A Study on the Evaluation Method of Close-to-Nature Stream Improvement Works (자연 친화적인 하천 정비사업의 평가방법에 관한 연구)

  • In the area of such a nature-friendly stream improvement, it is not established yet which engineering method is suitable for stream environment, due to lack of technology. Therefore, although nature-friendly stream improvement was done with expensive engineering method, the effect has not been fully confirmed, which results from the absence of overall valuation tool of stream improvement. In this regard, it is necessary to develop and apply comprehensive and diverse valuation methods covering stream functions to the analysis of stream improvement. In this study, we collected data from years' of monitoring on the Gyeongcheon river, which is located in Sunchang-eup, Jeollabuk-do and recently underwent an nature-friendly stream improvement work. Based on the data, we developed a series of valuation methods such as stream naturalness evaluation, life cycle evaluation, amenity evaluation, and economic benefit analysis to consider the environmental function of stream from a comprehensive perspective. Stream naturalness evaluation is a quantitative analysis of how natural a stream is, and includes additional valuation items such as ecosystem and water quality for the purpose of overall valuation, unlike existing research focusing on physical elements and structural characteristics of a stream. We developed a method of stream valuation with life cycle assessment to river reorganization project. Amenity evaluation method was developed as a means to analyze residents' satisfaction with stream improvement through questionnaires. Economic benefit analysis was developed as a means to determine the attributes of environmental water supply, ecosystem, river maintenance, and water quality and predict economic benefits using contingent valuation method (CVM) and multi-attribute utility analysis (MAUA) method in order to analyze economic benefits brought in by stream improvement. It is considered that the four methods developed in this study make possible to conduct an overall and quantitative analysis of stream improvement.

  • The purpose is to figure out the effects of education for environmental pollution prevention through forest experiences on children's nature-friendly attitudes and scientific problem solving ability. To achieve this, an experiment was conducted on total 44 kindergarten children in a class for 5-year-olds, who are classified into experimental group of 22 children(12 male children, 10 female children) and comparative group of 22 children(13 male children, 9 female children), in a C farming village. The results are as follows. First, the change of children's nature-friendly attitudes by group showed that education for environmental pollution prevention through forest experiences had an effect on the improvement of children's nature-friendly attitudes. Second, the change of children's scientific problem solving ability by group showed that education for environmental pollution prevention through forest experiences had an effect on the improvement of children's scientific problem solving ability. This implies that children's forest activities are useful in improving their nature-friendly attitudes and scientific problem solving ability.

  • The purpose of this study was how a nature-friendly fingertips play program with nature affected the development of small muscle functions and creative thinking abilities of young children. The subjects of this study were 28 five year old children. Fourteen of them were from H preschool and the other fourteen were from P preschool in the city of B. The research 'evaluation tool for small muscle motor function development' by Byung Dong Kang(2002) was used to measure the small muscle motor functions of preschool students. The Korean version standardized by Young Chae Kim(2004) was used to measure the development of creative thinking abilities. The study arrived at the following results. First, the nature-friendly fingertips play program affected positively to the development of entire small muscle functions, accuracy, rapidness, and stability for young children. Second, the nature-friendly fingertips play program affected positively to the entire creative thinking abilities, fluency, and resistance to the early conclusion. In conclusion, the nature- friendly fingertips play program affected positively to the development of small motor functions and creative thinking abilities.

  • 현대에는 다양한 조명기구들로 불이 흔한 시대가 되었지만, 예전에는 불이 귀해 자연에서 얻은 재료로 불을 밝히곤 하였다. 자연에서 나와 다시 자연으로 돌아가면서 불을 밝혔던 고콜불과 등경돌을 돌아보며 '불' 의 의미에 대해 다시금 생각해 볼 일이다.

  • 현재 대부분의 직할 하천은 인공적인 콘크리트와 보도블럭으로 제방이 이루어진 직강하천으로서 생태적으로 하천의 제 기능을 발취하기 어렵다. 이에 하천의 생태 환경을 복원하고자 전라북도 순창군의 경천을 시범구간으로 설정하여 2000년부터 1년간 자연친화적 하천정비사업을 시행하였다. 이때 경천의 자연친화적 하천정비 사업시 적용된 몇가지 상이한 토목공법(환경부, 2002)이 어류의 생태에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 3개년(2000∼2002)간 하천수변의 국세조사 매뉴얼-하천판(생물조사편)(건설기술연구원, 2002)에 준하여 수행한 수변조사 및 모니터링 결과를 분석 생명과학분야의 하천생태와 토목공학분야의 공법적용의 밀접한 관계를 확인하여 보고자 한다.   • 자연 친화적 하천관리는 현 치수위주의 하천정비 관행으로 인한 하천의 환경 기능의 훼손을 막고, 제도적으로 자연 친화적으로 하천 사업을 추진하기 위해서 수변조사, 계획, 설계, 시공, 모니터링, 그리고 유지관리 등 일련의 체계적인 절차에 따라 하천 사업을 시행하는 것이다. 특히 이러한 표준 절차 가운데 수변조사는 하천의 특성을 결정짓는 여러 가지 자연적, 인공적 형성과정들과 그 과정들을 지배하는 생태학적 원리들을 파악하여 하천사업의 정비주제와 방향을 설정하는데 도움을 준다. 모니터링은 계획과 설계, 시공을 통해 실시된 하천사업의 효과를 평가하고, 공법적용에 따른 하천의 변화과정을 파악하여 유지관리 및 적응관리를 위한 근거를 제시하는 과정이다. 수변조사 및 모니터링 매뉴얼은 건설교통부가 수행한 '자연친화적 하천정비기법 개발' 의 연구성과로서, 경기도의 탄천, 충청북도의 달천 그리고 경기도 오산천을 대상으로 각 관련분야의 전문가가 참여하여 직접 적용$\cdot$검증한 결과를 바탕으로 제작한 것이다. 이는 하천의 관리 및 하천관련 사업을 자연 친화적으로 수행하기 위하여 필요한 '수변조사'와 '모니터링'에 대한 일반적인 절차와 방법을 체계화 한 것이다. 특히 수변조사 매뉴얼의 경우는 $\ulcorner$하천설계기준$\lrcorner$의 '제12장 하천환경조사'를 보완하는 관계에 있다. 하천설계기준에서 제시한 하천환경조사는 본 수변조사 매뉴얼상과 동일한 절차와 양식을 따르고 있다. 하천설계기준에서 자세하게 기술하지 못한 조사방법, 정리, 분석, 평가에 대한 내용을 구체적으로 적용하여 이를 보완하고 있다.은 안양천 웹페이지(http://anyang.river.or.kr)에서 구현되고 있으며, 앞서 설명한 바와 같이 1단계 프론티어 사업으로 설치된 4개의 하천수위, 2개의 지하수위 관측시설과 함께, 2단계에 (주)웹솔루스에서 자체적으로 설치 운영하고 있는 2개소의 하수관거 모니터링 관측시설, 그리고 안양시에서 운영하고 있는 5개소의 강우관측소와 7개소의 수위관측소를 모두 통합하여 실시간 자료를 제공하고 있다. 수위자료는 10분단위의 텍스트정보와 그래프형태로 지원되며, 검색기간 설정을 통해 원하는 기간내의 자료를 선별, 검색할 수 있다.. 또한 이와 같은 기초적인 정보를 바탕으로 하류하천의 탁수 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 선택취수탑의 운영방안을 수립할 수 있다 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 선택취수탑 주위의 성층흐름을 기존의 실험자료와 수치해석을 통하여 분석하였고, 온도성층구조나 취수구의 위치변화에 따른 방류수 수질특성을 조사하였다.쇄파대(artifical reef)와 같은 완충지대를 갖는 호안을 축조함으로써 월파량을 감소시키는 대안으로 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구 수행을 통해 태풍 내습시 발생 가능한 자연재해에 대한 사전 방지를 목적으로 태풍피해의 원인을 제시하고 이를 해결하여 현재의 방재대책이 항구적인 방재대책으로 전환될 수 있는 방안 마련의 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다., L-arabinose, 및 D-galactose; 제3차(第三次) 가수분해물(加水分解物)(C)에서 L-rhamnose, D-xylose, L-arabinose 및 D-galactose, 비가수분해물(非加水分解物)(C')에서 D-xylose와 D-galactose를 검출(檢出)하였다. The Effect of Natural Disaster Safety Education on Young Children's Safety Problem-solving Abilities and Eco-friendly Attitudes (자연재해 안전교육이 유아의 안전문제해결사고 및 환경 친화적 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective: In this study, educational activities were organized to emphasize the importance of natural disaster safety education by reflecting the recent rapid increases in natural disasters. The study focused on story-sharing, art, and game activities to effectively conduct natural disaster safety education for four-year-old children, and in doing so, aimed to improve the children's safety problem-solving abilities and eco-friendly attitude. Methods: Based on the types of natural disasters that are handled by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security and the Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education, earthquakes, yellow dust, heat waves, floods, typhoons, bolts of lighting, fires, snowstorms, and global warming were included as the study's educational contents, and a total 20 sessions of natural disaster safety education activities were planned. For the subjects, 20 four-year-old children at K Kindergarten attached to a school were selected as an experimental group and 20 four-year-old children at N Kindergarten attached to a school were selected as a control group. Both kindergartens were located in C City, Chungcheongbuk-do. The experimental group was instructed to perform the study's education activities, whereas the control group only carried out general activities based on the Nuri Curriculum's subjects of daily life. Results: As a result, the children in the experimental group, who received the natural disaster safety education, improved their safety problem-solving abilities and eco-friendly attitude when compared to those in the control group. This outcome proved that the natural disaster safety education conducted by the present study offers educational activities that can positively affect improvements in children's safety problem-solving abilities and eco-friendly attitude. Conclusion/Implications: Therefore, the present study is likely to provide concrete information to teachers who plan to conduct natural disaster safety education in the actual early childhood education field.

Toddlers' Experience World through Play in the Nature-Friendly Outdoor Environment (자연친화적 실외 환경 놀이에서의 영아의 경험 세계)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine toddlers' experienced world, which was shown in a play of the nature-friendly outdoor environment. Through this, the aim was to offer an opportunity of trying to seek a plan for activation in the nature-friendly outdoor play as for toddlers. This study targeted 9 toddlers between 22 months and 33 months who are attending S child care center where is located in Busan Metropolitan City, and was progressed with qualitative research method available for examining the in-depth significance of the phenomenon. A method of data collection was carried out the participatory observation and the in-depth interview. As a result of the study, the toddlers play experience in nature friendly outdoor environment provided special and various experience that can be limited in indoor at daycare center. First, toddlers were experiencing 'exploratory world of making a sense awakened.' Second, toddlers were experiencing 'communicative world of making emotion awakened.' Finally, on the early childhood education and the child-care education, a plan of offering enough time will need to be pursued now that toddlers can experience a play by being deeply immersed in nature, which is the space of free communication and the living sensational space, with escaping from the existing frame.

Potential Effects of Nature-friendly Hill Climb Sportsmen's Participatory Motivation and Commitment Experience upon Their Sense of Self-achievement and Living Satisfaction (자연친화적 힐클라임 스포츠 참가자의 참가동기가 몰입경험, 자아성취감, 생활만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine potential effects of nature- friendly hill climb sportsmen's participatory motivation and commitment experience on their sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. To meet the goal, this study surveyed total 206 participants (male and female) in hill climb tournaments held at Daegwallyeong and Misiryeong, Gangwon province. For data processing, this study used SPSS 14.0 and amos 7.0 to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, descriptive statistic analysis and structural equation model analysis respectively. As a result, this study could come to the following conclusions: First, according to descriptive statistic analysis, it was found that our respondents who participated in nature-friendly hill climb sports scored relatively high points in their participatory motivation, commitment experience, sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. Secondly, this study adopted Pearson's moment correlation analysis in order to determine potential associations among our respondents' participatory motivation, commitment experience, sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. As a result, it was found that their participatory motivation was positively correlated with their living satisfaction, while their commitment experience was positively correlated with their sense of self-achievement. Thirdly, it was found that there were certain causalities among our respondents' participatory motivation, living satisfaction, commitment experience and sense of self-achievement.

  • 국토해양부가 주최하고 우리협회가 주관하는 "제5회 자연친화적 하천관리 연찬회"가 전국의 하천관리 공무원 등 총 1,150명이 참가한 가운데 2009. 4. 27(월)$\sim$4. 30(목)까지 2차에 걸쳐 대전컨벤션센터(대전광역시 유성구 도룡동 소재)에서 성황리에 개최되었다. 올해로 다섯 번째를 맞이한 연찬회 행사는 그간 우리의 생명줄인 하천을 친환경적인 모습으로 바꾸는 데 일조해 왔으며, 쾌적한 환경과 삶의 질 향상에 대한 국민의 요구를 반영하여 참여적이고 혁신적인 정책방향을 선도하였다.
