A Study on the Development of Monitor Screen Checking System (모니터 화면검사 시스템의 개발에 관한 연구)

  • There are many recent monitor manufacturing firms not equipped with automatic checking system in their final process. And the check is based on the human perception, so the automatic checking system is needed for the consistency and the accuracy of the checking process to elevate the productivity and the quality. As the performance of computer systems and the vision systems has been increased, the cost for the system is reduced and their applicable algorithms have been developed. In this study we develop monitor checking system which is low-cost, fast, and easy to adopt by the small-scaled manufacturing films. The system is based on the computer vision techniques, and is equipped with the GUI interface and checking functions such as centering, yoke rotation, pincushion, sizing, brightness, and grayscale tracking. Monitor checking system developed in this study can be used in the final checking process thereby we expect the synergy effects both on the efficiency of production and on the reduction of the cost for the facility investments.

Korean Learning Assistant System with Automatically Extracted Knowledge (자동 추출된 지식에 기반한 한국어 학습 지원 시스템)

  • Computer aided language learning has become popular. But the level of automation of constructing a Korean learning assistant system is not so high because a practical language learning system needs large scale knowledge resources, which is very hard to acquire. In this paper, we propose a Korean learning assistant system that utilizes easily obtainable knowledge resources like a corpus, web documents and a lexicon. Our system has three modules - problem solving, pronunciation marker and writing assistant. Automatic problem generator uses a corpus and a lexicon to make problems with one correct answer and three distracters, then verifies their suitability by utilizing frequency information from web documents. We analyze pronunciation rules for a pronunciation marker and recommend appropriate words and sentences in real-time by using data extracted from a corpus. In experiment, we evaluate 400 automatically generated problems, which show 89.9% problem suitability and 64.9% example suitability.

  • This paper is to develop a monitoring system with diagnosis for smart cargo sensors that is for management and maintenance of the liquid cargo ships. The main goal of the system is to achieve the total automation system of the cargo sensor. By this study, the active smart sensor for the liquid cargo ships is designed and developed that guarantees high-confidence, stability, and durability. The proposed system consists of a monitoring part of the steam pressure, high-level monitoring, over flowing monitoring, gas monitoring, and tank temperature monitoring. The signals transferred from each unit system are used for sensor diagnosis based on confidence and accuracy. Finally, in this study, the total supervisory monitoring system is developed to maintain and manage the cargo effectively based on fault diagnosis and prognosis of the each sensor system.

  • Ein Schlagwort "die Vierte Industrielle Revolution" ist mehrdeutig und sehr unterschiedlich verstanden. Die Fragestellung, was die wesentlichen und allgemein anerkannten Elemente der "vierten industriellen Revolution", bezieht sich bisher auf neue Technologie oder Produkten wie $K{\ddot{u}}nstliche$ Intelligenz(K.I), autonomes Fahren, Internet der Dinge(IdD), 3D-Drucker usw. Unter einem historischen Gesichtspunkt bzw. der Geschichte der Industiriellen Revolution gibt es jedoch eine $Parallelit{\ddot{a}}t$ der rechtlichen Fragen, bsw. die Gefahrenabwehr, technische Kodifikation, Selbstregulierung, Internationalisierung des Technikrechts. Der Versuch, die Vierte Industrielle Revolution nur mit den neuen Technologie oder Produkten zu verstehen, kann nicht die Differenzierung zwischen jeden Stufen der industriellen Revolution konsequent $erkl{\ddot{a}}ren$. Dass die rechtliche Fragen der Vierten Industriellen Revolution angemessen behandelt, verlangt $zun{\ddot{a}}chst$ einen $Schl{\ddot{u}}sselbegriff$. Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt Digitalisierung als $Schl{\ddot{u}}sselbegriff$ voraus. Mit diesem $Schl{\ddot{u}}sselbegriff$ beleuchtet hier die Herausforderung des Verwaltungsrechts in der Zeitwende, wie die $Anpassungsf{\ddot{a}}higkeit$ und $Steuerungsf{\ddot{a}}higkeit$ des Rechts.

Stochastic Real-time Demand Prediction for Building and Charging and Discharging Technique of ESS Based on Machine-Learning (머신러닝기반 확률론적 실시간 건물에너지 수요예측 및 BESS충방전 기법)

  • K-BEMS System was introduced to reduce peak load and to save total energy of the 120 buildings that KEPCO headquarter and branch offices use. K-BEMS system is composed of PV, battery, and hybrid PCS. In this system, ESS, PV, lighting is used to save building energy based on demand prediction. Currently, neural network technique for short past data is applied to demand prediction, and fixed scheduling method by operator for ESS charging/discharging is used. To enhance this system, KEPCO research institute has carried out this K-BEMS research project for 3 years since January 2016. As the result of this project, we developed new real-time highly reliable building demand prediction technique with error free and optimized automatic ESS charging/discharging technique. Through several field test, we can certify the developed algorithm performance successfully. So we will describe the details in this paper.

  • Digital devices that apply Ubiquitous-IT Convergence in ship manufacture are used as ship automation device. Need sailing data recording of ship black box that equip integrity and consecutiveness as legal confesser fare that inquire responsibility whereabouts of disaster such as fire of ship. It is research that create Forensic data from ship black box using Multidimensional networking that use ZigBee radio short distance communications division Wireless LAN with short distance RFID sensor that is used in ship in this treatise, UWB communication, GPS and artificial satellite. Sailing recording of shipping that is recorded to black box is transmited, and stores doubly by real time on ship insurance company and ship administration recording membrane using SHA-1 hash function and secure consecutiveness and integrity as Forensic data through artificial satellite encoding by 3DES 1024bit.

  • We are facing an era of automation where artificial intelligence works and an era of super-aging, where birth is rapidly declining. In this paper, we intend to perform the creation of an autobiography in conjunction with the generation integrated narrative storytelling, thereby exploring the potential for visual storytelling that can be extended to a variety of media format. The visual autobiography production program confirmed through an interview with the production participants that grandparents, grandchildren and granddaughter together became the main characters in the documentary, a valuable opportunity to reflect on their past memories and lives and recognize their meaning of life. The visual storytelling education program model and media life service presented in this paper will be shared by the youth and the elderly generation together and contribute to the 'sympathetic culture' as a social integration program.

  • Recently, with the development of artificial intelligence and IoT technology, automation, and unmanned work are progressing in various fields, and the importance of image processing, which is the basis of AI object recognition, is increasing. In particular, in systems that require detailed data processing, noise removal is used as a preprocessing step, but the existing algorithm does not consider the noise level of the image, so it has the disadvantage of blurring in the filtering process. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a modified Gaussian filter that determines the weight by determining the noise level of the image. The proposed algorithm obtains the noise estimate for the AWGN of the image using quadtree segmentation, determines the Gaussian weight and the pixel weight, and obtains the final output by convolution with the local mask. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, it was simulated compared to the existing method, and superior performance was confirmed compared to the existing method.

  • In this paper, we made the integrated intelligent air ventilation of the actuator module that can be remotely controlled based on IoT and sensors. we implemented a ventilation window system by configuring an algorithm design and a driving circuit to control the operation of the actuator to open and close the ventilation port based on a predetermined number of data that detects indoor gas/CO2/humidity temperature and outdoor fine dust related indoor/outdoor environment. It is difficult to store, manage, and analyze data due to the large number of sensors and conditions for the transmission data of indoor air circulation module. The remote monitoring and remote wireless control screens were constructed to automate the separation and operation conditions by extracting and managing the state. We apply MQTT to enhance big data transmission and construct the system using Rocket MQ to ensure safe transmission of operational big data against system errors.

  • Recently, we aim to improve the quality of virtual reality contents based on quantitative analysis results of emotions through combination of emotional recognition field and virtual reality field. Emotions are analyzed based on the participant's vital signs. Much research has been done in terms of signal analysis, but the methodology for quantifying emotions has not been fully discussed. In this paper, we propose a normalization function design and expression method to quantify the emotion between various bio - signals. Use the Brute force algorithm to find the optimal parameters of the normalization function and improve the confidence score of the parameters found using the true and false scores defined in this paper. As a result, it is possible to automate the parameter determination of the bio-signal normalization function depending on the experience, and the emotion can be analyzed quantitatively based on this.
