무선 ATM 환경에서 이동단말기의 이동성을 지원하기 위한 핸드오버방식인 VCT 핸드오버방식은 트리개념을 도입하여 이동단말이 이동할 수 있는 구역내의 모든 기지국에 대하여 사전에 모든 연결을 설정하는 방식으로서, 신속한 핸드오버가 가능하고, 핸드오버 후에도 QoS를 쉽게 보장할 수 있다는 장점이 있으나, 망 자원의 사용면에서 비효율적인 문제점을 갖고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이동단말의 이동성을 고려하여 이동이 예상되는 셀에 대해서만 미리 자원을 예약함으로써 불필요하게 예약되는 자원의 낭비를 줄일 수 있는 방안에 대해 제시하고, 이에 대한 성능을 평가하고자 한다.

지난 몇 년 동안 컴퓨터의 처리 속도와 네트워크의 속도는 아주 빠르게 향상되고 있다. 빨라진 네트워크를 이용하여 분산된 자원들을 연결하고 하나의 시스템처럼 사용하고자 하는 노력들이 진행되고 있는데 이와 같은 것을 일반적으로 메타컴퓨팅 또는 그리드라고 부른다. 본 논문에서는 국내 주요 슈퍼컴퓨팅 자원들을 활용한 그리드 개발과 전산유체역학 프로그램을 이용한 가능성 시험을 수행하였다. 시험결과로 분산자원을 이용했을 때 네트워크의 속도에 따라 성능향상을 얻을 수 있었다.

그리드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 네트워크를 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서는 자원 최적화가 필요하며 예약은 이를 실현할 효율적인 기법으로 연구되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 그리드 자원 예약 기법에서는 그리드상의 네트워크 대역폭이 해당 시간대에 이미 예약되어 있는 경우 원하는 대역폭을 예약할 수 없기 때문에 사용자는 대역폭을 낮추어 예약 하여야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트를 이용하여 대역폭 관리 서버에서 사용자가 요구한 대역폭과 시간대를 검색한 후 자원을 예약하는 네트워크 대역폭 예약 에이전트를 제안한다. 이 기법을 이용함으로써 자원 예약을 요청하는 호스트는 대역폭을 낮추어 예약해야만 하는 경우를 줄이고 대역폭을 효율적으로 예약 하게 된다.

이동통신망에서 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 무선 자원 확보를 위해서는 매크로셀/마이크로/피코셀(macro/micro/pico cell) 구조를 통해 무선 자원을 효과적으로 재사용할 필요가 있다. 이런 구조에서는 작은 셀 반경으로 인하여 빈번히 핸드오버가 발생하게 되고 이동성 또한 시간과 장소에 따라서 다양하게 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 이동통신망의 핸드오버 상황에서, 다양한 고속 멀티미디어 서비스에 일정한 수준의 QoS (Quality of Services)를 보장하기 위한 자원할당 시의 부하 제어 방안을 제안한다.

최근 들어 이질적인 컴퓨팅 자원들을 이용하는 GRID같은 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 이는 여러 지역에 분산되어있는 고성능의 시스템들을 네트워크로 연결하여 작업을 좀더 빠르게 수행시키는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 시스템에서 작업을 수행하면 수행시간을 단축시킬 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있으나 컴퓨팅 자원들이 여러 지역에 분산되어 있고 각 자원들의 성능이 모두 다르다는 단점 또한 가지고 있다. 따라서 이러한 시스템에서 스케줄링 정책은 자원의 특성을 고려해야 한다는 문제점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 GRID 환경에서 기존의 스케줄링 알고리즘을 적용가능한지, 그리고 기존의 성능과 유사한 결과를 보이는지를 시뮬레이션을 통해 살펴보았다.

자원 제약이 있는 일정 계획 문제는 잘 알려진 NP-hard 문제이다. 이런 문제는 최적해를 구하기 어려운 경우가 많기 때문에 최적해에 근사한 값을 빠른 시간에 구할 수 있는 휴리스틱 방법을 사용한다. 최근에는 휴리스틱의 한가지 방법으로써 유전 알고리즘이 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자원 제약이 있는 일정 계획문제에 효율적인 유전 연산자를 제안한다. 이 유전 연산자는 자원 제약이 있는 일정 계획 문제에서 기존에 볼 수 없었던 강력한 상속성을 가지고 있다 이 연산자를 표준문제에 적용하여 문헌에 있는 기존의 다른 연산자 보다 우수함을 입증하였다.

각종 침해사고에 대하여 보안에 대한 관심이 높아졌고 최근 많은 기술들이 안정된 서버의 운영을 위하여 연구되었다. 하지만 이들 기술과 운영체제의 통합에 대한 연구는 미진한 상황이다. 보안기능이 강화된 운영체제인 보안운영체제는 각종 침입에 대비하여 효율성과 보안성을 가져야 한다. 이를 위해서 운영체제가 제공해야할 중요한 기능 중 하나인 자원관리는 효율성과 보안성을 모두 만족시켜야 한다. 본 고에서는 현재의 리눅스와 유닉스의 자원관리기법을 살펴보고 보안운영체제가 제공해야할 자원관리기법에 대해 고찰한다.

This paper starts with the question, what are culture and cultural resources? The meanings of cultural resources are mentioned historically and archaeologically. The culture dynamic is introduced and the cultural resources are interpreted as processes and practices along with which culture is produced and reproduced through the action of individual. Digital archiving concluds that the cultural resources are only meaningful when they are archived with their contexts and processes. Finally paper induces that cultural archives could be valuable, when they are preserved (synthetic), recognized (contextual) and enjoyed (exhibited, experienced or practically used).

Disaster has a direct influence on the lives of the people, the body, and the property. For effective and rapid disaster responses, coordination process based on sharing and utilizing disaster information is the essential requirement Disaster and safety control agencies produce and manage heterogeneous information. They also develop and use word dictionaries individually. This is a major obstacle to retrieve and access disaster and safety information in terms of practitioners. To solve this problem, standardization of lexical resources related disaster and safety is essentially required. In this paper, we conducted current status analysis about lexical resources in disaster and safety domain. Consequently, we identified the characteristics according to lexical groups. And then we proposed the utilization plan of lexical resources for disaster and safety information management.

The purpose of this study was to examine relationships among information resources use, problem solving ability, nursing information literacy competency in general hospital nurses. The descriptive correlational study design was used. The data were collected from 141 nurses working in the two general hospital located G city using self-reported questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistics 20.0 program. As results of multiple regression analysis, the factors affecting nursing information literacy competency were problem solving ability and electronic information resources use. And this model could explain 38.0%(F=43.73, p<.001). Considering the findings from this study, nurses need to develop problem solving ability and electronic information resources use improvement program for them.
