Java is an interpreted language that can run on a variety of platforms, also Java has a number of useful features for network. Due to theses features of Java language, Java is used in various fields. In this paper, we will talk about how the malware that threaten the Java Security Manager of the Java Virtual Machine is using the vulnerability of the Java Virtual Machine. And for corresponding measures, this paper suggest vulnerability analysis method of Java system class by using Java Call Graph and Java Access Permission Checking Tree. By suggesting that, we want to lay groundwork for preventing Java security threats in advance.

자바는 분산환경에 적합하고 이식성이 높으며 코드 재사용이 용이하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 이유로 다양한 분야에서 자바로 구현된 응용서비스를 제공하고 있다. 현제와 같은 정보중심사회에서 이러한 자바응용서비스는 서버의 실패(crash) 나 네트워크 분할(partition)과 같은 결함이 발생되더라도 투명하고, 안정적이며, 지속적인 서비스를 제공하는 것이 바람직하다. 이러한 요구사항은 이기종 분산환경에서 동일한 서비스를 제공하는 자바응용서비스를 그룹으로 동작하게 함으로써 해결될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 자바응용서비스 그룹이 네트워크의 분할로 상호 통신할 수 없는 두 개이상의 구성요소로 분리되더라도 지속적인 서비스를 제공하고 네트워크가 복구(merge)되면 이전과 같이 하나의 그룹으로서 동작할 수 잇도록 그룹 구성원의 일관성을 유지하는 EVS ( Extended Virtual Synchrony)모델을 구현함으로써 자바응용서비스의 신뢰성과 고가용성(high availability)을 지원하고자 한다.

Javanese culture has been perceived as peace-oriented and conflict-avoiding in both academic studies and local people's discourses, and this perception has been crystallized in the "rukun model" for understanding Javanese culture. But in reality, although the rukun values have been internalized in Javanese mindset, violence has never ceased in Javanese society and even seems more widespread in the Indonesian reform era. Based on this understanding, this paper reveals the limitations of peace-oriented rukun model which cannot explain conflict and violence, and instead suggests an alternative "territorial model" which can involve both peace and conflict. For that purpose, the author examines aspects of territoriality embedded in three components of Javanese villages: people, territory, and adat, and argues that territoriality works as the principle of organizing and managing Javanese society, as shown in their social stratum and various cultural practices as well as the way morality and justice are defined. By theorization of territorial model, we can understand rukun values and adat from a new perspective and thus achieve a more complete understanding of Javanese culture.

This article examines the reason why Indonesian Javanese are using their traditional medicine jamu. Tracing the cultural logic of Javanese, this study observes the space and the process in which the demand on jamu is culturally constructed. In order to address this, the article focuses on Javanese family and their royal court, the spaces where jamu originated from and has been used. Then, the discussion proceeds to identify jamu as a medium to construct rukun(harmony) and tentram(peace), as well as to express and ensure Javanese cosmology. Along with the research, the article argues that: 1) jamu is an embodiment of Javanese local knowledge system into which Javanese consciousness, notions, knowledge, and techniques integrate; 2) the health achieved by using jamu is what Javanese call tentram, which encompasses physical, mental, spiritual and social dimensions of health; 3) the health of tentram has the value of a resource that becomes the foundation to build a good, prosperous society.

최근 개인자료의 유출 및 불법적인 사용이 사회적으로 큰 이슈가 되고 있어 개인의 정보보호 및 신분확인에 대한 요구가 증가하게 되었다. 이로 인하여 최근 안전한 데이터 전송과 거래를 위해 스마트카드의 이용이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 특히 자바카드는 스마트카드 플랫폼에 자바의 기술을 접목시킨 것으로 양방향 통신, 정보의 보호기능 등을 수행할 수 있으며, 개인을 확인할 수 있고 이동성이 뛰어나며 복제가 어렵고 암호 알고리즘을 카드 내부에서 수행하여 보안상 매우 좋은 이점을 지니고 있어 스마트카드에서 필요로 하고 있는 다양한 서비스의 내용을 충분히 안정적으로 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 다양한 응용분야에 이용되는 자바카드의 보안성을 높이기 위하여 기존의 단순한 사용자 인증에 사용되는 PIN정보와 생체정보인 사인데이터를 함께 이용한다. 또한 개인에 따른 정보를 저장하는 방법과 이 정보를 접근하기 위하여 데이터를 사용하는 사용자간의 접근을 제한하기 위한 사용자의 접근권한을 설계하였다. 이와 같은 Applet을 설계함으로써 개인정보의 보다 안전하고 신뢰성을 보장하고 개인의 불법적인 유출 및 도용의 완벽한 제어가 될 것으로 기대된다.

In order to efficiently provide the learning ability for engineering education, electromagnetic field simulator have been developed on lava 2 platform. Each simulation module based on lava applet can be easily utilized with independent platform and provide GUI environment to set up physical conditions. The numerical results using computer animation technique are provided in real time. To aggregate and manage the learning objects, application of SCORM which is e-Learning standards is also studied.

대량의 물품이 생산되고 유통되는 현대 사회에서 개인에게 다양하고 편리한 서비스를 제공하기위해서 다방면에서 연구가 진행되고 있다. 상품을 구입 시에 사용자가 사용하는 스마트카드에 개인의 신체 치수 정보가 담겨있다면 그 사용자는 카드를 reader하는 기기에 접속하기만 하면 사용자가 필요로 하는 물품을 추천 받을 수 있을 것이다. 사람의 신체는 모든 부분을 식별할 수 있는 다양한 물리적 측정 기준을 가지고 있다. 이에 맞물려 스마트카드는 신체 식별정보 저장하기위한 적절한 저장장치이고, 관련된 컨텐츠와 자바 애플릿의 검색 및 업데이트가 용이하다는 장점이 있다. 이 논문의 연구 과제는 브라우저와 자바 임베디드 스마트카드사이의 접근 인터페이스를 설계하는 것이다.

In the knowledge based society, the development of creative human resources is one of the core factors for securing a national competition power. Especially in the software industries, the development of human resources who can solve a problem creatively by applying object oriented programming technique which is a update Programming technology is required. In this paper, we designed a lecture plan and produced it into a course contents which could be run on a online learning system. The teaching focuses of the developed course are the development of problem solving ability and object oriented design and programming ability through Java.

컴퓨터의 사용이 보편화되고, 정보화 사회로 발전해감에 따라 이 기종간의 문서 정보 교환 및 인터넷과 네트웍 인프라의 향상으로 인한 문서 처리량은 계속 증대되고 있다. 또한 문서의 표현 방법 및 문서량의 증대로 인해 사용자의 요구는 다양해져가고 있다. 기존의 웹(Web)에서 사용되고 있는 HTML(Hyper-Text Markup Language)은 고정된 태그를 사용해서, 사용자가 직접 논리적인 구조를 갖는 문서를 작성할 수 가 없었다. 이에 W3C에서는 XML을 발표하여, 사용자가 논리 구조를 가진 문서를 작성할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 XML 문서의 논리적인 구조를 표현하려면, XML 문서 안에 어떤 것을 담을 수 있는지에 대한 규칙들의 집합인 스키마(Schema)가 필요하다. 현재 여러 종류의 스키마가 사용되고 있으며, 이를 이용한 다양한 문서들이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 스키마인 DTD를 보다 쉽게 작성할 수 있는 자바 기반의 스키마 편집기를 설계 및 구현하였다.

최근 다양한 어플리케이션과 전용 임베디드 시스템의 개발 필요성이 증가하고 있으며 이는 Smart Community를 추구하는 디지털 지식사회의 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 현재 상용화되고 있는 대부분의 실시간 임베디드 시스템들을 다양한 측면에서 자사의 제품 기준에 따르는 기술적 특징과 성능 지표를 제공하고 있으며 이를 통한 성능 품질 등의 판단 근거로 제시되고 있다. 그러나 각 자료들이 공인 기관에서 제공되지 않아 자료의 신뢰도가 낮으며 따라서 성능측정 및 품질척도로 비교하는데는 어려움이 있다 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 착안하여 자바 카드 API의 품질 평가를 위해서 사전에 테스트를 거쳐 좀더 신뢰성과 안전성이 높은 자바 카드 애플릿을 개발하고자 한다. 이에 가장 중요한 부분 중에 하나인 에러체크를 통해 임의적으로 에러 처리 시나리오를 작성해서 그 시나리오를 거친 테스트 데이터를 생성한 후, 그 데이터를 가지고 API의 풀질 평가를 하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 테스트 데이터 생성 시나리오를 제안하였다. 단지 제안만 해 놓았기 때문에 향후 이 시나리오를 거친 테스트 데이터 생성을 연구하고자 한다. 또한, Verification을 위해 수학에 기초를 둔 정형 기법(Formal Method)을 이용하여 좀더 깊이 있고, 정확한 검증을 수행 하고자 한다.
