이션의 분석모형 작품이다. 이러한 모델 설계를 통해 대상물의 본질적인 면, 즉 사실성에 근거한 표현정도에 따라 인간의 감성이 달라질 수 있다는 가정 하에 애니메이션에 있어서 프레임 수와 대상물의 단순화 정도에 따라 감성이 어떻게 반응하고 변화하는가를 웹사이트 상에서 조사할 수 있도록 분석모형을 제작하였다. 연구작품을 위해 애니메이션의 동인이라고 할 수 있는 시간, 운동, 공간 중에서 움직임 지각에 영향을 줄 수 있는 타이밍, 즉 속도문제에 대해 프레임 수와 단순화 단계를 애니메이션의 Movement 동인에 대한 조작적 정의에 독립변수로 보았다. 분석모형의 설계는 객관적인 시각에서 대상물의 움직임을 파악할 수 있는 Duration이 짧은 유형의 대상물(말)과 중간정도의 대상물(사람), 그리고 긴 유형의 대상물(거북이)을 표본으로 선정하여 각 대상물마다 4단계의 프레임으로 나누어 좌표상의 Y축에 제작 배열하였다. 한편 단순화 단계는 대상물의 사실성에 선 드로잉에 이르기까지 4단계로 구분${\cdot}$제작하여 X축에 배열하여 각 클립별 감성언어 조사를 인터넷상에서 할 수 있도록 디자인하였다. 한편 각 클립에서 보여지는 표현향식에 대해 느끼는 감성조사는 디자인 관련 감성 형용사 중에서 본 연구에 적합한 감성언어들을 골라 조사 실시하고자 한다.

  • Various digital contents generation techniques are widely utilized by upgrading PC and mobile device. In this paper, we propose sketch effect simulation based on real drawing pieces. For this, we analyze Vincent Van Gogh's drawing pieces; and then construct DB by extracting sketch stroke pattern of each object. From this database, we select stroke pattern at each object, and then, apply it. Our algorithm can generate similar effect look like real drawing piece. It may be utilized various contents such as children's painting education book.

  • We define a 'dominant emotion' as acting dominantly for unit time, and propose methodology to extract dominant emotion in a literature automatically. Due to the nature of the Korean language, it is able to be changed or reversed owns meanings as desinence. But it might be possible to extract a dominant emotion in a text has a small quantity like a fiction or an essay. A process to extract a dominant emotion in a literature is as follows. At first, extract morphemes in a whole text. And dispart words having emotional meaning as matching emotion terms database. Map disported terms to a affective circumplex model and matching it with basic emotion. Finally, analyze dominant emotion according to matched basic emotion. And we adjust our methodology to two literature; modem fiction 'A lucky day' by Jingeon, Hyun and essay 'An old man who shave a bat' by Woyoung, Yun. As a result, it was possible to grasp flows of dominant emotion.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the cliche for English-Korean interpretation and translation training with special reference to the cliche based on Shakespeare's works texts. The term of 'idioms' are generally used as figurative expressions instead of the term of 'cliche'. Thus, cliches must be reinterpreted in the lexicon that are used in useful expressions. Cliches are often idioms. Idioms are figurative phrases with an implied meaning; the phrase is not to be taken literally. This causes difficulty when translating to another language because the meaning may not be understood by people within that culture. Cliches are figurative or literal expressions and are overused expressions. Consequently, the cliches are distinguished from the idioms by the transparent meanings. This study was examined based on the cliches shown in Shakespeare's works texts. After all, anyone who wants to become an efficient English learners, interpretor and translator should be familiar with cliches. They had better use the cliche in English learning site. I hope this study will be helpful even a bit to his attempt.

  • This study examined the concept and characteristics of grotesque painting and its history and presented body painting convergence designs using paintings of each age as basic data on creative and unique body painting design. For the purpose, this study theoretically examined the concepts, characteristics and expressing techniques of grotesque and body painting, analysed images of grotesque paintings in each age and represented convergence body painting based on the results. As a result, it was discovered that paintings including grotesque paintings provided infinite imagination and diverse themes for body painting artists. It means that artistic works can work efficiently for future body painting design. Also, it is expected that they will inspire those who want to study them more academically and in an organized way and body painting will have an independent area in art.

  • The study is aimed at exploring the contents and composition of archive of works and subjects digital figures for works by Shin Saimdang, Heo Nanseolheon and Song Deokbong among female writers during the mid-Joseon Dynasty. To this end, first, to investigate and analyze the theoretical background and the preceding study by studying literature. Second, based on the reason for the character selection, the life of Shin Saimdang, Song Deokbong, and Heo Nanseolhun are analyzed. Third, the works and themes are analyzed through the writings left by Shin Saimdang, Song Deokbong, and Heo Nanseolheon, as well as by various researchers on them. Fourth, it presents the contents and composition of the archive of digital figures in works and subjects with the focus of Shin Saimdang, Song Deokbong and Henan Seolheon.

  • This study aimed to interpreting the view of current media by artificial intelligence(AI) with the case of a TV show Person of Interest, which was broadcasted until 2016 in US. In this study, we first attempted to find how AI reflects the three laws of robotics, which often appear in Science Fictions. In addition, we paid attention to how the society looks according to the change of the manipulator of the AI, and as a result we derived the distinguishes of the show from other content dealing with robots or AI in terms of narrative. Through this study, we classified the messages in accordance of AI into three categories- importance of data sovereignty, potential of intelligence explosion, and blind faith in high technology. This study suggested that the show emphasizes the consciousness and attitude that should be possessed as a citizen who meets the era of AI prior to raising issue of 'what artificial intelligence is should be developed for our convenience?'

Characteristics of can be summarized as mechanical design, realistic military mise-en-scene, and philosophical view of the world based on the bible. All works reflect the philosophy and ideology of the writer/creator, but reflects various form of ideology. Furthermore, 's ambiguous and vague plot made the fans to discuss and analyze about the work, which brought secondary marketing effect.   • In this study, we consider the evolved interactivity at the Artificial Life Art beyond 'open interactivity' as 'closed relationship' between viewer/participant and artwork by immersive and interactive features of digital media art. In order to consider this evolved interactivity, we survey the theory of artificial life of which result of many studies like biology and computational science. And then we analysed characteristics related artistic context of artificial life at the autonomy and emergent behavior of artificial life. Especially, we research the artworks of interaction with ecologies and of living in outside(not in- silico) among the artworks of officially adopting an artificial life arts in 'VIDA : Art and Artificial Life International Awards'. And we are going to understand the relationship of emotional subjects between viewer/participant and artwork, and a step further to understand the diverse relationship of symbiosis and co-evolution of the technology and human.
