  • 많은 건설 현장에서 카메라와 CCTV(Closed-circuit Television)와 같은 장비를 활용하여 건설 현장의 상황을 모니터링 하고 있다. 하지만 많은 작업이 실외에서 이루어지는 토목 건축공사의 특성상 적절한 수준의 영상 데이터를 축적하는 것은 쉽지 않은 일이다. 특히, 이미지 프로세싱기법을 사용 하여 자동화된 건설 관리의 수행 시, 영상 데이터의 품질에 따라 에러가 발생하여 건설 관리자가 잘못된 정보를 얻게 될 경우도 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 케니엣지(Canny Edge) 인식기법과 워터쉐드(Watershed) 변환, 그리고 3D CAD Mask를 이용한 건축 구조물 기둥의 시공 상황 분석 기법에 근거하여, 영상 데이터 분석 시 오류를 최소화하기 위한 에러 제거 알고리즘을 제시한다. 실제 데이터와 비교를 통하여 그 활용 가능성 또한 검증한다.

  • For the past three years, the importance of automatic research has been increased. It was proved in previous research that the number of conducted research using 'Database' technique was the largest, but the amount of increase was the largest in research on 'BIM'. In consequence, it is predicted the research on 'BIM' will become a center of automation in construction. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine trends though classifying into each construction phase and developed extent of techniques related to professionalization and integration with other techniques within a range of 'Automation in Construction Journal' which has the biggest level of awareness in construction field.

  • Recently increasing high-rise building cleaning on the exterior walls of high-rise buildings, there has been increased interest. Building exterior cleaning is cleaned by a cleaning robot and how to clean the exterior walls of the building and exterior glass cleaned by personnel. Number of stories in the building increases, being carried out by personnel cleaning the outer wall as there is a limit order to overcome this method. therefor, this study is a new exterior wall cleaning device has been proposed.

  • Pusher-Loaded Scrapers are important construction equipment for large earthmoving operations. Production rates of a Pusher-Loaded Scraper vary greatly in accordance with the temperature or elevation, the equipment performance, haul speed, haul-road conditions, the method of loading, and Number of scrapers per one pusher. Determining of most economical scrapers fleet regarding the size of equipment, model name, and number of scrapers demands time-consuming calculation because it needs to reference of varied performance charts or tables and repeat complicated calculation. In this study, decision-making support system for the Optimal Pusher-loaded Scrapers Fleet is suggested for the purpose of calculating easily and handling effectively variables which are changed depend of the work conditions. The prototype of this program is developed using MATLAB. And the Database of Pusher-loaded Scraper embodies Performance chart & Retarder chart, soil properties, and calculation-support table.

  • Recently, the number of high-rise buildings has been on the rise, which has meant that maintenance cost has increased by two and three times, along with the increase in the construction cost. It is suggested that the use of an auto-cleaning robot could increase the productivity and safety of cleaning work, which is mostly done outside of a building. In particular, the guide rail on a high-rise building could be useful in this capacity, as it has the advantage of not being significantly influenced by factors of the external environment, including wind pressure. For this reason, this research is preliminary research into a cleaning automation for a high-rise building, and aims to draw up a scenario for the vertically moving robot.

  • As businesses put a greater emphasis on outward appearances, the demand for external window cleaning has been on the rise. However, with the conventional labor-intensive window cleaning method, it is hard to meet this demand. Therefore, this study proposes a Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis model for a guiderail-type cleaning robot, and estimate the LCCs of the conventional method and the cleaning robot. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a guide for future development of a cleaning robot.

  • Earthwork is very equipment-intensive task and researches related to automated excavation have been conducted. There is an issue to secure the safety for an automated excavating system. Therefore, this paper focuses on how to improve safety for semi- or fully-automated backhoe excavation. The primary objective of this research is to develop the core technology for automated object detection in excavation work. In order to satisfy the research objective, a diverse sensing technologies are investigated and analysed in terms of functions, durability, and reliability. The authors developed detecting algorithm for the objects using laser sensor and verified its performance by several tests. The results of this study would be the basis for developing the automated object detection system.

  • 국가적으로 전체 터널의 수는 대폭 증가하는 추세이며, 시공 및 유지관리 단계에서 체계적이고 장기적인 계측을 통한 관리가 필수적이다. 그러나 제한적인 계측만을 수행하고 있으며, 계측된 데이터가 체계적으로 관리되지 않아 유지관리 등 시공 이후의 단계에서 기초 정보로 활용하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 상태의 주요한 원인 중 한 가지는 기존의 유선 계측기가 터널현장의 복잡하고, 다양한 장비들이 운용되는 상황에서 설치 및 유지관리에 어려움이 있기 때문이다. 또한 고가의 로거의 필요성은 경제성 면에서도 장애가 된다. 따라서 터널의 효율적인 계측 및 관리를 위해서는 경제성이 확보된 무선의 효율적인 계측기의 개발이 선결되어야 하며, 본 연구에서는 지그비(Zigbee) 기술을 활용하여 기존 터널 계측기의 70% 이상을 차지하는 진동현 계측기를 무선화 할 수 있는 모듈의 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 본 고에서는 이와 관련된 다음의 내용을 기술하고자 한다. - 지그비 기술을 활용한 진동현 계측기 무선화 모듈 프로토타입 개발 내용 - 현장 실험 방법 및 결과

  • The construction industry kept lower level of the technology and productivity improvement than any other kinds of industry. But in most analysis of previous construction work which promoted the productivity of construction, the analysis process has only developed by the economical efficiency or the time studies through work sampling in construction field, So We suggest motion analysis as a tool to solve these problems. Spacially, this study find out productivity improvement method of steel frame fabrication works with using motion analysis. If the result of this study were to be applied to the actual construction field, it will be of great help for Building Construction Automation.
