  • PVD(Physical Vapour Deposition)코팅은 70년대 미국의 Multi-arc이란 기업에 의해 질화물계나 탄화물계 피막 증착이 가능한 아크이온플레팅(Arc Ion Plating) 기술이 산업에 소개되어, 주로 내마모나 내구성을 요구하는 금형, 절삭공구, 산업용 부품 분야 등에 적용되면서 꾸준한 성장세를 거듭해 왔다. 최근 들어 PVD기술은 그 수요의 급증과 더불어 보다 진화된 형태의 코팅장치 및 코팅피막들이 산업에 소개 되고 있다. 먼저 절삭가공분야에는 new composition, nano composite, multi-element composition, multi-layer, SML(Self Modification Layer)등의 코팅피막들이 단독 또는 조합된 형태로 개발되어 철계 소재를 대상으로 고경도 소재의 고속가공, 저경도~중경도 소재의 중속~고속 광범위영역에서 동시 절삭을 가능케 하였고, 비철.비금속 소재 절삭용으로 종전의 가스방식의 DLC(a-C:H)코팅을 훨씬 능가하는 ta-C Plus(Ultra super DLC) 코팅이 개발되어 고 Si함량의 Al-Si계 합금, Cu-W계, 고 섬유 CFRP, CFRM 및 반소결 상태의 세라믹 소재들을 황삭에서 정삭까지 단일 공정으로 절삭이 가능한 고성능 공구들이 개발보급되고 있다. 금속 성형분야에는 고장력 강판을 냉간에서 성형 가능한 Lubricative multi-layer coating, 열간 또는 고온에서 성형이 가능한 functional multi layer과 이형성이 더한층 개선된 dimpled(or embossed) functional multi layer 코팅들이 개발되어 산업현장에 빠르게 확산되고 있다. PVD 코팅의 또 다른 주요 적용분야로 의료분야를 들 수 있는데, 이는 코팅의 대다수가 고경도의 생체친화적인 특성을 가진데 착안되었으며, 흔히 현대성 질환이라 일컫는 과민성 체질, 과체중 및 허약체질 환자의 증가와 각종 재해 및 사고의 증가 및 인간 수명 증가에 따른 인공적인 시술의 요구증가에 편승하여 이 분야의 시장 또한 가파르게 성장하고 있다. 또한 대량으로 양산 적용단계에 접어든 자동차 핵심부품들을 비롯해서 각종 산업용, 방산용 기계 부품에도 성능 향상, 내구성 향상, 환경친화성 등 다양한 목적으로 확대 적용되고 있는 사례들을 본 발표를 통해 간략하게나마 소개하고자 한다.

한국 내연기관 개발의 현재와 미래

  • 현재 한국의 자동차 공업은 80년대 초반부터 급격한 발전으로 세계의 다른 자동차 생산국으로부 터 경계의 대상이 되고 있다. 그러나 그 내면을 살펴보면 아직도 중요한 기술은 거의 대부분 일 본이나 독일, 미국 등 자동차 선진국의 기술에 의존하고 있으며 특히 엔진 분야는 대부분 외국 기술에 의존하고 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 엔진은 자동차 생산원가의 약 30%를 차지하며 자동차의 성능을 좌우하는 경우 기술료 지급은 물론이며 부품구매 선택의 여지가 없어진다. 또한 요즈음과 같이 상품의 수명주기가 짧게 되어 가는 추세 하에서는 시장의 요구에 대처해나가는 엔지니어링 적응력이 부족하게 되면 결국 경쟁성을 상실하게 된다. 그러나 이러한 문제점을 인 식하면서도 80년대 초까지 독자적인 엔진개발을 하지 못했던 원인은 크게 2가지로 분석할 수 있다. 첫째는 한국의 자동차 회사들의 기술 축적의 미약과 둘째는 독자개발의 낮은 투자효율성 이다. 즉 엔진과 변속기를 기술 도입할 때 기술료 지급은 자동차 생산댓수당 5-6만원에 달하지만 엔진과 변속기를 독자개발시의 투자비는 약 300-500억원에 달하므로 간단한 산술적 계산으로는 모델당 100만대를 생산하여야만 투자의 가치가 있는 것으로 보여진다. 물론 위에서 언급한 바와 같은 여러 가지 요인에 의하면 이 숫자보다 훨씬 적은 생산량으로도 경쟁성이 확보될 것으로 예상된다. 이제 한국의 자동차 생산량도 연간 백만 대를 상회하는 수준이며 앞으로도 급격한 양과 질적인 팽창이 기대되고 있는 시점에 자동차 메이커들은 각사 모두 독자적인 고유 엔진 개발을 착수하였으며 일부 회사는 이미 성공을 거두어 양산 준비를 하고 있는 것으로 알고 있다. 그러나 아직도 엔진의 설계부터 양산까지 걸리는 기간이 타 선진 메이커에 비하면 상당히 길며 이로 인해 신제품의 경쟁력 저하가 우려되고 있는 상태이다. 이러한 문제점 해결에 도움을 주기 위해서 학계는 기업체의 기술 개발방향과 전략을 이해하는 것이 필요하다.grightarrow$cn-semistratifiable over$\longrightarrow$semistratifiable over $\alpha$ 2, 어떤 공간이 cn-Semistratifiable over $\alpha$이기 위한 필요충분 조건은 그것이 linearly cushioned cn-pairnet를 갖는 것이다. 3. cn-semistratifiable over $\alpha$의 부분공간 역시 cn-semistratifiabie over $\alpha$ 하다. 4. on-semistratifiable over $\alpha$의 유한개의 적공간 역시 cn-semistratifiabie over $\alpha$한다. 5. 폐 cn-semistratifiable over $\alpha$ 부분공간들의 합공간 역시 on-semistrbtifiable over $\alpha$ 하다. 6. 폐연속 net-cevering 함수에 의하여 cn-semistratifiable over $\alpha$ 성질이 보존된다. 보잘것이 없었고, 현재에도 각 시도별 또는 대학주관의 경시대회가 있으나 거국적인 호응을 받지 못했다. 물론 국제 대회에 참석시키는 것은 엄두도 내지 않았다.로 나타났다. 4. 코코넛과 소나무수피의 경우 암모니아 가스에 대한 흡착 능력은 거의 비슷한 것으로 사료되며, 코코넛의 경우 전량을 수입에 의존하고 있다는 점에서 국내 조달이 용이하며, 구입 비용도 적게 소요되는 소나무수피를 사용하는 것이 경제적이라고 사료된다. 5. 마지막으로 악취제거 미생물균주를 접종한 소나무수피 50%와 펄라이트 30%의 혼합재료를 24시간 동안 장기간 운전 실험을 수행한 결과 암모니아 99.06%, 황화수소 96.61%의 제거

The Effect of Benevolence and Communication on Commitment and Switching Intentions : The Automobile Parts Buyer's Perspective (자동차 부품 제조업체와 공급업체 간의 선의와 의사소통이 몰입과 교체의도에 미치는 영향: 구매자의 관점을 중심으로)

  • This study is to examine the effect of mutualistic benevolence, altruistic benevolence, and communication on affective commitment, calculative commitment, and switching intentions and investigate how two commitment dimensions play mediating roles between two benevolence constructs and communication, and switching intentions. For these purposes the author developed a structural model which consists of several constructs. In this model, benevolence factor that consists of mutualistic benevolence and altruistic benevolence, and communication were proposed to affect two commitment constructs and result in, increase switching intentions. Thus, two commitment constructs(e.g., affective and calculative commitment) were proposed as core mediating variables between mutualistic benevolence, altruistic benevolence, and communication, and switching intentions. The data were collected from 210 automobile parts buyers and were analyzed using frequency, reliability, and confirmatory factor analysis and SEM (structural equation model) with SPSS/WIN 20.0 and AMOS 20.0. The data were analyzed with structural equation modeling with AMOS 20.0 and SPSS Win/PC 20.0. The result of the overall model analysis appeared as follows: ${\chi}2=224.885$, d.f=123(${\chi}2/df=1.828$), p=0.000, GFI=.898, AGFI=.859, IFI=.967, NFI=.930, TLI=.958, RMSEA=.063, CFI=.966. Since the result of the overall model analysis demonstrated a good fit, we could further analyze our data. The findings can be summarized as follows: According to structural equation modeling analysis, firstly, mutualistic benevolence has direct effects on calculate commitment and affective commitment. Secondly, altruistic benevolence has a positively direct effect on calculate commitment. Thirdly, communication has a statistically direct effect on affective commitment. Fourthly, calculative commitment has direct effects on affective commitment and switching intentions. Lastly, affective commitment has a direct effect on switching intentions.

  • The demands of golf car is being increased with increment in golf population, gradually proceeding to the trend of popularization, but domestic golf car industry is not so mature as it cope with the need of this market appropriately. Most import golf cars of high price have occupied the domestic market from the viewpoint of the its demands. Although the import golf car provided bad after-sales services and very expensive components, those demand's breadth continue to rise steadily. We decide to have to approach an appropriate time to develop the competitive model native to korean style in the field of golf car, since we have established our foundation in auto industry. At this point we try to analyze the golf car expected from a competition and the present state of golf car industry inside and outside of the country through this study. We attempt to derive the precondition for design development of a proper model to possess competitive power in foreign market from now on.

  • Due to the recent development of system semiconductors, technical innovation for the electric devices of the automobile industry is rapidly progressing. In particular, the electric device of automobiles is accelerating technology development competition among automobile parts makers, and the development cycle is also changing rapidly. Due to these changes, the importance of strategic planning for R&D is further strengthened. Due to the paradigm shift in the automobile industry, the Product-Technical Roadmap (P/TRM), one of the R&D strategies, analyzes technology forecasting, technology level evaluation, and technology acquisition method (Make/Collaborate/Buy) at the planning stage. The product-technical roadmap is a tool that identifies customer needs of products and technologies, selects technologies and sets development directions. However, most companies are developing the product-technical roadmap through a qualitative method that mainly relies on the technical papers, patent analysis, and expert Delphi method. In this study, empirical research was conducted through simulations that can supplement and strengthen the product-technical roadmap centered on the automobile industry by fusing Gartner's hype cycle, cumulative moving average-based data preprocessing, and deep learning (LSTM) time series analysis techniques. The empirical study presented in this paper can be used not only in the automobile industry but also in other manufacturing fields in general. In addition, from the corporate point of view, it is considered that it will become a foundation for moving forward as a leading company by providing products to the market in a timely manner through a more accurate product-technical roadmap, breaking away from the roadmap preparation method that has relied on qualitative methods.

  • It is to review the current status of magnesium smelting. Raw materials for magnesium source, worldwide production and producers of metallic magnesium, Korean magnesium markets and some important extraction technologies were reviewed. The magnesium extraction technologies were described according to the two major reduction methods: the fused salt electrolysis and the thermal reduction method. Also, the research on the extraction of magnesium from magnesite which has been being carried out at KIGAM was briefly introduced with discussing the related topics on the recycling of the chlorine and the hydrogen chloride gas used in the process.

The potential market of mass consumption has been led by the technological achievement from the parts changability to automatic assembly line has been combining with industrial design function. Industrial designers in this nation have grown under the circumstance and become design stars of the 20th century.

  • Korean auto mobile industry has been contributed to development on national economy for last 30 years. Especially, The fact is that latest increasement of Korean automobile selling is worthy of notice in U.S. market which is the biggest automobile market of the world. But development of automobile industry unattainable nothing of helping of auto parts industry. So, when we discuss about growth of automobile industry, we also have to consider role of auto parts industry at the same time. The purpose of this study was to analyze exporting competition of Korean auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the Korean auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the world by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Also we measured Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. Analyzing period was 1998-2004. The results of Index of Export Bias indicated that HS Code No. 8708.50, 8708.91 represented over 3 numerical value and 8708.92, 8708.60, 8708.39, 8708.29 represented over 2 numerical value. Additional results indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained exporting competition in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.93, 8708.92. The products which will have exporting competition in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.99,

  • Radar is an essential sensor component in autonomous vehicles, and the market for radar applications in this context is steadily expanding with a growing variety of products. In this study, we aimed to enhance the stability and performance of radar systems by developing and evaluating a radar performance prediction model that can predict radar defects. We selected seven machine learning and deep learning algorithms and trained the model with a total of 49 input data types. Ultimately, when we employed an ensemble of 17 models, it exhibited the highest performance. We anticipate that these research findings will assist in predicting product defects at the production stage, thereby maximizing production yield and minimizing the costs associated with defective products.

  • Recently, the automobile industry is rapidly changing due to technological development. Next-generation cars with high technology and new functions are on the market. It is essential to develop electronic devices to meet the condition of next-generation cars. In this study, the authors have reviewed recent trends of automotive electronics and packaging technology. Automotive electronics are used in harsh environments compared with other industries. Thus, it is important to improve the reliability of device junctions that directly affect electronics performance. Soldering, TLP (transient liquid phase bonding), and sintering are introduced for the bonding methods in car electronics.
