The Study on the Estimation of Optimal Debt Ratio in Korean Agricultural Corporations (한국 농업법인의 적정부채비율 추정을 위한 실증연구)

  • This study employs an analytical mathematical model to estimate the optimal debt ratio of Korean agricultural corporations, more sensitive to the government debt ratio policy compared to other industries, and the estimation of the optimal debt ratio based on objective data. The analytical model utilizes the equation for ROE, with the debt ratio as an independent variable, and related parameters include ROS, TAT, and NFCL. Regarding the NFCL, the optimal debt ratio standard is defined as the debt ratio that maximizes the ROE by analytical procedures such as adding an equation concerning the debt ratio and a linearity relationship to the analytical model, and from these equations, a quadratic equation with the debt ratio as an independent variable describes the ROE. This methodemploys fourteen years of corporate data. Results show that 138% of debt ratio is the optimal debt ratio to increase the ROE of the corporations, which implies that the existing debt ratio of Korean agricultural corporations is higher than optimal. Consequently, it is required for authorities to change future debt ratio policies in view that the purpose of debt ratio management is to maintain safety and increase profitability.Management should emphasize characteristics of the specific industry rather than standardized judgements based on numerical indexes.

Road O&M Cost Prediction Model with the Integration of the Impacts of Climate Change using Binomial Tree Model (기후변화 영향을 고려한 도로시설 유지관리 비용변동성 예측 이항분석모델)

  • Due to the increasing trend of operation and maintenance cost (O&M cost) of infrastructure, the accurate estimation of O&M cost is crucial part to the government. Recent literatures pointed out that gradual climate changes such as average temperature changes, average precipitation changes, and etc. have significant impact on infrastructure O&M cost. This research is intended to develop a long-term O&M cost prediction model of road facilities by considering the impacts of average temperature changes. For this end, the climate change scenarios of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)'s $5^{th}$ report are adopted to structure the impact of average temperature changes by using binomial lattice model. The proposed framework is expected to regional government in supporting decisions for road O&M cost.

An Analyzing the Cost-Saving Effect of R&D Investment: Focusing on the ICT Industry (연구개발투자에 따른 비용저감 효과 분석: ICT산업을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the cost-saving effect of R&D investment in the ICT industry. As is well known, the R&D investment induces both the product innovation and the process innovation, in turn leads the effect of creating profit and cutting cost. However, it appears that studies concerned with the cost-saving effect of R&D investment have been unproductive, while most existing studies concentrate on the topic involved with the creating profit of R&D investment. Therefore, we extend the effect of R&D investment to a framework of the cost-saving focusing on the ICT industry. To empirically analyze the effect, we built a simultaneous three-equation model comprising a translog cost function and two cost share equations, and employed the SUR analysis. As a result, we found out that the cost-saving effect on the total cost is statistically significant. In addition, we examined relationships between the R&D investment and each cost of production elements. The results show that on the one hand, the R&D investment and the intermediate good cost have the substitution relationship. On the other hand, the complementary relationship is observed between the R&D investment and each labor or capital cost.

한국 제조업의 용수(用水)에 대한 적정가격 설정 - 수요관리 정책을 중심으로 -

  • 물부족현상을 해결하기 위해서는 장기적인 공급기반시설의 확충과 함께 여러 형태의 경제적 유인제도의 활용을 통한 수요관리정책을 병행함으로써 물의 절약효과를 최대화시키는 것이 바람직하다. 본 연구에서는 1993년 한국 제조업을 대상으로 시장구조적, 환경적 제약여건하에서 공업용수의 비효율적인 사용실태를 알아보고 적정수준의 용수수요량을 유도하기 위하여 용수가격의 인상을 추진할 경우, 이에 필요한 가격인상율을 제시한다. 방법론적으로는 적정수준의 자본투입을 가정한 제약일반비용함수를 추정한다. 추정결과, 공업용수는 적정수준에 비해 무려 평균 50배 이상 과다하게 사용되고 있으며 1993년 현재의 용수가격을 106.8% 인상시켜야 적정수준으로 유도할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 임금이란 사용자의 입장에서는 비용으로, 근로자의 입장에서는 생활의 원천이 되는 소득으로 자본주의 경제에 있어서 기업측과 근로자측은 임금을 둘러싸고 상반된 이해관계에 놓이게 된다. 그러한 사정은 노사갈등의 직접적인 원인이 될 수 있으므로 근로자의 욕구를 충족시키면서 기업의 이익을 보장할 수 있는 합리적인 임금관리가 요청된다. 본 논문에서는 임금과 관련된 주요 변수들을 시스템 다이나믹스 개념 측면에서 분석하여 문제발생의 원인과 해결방법을 모색하고 이를 단순화된 상황속에서 가상 시뮬레이션을 해 봄으로써 이상적인 임금체계 설계의 방향을 제시 해보았다.

  • 최근 산업의 발달로 전력소비량이 증가하면서 전력계통 주파수 안정화 및 전력평준화에 대한 대안으로 ESS에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 대해 출력변동이 심한 풍력발전에 배터리를 연계하여 운영하는 방법에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재 국내에서는 ESS 연계 시 높은 초기자본비용과 ESS 운영방법에 대한 문제로 아직까지 활성화되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 ESS 연계 풍력발전단의 전력판매수익을 극대화하기 위한 운영기법에 대한 연구를 진행하였다.

  • IMF 이후 기업들은 구조조정을 통한 체질개선에 총력을 기울임과 동시에 그 동안의 외형적 성장에서 탈피하여 투자 자본의 효율 향상을 위해 기업가치를 극대화하려고 노력하고 있다. 따라서. 각 사업체의 중점 육성 부분과 매각 부분을 선별하게 되었으며, 이해 사 간의 인수 합병이 빈번히 일어나고 있다. 그러나, 이렇게 생성된 기업체의 경우, 기존 전산 시스템의 하드웨어, 소프트웨어, 데이터베이스 등의 불일치로 통합에 많은 시간과 비용이 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존 전산 시스템의 플랫폼 불일치를 극복하며, 기존 시스템으로부터 개발되는 새로운 시스템으로의 전이를 자연스럽게 해줄 플랫폼 독립적인 대용량 데이터 동기화 서버(SyncDB2DB)를 설계한다.

  • 소상공인은 우리나라 경제의 중요한 역할을 하는 경제적 근간이루고 있지만 상대적으로 영세하고 경영여건이 불안하다. 정부정책적인 자금지원이 필요하나 재원의 한계로 효율적인 자본분배가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문은 랜덤포레스트 모형을 활용하여 소상공인 정책자금 대출에 관한 부실예측모형을 개발함으로써 부실징후를 사전에 파악하고 예방함으로써 사회적비용을 절감하고 자원의 효율적 분배에 기여하고자 한다.

  • Due to the social problems including recent economic crisis and unemployment rate increase, the demand of business foundation market has been increased and, in the meantime, on the basis of the business foundation support policy of the government including youth foundation support policy and Small & Medium Business Administration foundation planning, business foundation market has been showing steady growth trend. With this enlargement of foundation market, as the accompanied increase of franchise market is expected, it is considered that the importance of more realistic and concrete research about franchise market be larger than before. This study considered brand image, main office support, foundation cost, information search activity as the advanced variable of effect on brand selection and established the cause of effect on brand selection by improving the existing advanced research, and its result is as follows. First, according to foundation business kind, age, sex, yes or no of marriage, there is some difference III the thought about brand image and foundation possibility. Second, Second, the most important factor of franchise contract intention is economical specificity. It is difficult to consider brand image, franchise support and information search activity as the property having a big effect on preliminary founder, and it was shown that the cost for franchise management(Consistency with initial foundation cost and self-capital, promotion cost, management fund, facility/equipment reinvestment, etc.) is an important property. Specially, it was shown that consistency with initial foundation cost and self-capital is the most important factor for preliminary founder.

The Conversion of Chonsei into Monetary Costs and its Relationship with the Consumer Price Index (전세가격의 비용화와 소비자물가지수: 소비자물가지수 자가주거비 반영을 중심으로)

  • The Chonsei component holds the highest level of weight (5.4%) in the composition of the Korean consumer price index (CPI). The variations in Chonsei prices are directly reflected in the CPI as a representation of cost swings. The Chonsei refers to a deposit that accumulates the costs related to housing services and is mostly affected by variations in rental rates. Nevertheless, it is important to note that Chonsei prices are also susceptible to fluctuations in interest rates, regardless of the rent prices. Therefore, if Chonsei were directly and one-to-one indexed to the CPI, they could include changes other than residential service prices. After analyzing the time series data of the Chonsei index and rent index inside the CPI, it becomes apparent that the Chonsei index displays an average annual growth rate of 2.3%, whilst the rent index reveals a growth rate of 0.9%. The observed disparity in growth rates indicates a divergence in trends between the two indices. It is posited that the Chonsei index, when capitalized, has had a more rapid increase compared to the rental index, owing to the gradual drop in interest rates. To effectively reflect fluctuations in the housing service costs, proxies for the Chonsei index were utilized in the construction of a consumer price index. The findings of our study suggest that, overall, the newly developed CPI demonstrates a comparatively lower rate of inflation when compared to the official CPI. Furthermore, the inclusion of imputed rents for owner-occupied housing in CPI amplifies this effect.
