The relationship between perceived Social support, Self-concept and Ego-resilience of middle-school students (중학생이 지각하는 사회적 지지, 자아개념과 자아탄력성과의 관계)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationship among Social support, Self-concept and Ego-resilience as perceived by middle-school students. A survey was conducted to 699 middle school students who live in Seoul area. The results showed significant correlations among social support, Self-concept and Ego-resilience. Most importantly, the variable of Self-concept was stronger predictor for Ego-resilence than Social support.

The Effects of College Students' Emotional Expressiveness on their Smart Phone Addiction : The Mediating Effects of Self Concept (정서표현이 스마트폰중독에 미치는 영향 -자아개념의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the Emotional Expressiveness, Smartphone Addiction, and Self Concept of college students and investigate whether the Self Concept mediate the relationship between the Emotional Expressiveness and Smartphone Addiction. The subjects of this study are 175 college students of 3 colleges located in M-si, J-si and G-si and data collecte for 21 days from June 1 through June 21, 2017. As Emotional Expressiveness increase, Self Concept increase (${\beta}=.286$, p<.01); as their Self Concept increase, their Smartphone Addiction decrease (${\beta}=-.269$, p<.05); and their Self Concept full mediate the relationship between their Emotional Expressiveness and Smartphone Addiction(Z=3.447, p<.01). To alleviate the Smartphone Addiction college students, their Emotional Expressiveness and their Self Concept need to be improved.

과학영재 중학생에서의 진로유형과 자아개념의 상관 연구

  • 본 연구는 현재까지 밝혀진 영재성의 구성요인으로서 지적 능력, 창의성, 과제집착력, 대인관계, 정신운동성, 음악적 능력등과 같은 내적, 외적 요인 이외의 요인으로서의 영재의 진로유형고 자아개념을 설명하고, 이 두 개의 요인의 상관관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 일반 중학교 74명과 과학영재교육원에서 수강중인 중학생 58명을 대상으로 Holland 진로탐색검사와 성신자기개념검사를 사용하여 과학영재 중학생과 일반 중학생의 진로유형과 자아개념을 비교하였다. 연구결과, 과학영재들의 진로유형은 주로 탐구형이 나타났으며, 자아개념은 일반 중학생에 비해 모든 하위차원이 높게 나타났다. 영재의 진로유형과 자아개념의 하위차원간의 상관에서는 자아존중감에서만 유의미한 관계를 찾아내었다. 본 연구는 영재의 자아개념과 진로유형이 영재성이 특성을 설명하는 요인으로는 설명이 부족하지만, 각각의 요인을 영재성의 한 단편 요인으로 설명하고자 하였다.

The Relationship between Self-Concept and Teacher Efficacy of Nursing Teachers (보육교사의 자아개념과 교사효능감 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the self-concept of nursing teachers and teacher efficacy and to determine differences in the level of self-concept of nursing teachers. The research results were as follows. Firstly, the relationship between the self-concept of nursing teachers and teachers efficacy showed that there was a positive correlation between self-concept and general/individual teacher efficacy. Secondly, the observation results on the variations of the teacher efficacy depending on the level of the self-concept of nursing teachers noted the positive correlations and general-, individual teacher efficacy. Self-concept showed a higher correlation with individual teacher efficacy than general teacher efficacy. In summary, the research confirmed the definite correlation between the self-concept of teachers and teacher efficacy.

Self-Concept and Career Development of Children from Multi-cultural Families and General Families (다문화가정과 일반가정 초등학생의 자아개념과 진로발달*)

  • The subjects of this study were 180 elementary school students from multi-cultural families and general families. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in self-concept and career development within two groups and the correlations between self-concept and career development. Also, it was to investigate the self-concept's effects on career development. The results were as follows: First, the children from general families showed higher academic-occupational exploration than those in multi-cultural families. Second, the self-concept had significant correlations with career development in both groups. And there were stronger correlations in children from multi-cultural families. Third, the regression analyses of two groups showed that academic self-concept had significant effects on career development in both groups, but there were higher effects in children from multi-cultural families.

Validation of the Motivational Self-Concept Rating Scale for Child Care Teachers (보육교사를 대상으로 한 동기부여적 자아개념척도 타당화 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to redefine and validate the motivational self-concept for child-care teachers. Based on related researches, items were remodified to be good enough to use for studying child-care teachers' motivational self-concept. Redefined items were analysed by factor analysis and validated by use of child-care teachers' professional recognition and their ego-resiliency. Researchers have garnered data from 321 child care teachers as convenience samples who are engaged in child care centers in Seoul and Kyunggi province by using questionnaire research methods. We have eliminated questions that are .40 below communality, questions by conducting exploratory factor analysis. As a result, 6 factors and 23 items were selected; 6 factors have indicated that it explained 77.12% of total variate motivational self-concept rating scale and ${\alpha}$ of Cronbach that of total items indicated acceptable level. After examining relevancy of child-care teachers' professional recognition and ego-resiliency to verify compliant feasibility of the motivational self-concept rating scale, the relation between motivational self-concept and professional recognition was .604(p<0.001) indicating significant static correlation and the relation between motivational self-concept and ego-resiliency was 4.456(p<0.01) indicating significant static correlation. Through this result, it is verified that motivational self-concept rating scale has compliant feasibility in professional recognition and ego-resiliency.

Relationship of Perception of Clinical Ladder System with Professional Self-Concept and Empowerment based on Nurses' Clinical Career Stage (간호사의 임상경력단계에 따른 경력개발제도 인식과 전문직 자아개념, 임파워먼트와의 관계)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 간호사의 임상경력단계에 따른 경력개발제도에 대한 간호사의 인식을 파악하고, 경력개발제도에 대한 인식, 전문직 자아개념과 임파워먼트와의 관계를 파악하여 간호사 경력개발제도의 개선의 근거 마련하고 전문직 자아개념과 임파워먼트의 증대 방안 모색을 통한 인적자원관리에 기여하고자 시도 된 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구방법: 서울시 소재 일 상급종합병원에서 근무하는 중환자실, 수술실, 응급실 간호사 162명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 경력개발제도에 대한 인식, 전문직 자아개념, 임파워먼트를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0 프로그램을 활용하여 서술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Multiple linear Regression을 시행하였다. 연구결과: 간호사의 임상경력단계에 따른 경력개발제도에 대한 인식은 전임 2 간호사가 신입 간호사, 일반 간호사, 전임 1 간호사보다 높은 인식을 가지고 있었다. 경력개발제도에 대한 인식과 전문직 자아개념, 임파워먼트에는 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 경력개발제도에 대한 전반적 이해, 경력개발제도에 대한 기대효과, 최종학력, 임상경력단계가 전문직 자아개념의 42% 설명하는 것으로 나타났고, 경력개발제도에 대한 전반적 이해, 전문적 활동 참여에 대한 인식, 경력개발제도에 대한 기대효과, 임상경력단계가 임파워먼트를 42% 설명하였다. 결론: 전문직 자아개념과 임파워먼트에 영향을 미친 변수로 나타난 경력개발제도에 대한 인식을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 개발하여 적용을 통한 효과 검증이 요구되며, 간호 관리자들의 제도 운영과 관련된 장애요인의 파악 및 세심한 제도 개선이 필요하다.

The Effects of Rehabilitation Hospital Nurses' Professional Autonomy and Self-Efficacy on Professional Self-Concept (재활전문병원 간호사의 전문직 자율성과 자기효능감이 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향요인)

  • The aim of this descriptive correlation research was determine the factors affecting the professional self-concept of nurses working at rehabilitation hospitals. The data were collected from 192 nurses working at three rehabilitation hospitals with less than 300 beds in B City and at two in D City from May 1 to 30, 2015, and then analyzed using the SPSS Win 18.0 program. They scored 3.03 for professional autonomy, 3.43 for self-efficacy, and 3.25 for professional self-concept on average; professional autonomy was positively correlated with the professional self-concept and self-efficacy was strongly positively correlated with the professional self-concept. The professional self-concept generally accounted for 46.9% and the self-efficacy had the greatest impact on the professional self-concept, accounting for 33%. Based on these results, it is necessary to help rehabilitation hospital nurses improve their self-efficacy and develop standardized professional education programs to give them pride and dignity.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine that major satisfaction and college adjustment effect the professional self-concept in nursing students. The data were collected from 154 nursing students at U city and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression. As a result of this study, major satisfaction and college adjustment of nursing students showed a positive relation with professional self-concept, and major satisfaction and college adjustment were the factors that affected the professional self-concept in nursing students. Therefore, it is necessary to make and apply the programs to enhance the professional self-concept for the nursing students. and supports are required to increase major satisfaction and college adjustment.
