The purpose of this article is twofold; first, investigates the relations between the cyber deviant behaviors and the reasons it causes in details and second discuss the measure to prevent cyber deviant behaviors and its recurrence. The findings of the study are; First, the factors which influence more to the cyber deviant behaviors are subjective norm, social identity, and self-control in a row. Second, identified such factors, anonymity (+), consciousness on public order (+), learning experience on information norms (-), and social identity have influences on the subjective norm that both factors of internet addiction (+) and anonymity (+) have significant impacts on self-control in negative perspectives. In conclusion, to prevent cyber deviant behaviors will provide a lot of opportunities to develop self-reflections and critical thinking and the ethics of accountability, and ability of sympathy. This study suggests the so-called reflexive practice-oriented process of education on Information as a strategic teaching-learning procedure. The process framework consists of four stages including problem identification, risk analysis, self-reflexive, and practice & evaluation that have a spiral structure, repeats a life-cycle.
The present research aimed at investigating the impacts of volunteer activities on self-development and sociability-development. In study 1, the scale comprised of 15 items was developed to measure the meaningfulness of volunteer activities. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted on the data obtained from 428 undergraduates (193 males and 235 females). A confirmatory factor analysis was then conducted on the data obtained from 280 undergraduates (124 males and 156 females). In study 2, the impacts of volunteer activities on 947 undergraduates (461 males and 486 females) were analyzed in terms of self-development and sociability-development. Self-development consisted of self-evaluation, self-esteem, and quality of life. Sociability-development consisted of pother-acceptances, sense of community, and democratic citizenship. The results showed that not more volunteer activities itself but more meaningfulness of those activities had stronger relations with self-development and sociability-development. Finally, a values of the undergraduates internalized for volunteer activities and their levels of self-development and sociability-development expectation were discussed.
The oracle of the I Ching, divination can be understood as 'synchronicity phenomenon' in analytic psychology. In order to experience divination actually, it requires a religious attitude that asks questions with a serious mind when a person is in trouble that consciousness reaches its limit. It is not just a passive attitude, but a modest, active attitude to ask what I can do now. The experience of the oracle of the I Ching connected to supra-consciousness is similar to 'active imagination'-talking with the archetype of collective unconsciousness-and is 'the process of finding the rhythm of Self-archetype, the absolute wisdom of unconsciousness.' One month before my father's death, I took care of him who couldn't communicate verbally and I divination with a question 'What can I do for my father and me now?' The I Ching's answer was hexagram 19 Lin 臨, nine at the beginning. It's message was '咸臨貞吉 joint approach. perseverance brings good fortune.' 志行正也 we must adhere perseveringly to what is right.' Through this phrase, I learned the attitude of waiting for life after death as if 'joyful obedient' to the providence of nature that spring comes after winter. And I found that keeping the touching emotion of meeting infinity (in analytical psychological terms, 'Self') with perseveration is to do the true meaning of life beyond popular money-mindedness. And six months before my father's death, I had a dream about the afterlife. In the process of interpreting that dream, I learned not only from the shock of the direct message that 'it is a truth that there is something after death,' but also the regeneration of the mind through introversion from the similarity between the closed ward and '黃泉'-chinese underworld through amplification. And I learned the importance of an open attitude to accept new things through the 'window to eternity' symbolized by the white iron gate. In my father's catholic funeral ritual, I had hope that the catholic doctrine 'Communio Sanctorum'-A spiral cycle in which the living and the dead help each other may be real as well as a symbol of the individuation process in which consciousness and unconsciousness interact in our minds. Through the consolation received through the funeral visit of many people I met in my life, I found the answer that the path to contact with infinity begins with loving the beings in front of me. I tried to understand this continuous experience by the perspective of analytical psychology.
The purpose of the present study is to explore the career development barriers of female doctoral degree holders in education. The study occupied in-depth interview with 42 female doctoral degree holders in education. The results were as followed; First, academic advisor highly influenced the career development female doctoral degree holders through their academic activities. Second, they had experiences regarding glass ceiling effect in workplace. Third, marriage was a critical issue for both of the married and single female doctoral degree holders. Fourth, family and relatives' support positively impact on their career will, and also their strong career goal was beneficial way to break their career barriers. Also, the study suggested contextural factor was very significant on career behavior of female doctoral degree holders. Therefore, policy maker, scholars, and students should have strong attention to female students' career guidance and development in various way. The results of the study discussed in relation to the existing literature, with reference to women's career development and career barriers, and then implication for the future research were suggested.
This study was carried out to identify how a middle-aged woman's consciousness of the death and self-esteem was affected by whether the hospice volunteer's experience exist or not. As a form of descriptive research, this study, which is based on a structured questionnaire intended for the 191 middle aged women doing volunteer work at the non-profit women's organization, had been conducted twice from May 10, 2010, to May 21, 2010. The results of my research work is followed ; First, a middle-aged woman's consciousness of the death and self-esteem showed significant differences depending on whether the hospice volunteer's experience exist or not. Experienced hospice volunteer group showed a lower consciousness of the death and a higher self-esteem compared to non-experienced hospice volunteer group's case. Second, in case that the results show a high self-esteem, the consciousness of death reach at the low stage. Especially, the experienced hospice volunteer group showed an opposite correlation compared to non-experienced group. Third, Anyone's consciousness of death appeared at a low level when she had a religion and higher education background. Anyone's self-esteem oriented sense appeared at low level when she didn't have religion but rather appeared at high level when the health status of the targeted group was in a good shape. As a result, the hospice volunteer activities can be assumed to increase the middle-aged woman's self-esteem, therefore, turn the consciousness of death into a positive attitude.
Cultural heritage means a great lot to a nation's social system and its people's behavior consciousness and plays an important role in its self-development and improvement. It is essential for a nation's self-education and renewal. Improper cultural heritage will be disastrous because it may fall a nation into a loss of terrible chaos. Only the proper cultural heritage can make it always self-awaking, self-correcting and remaining vital in life. This paper, from the perspective of Choi Bu's Pyohaerok, makes a thorough analysis of the unbalance heritage of Chinese ancient culture for thousands of years. For example, many fine traditions gradually vanished in our actual life or only take half their life in heritage nowadays, such as our ancient broad and profound Confucian etiquette, ancient exquisite brocade art and architecture, ancient advanced ship-building technology and many other advanced numerous technological inventions; however, too much unwanted cultural rubbish keeps constant prevailing and takes repeated successions in the life, such as the heavy-form-and-light-content management mode, borrowing power to do evil, neglecting technological inventions long time and generally believing in ghost theory,etc.. This paper mainly focuses on the partial successions of the bad cultural heritage and its bad influence on the country, and concludes that it is just that that makes the country more and more backward. Therefore, the paper makes some pondering over these issues and proposes some related ideas of country-building to attract others participation to deal with them.
The latest society is very quickly changing so that it is placed in difficult life of not only the non-disabled people but also disabled people. The demand on welfare of the disabled people is continually increasing by the increasing in population of the disabled people by the expansion of the disabled realm and changing of family structure. The changing about the concept of the disabled, the spreading about the independence life, expecially the expanding about the awareness of the disabled human right, and the circumstance and the paradigm of the surrounded by the disabled welfare is rapidly changing. The right to work is related to the living, and is the important part of value endowment in the social participation and the self-realization, and is the core of the independence life. Therefore, this study is researched into the desire for work of the severely-disabled people in Cheong-ju City and their actual condition, so I present the desire of severely-disabled people and the suitable creation of the employment in Cheong-ju City, and the plan of the expansion of the disabled employment opportunity in my study.
As recent domestic cosmetics market has grown rapidly, many people have become interested in skin care. Therefore, this study aims at examining the job satisfaction of experts currently working in beauty industry by conducting a survey on the job esteem and satisfaction of estheticians who are the major professional group in skin care related occupations. The survey was carried out targeting at 289 current estheticians in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and as a result, most of the respondents showed a high level of job esteem (M=3.81). However, there was a significant difference in 'fair treatment' by male and female, and 'relative superiority' by educational background (p<.o1). The job satisfaction showed a high satisfaction as M=3.34 and there were significant differences in working hours, positions and salaries. As the level of self-esteem and job esteem became higher, job satisfaction on occupational consciousness increased. Therefore, it is judged that improving social awareness that evaluates job values and having positive values for one's job will help improve the job performance by enhancing the job satisfaction of estheticians.
Animations characterize space as a strategy to effectively show the inner conflicts of characters and to highlight the theme. During the process of inner conflict, characters unconsciously use defense mechanism to protect their egos from the fear that came from deficiency, and because of the self-deceptive quality of self-defense mechanism, the reality is distorted and conflicts get intensified. This study focuses on the concept of anti-house, the space where conflicts get intensified, analyzes animations to find out the aspect of inner conflict, and interprets the characteristic of space that is used for metaphoric structure frame. Also, it aims to reveal how the defense mechanism, which intensifies the inner conflict of characters, is characterized as anti-house. The analysis in this study was mainly done with the TV series, , and the theater version of . It is because the characters have serious deficiency from broken home and have a psychological quality of closed boundary that is symbolized as 'A.T. field'. Especially, the core character, 'Shinji Ikari', shows how a character uses compulsive self-defense mechanism to deal with inner conflict and as a result, goes through ego-collapse and then introspection. This process of the character's experience is the core of the whole plot. Through analysis, the relationship between the character's self-defense mechanism and the space, anti-house(which expands to Anti-city), was inferred. The space is made up of three axes, x-axis of horizontal space, y-axis of vertical space, and in the sense that all the space has no exit, z-axis of deeper contradictory space. This thesis started with the decision that is the most suitable work in analyzing the metaphorical relationship between self-defense mechanism and anti-house. There was limitation, however, as the typical characteristics of Japanese animations, pedantic composition and the possibility of broad interpretation, hindered clear verification. Hopefully, this limitation will be overcome by following studies and this study is expected to show the importance of space in interpreting the text of animations, and to serve as database for other creative works.
This study assumes that the perception of the ex-prisoner's against stigma will affect trust in interpersonal relationship. Prior studies have suggested that there is a stigma at the base of the awareness where people avoid and discriminate against ex-prisoner's. This in turn affects ex-prisoner's' recividicism, but there is no study about ex-prisoner's perception of stigma in Korea. Although stigma can be explained in numerous ways, this study is based on the opinion of Phillips(2016), which divides the subscale of stigma as perceived public stigma, perceived personnel stigma, and self stigma. He insisted that ex-prisoner's believe perceived public stigma higher than self-stigma. these results are consistent with this study. However, it is important to note that although ex-prisoner's are more aware of public stigma than self-stigma, they are actually more influenced by self stigma in pereonal relationships. This means that ex-prisoner's are more susceptible to internal psychological awareness than external social recognition. Therefore, the development and intervention of the program to overcome the internal self-stigma of the released prisoner is required. In this study, first, stigma, especially self-stigma turned out to have influence on the interpersonal trust. Therefore, as self-stigma level increased, the interpersonal trust decreased in most cases. Second, it was shown that stigma has the greatest influence on children out of family members, co-workers out of social relationship, self trust out of general relationship in. This confirms that stigma is a factor that greatly influences relationship between important people for ex-prisoner's. Third, since self-sigma negatively reestablish self-identity, make individuals recognize themselves as deviators and show bad lifestyle, which lead them to become habitual offender, ex-prisoner's need to make efforts to overcome self-stigma, and development and intervention of program that can make ex-prisoner's have positive self identity is requested. Fourth, although participants in the study were only male, it seems that there is difference in recognition of stigma by gender, and influence of stigma not only on interpersonal relationships, but also on social reintegration and recidivism imply that these might be good future research topics.
