Study on the Shift Characteristics of a 2speed Manual Transmission apply to V-Blet (V-blet를 적용한 2단 수동변속기의 변속특성에 관한 연구)

  • As research and development of eco-friendly vehicles are expanding worldwide, additional devices of vehicles are reduced or deleted to increase the mileage, or research is being conducted to reduce weight. Among them, the multi-stage transmission that was applied to the internal combustion engine vehicle was deleted and replaced with a reducer, and the initial driving power is secured by increasing the torque through the control of the motor output value. However, since frequent motor speed change can result in a load increase, this study attempts to develop a compact and lightweight manual two-stage reducer with a general reducer structure. Therefore, a two-speed transmission with two gear ratio was designed by inserting a large gear and a small gear in a structure with a parallel shaft to connect the gears with a V-belt in the form of a parallel shaft reducer, and setting the gear ratio of the low and high gears respectively. In addition, power performance according to the rotational speed and load of the transmission was checked through a test, and the heat generation characteristics generated during driving were checked to verify the validity of the transmission.

  • 최근 국내외에서 자동차 연비와 성능 향상을 위하여 고부가가치 자동변속기의 개발이 적극적으로 추진되고 있다. 특히, 유럽(ZF)과 일본(JATCO, AISIN)을 비롯한 변속기 부품의 기술선진국에서는 전자빔 용접을 적용한 고부가가치 자동변속기 제품이 개발되어 다양한 고급차 모델에 적용되고 있으며 2010년까지 8속 자동변속기를 출시할 예정으로 개발을 추진하고 있다. 이러한 자동변속기를 개발하기 위하여 부품의 성형 및 가공정밀도 관리가 중요하며, 최종 조립되는 부품의 전처리(연질화처리, 탈지, 이물질 제거등)와 용접시 용접변형을 최소화하기 위한 공정조건의 엄격한 관리가 요구되고 있다. 변속기 부품으로 사용되는 소재는 성형성 확보를 위한 연질재(SPCC)와 강도를 확보하기 위한 고강도강(SAPH400, SPFH590)으로 서로 다른 두께의 재질이 조립되어 최종단계에서 용접공정에 의해 제작되고 있다. 특히, 연질재는 복잡한 형상으로 성형한 다음, 가공을 거쳐 경화를 위한 연질화처리가 요구되기 때문에 건전한 용접을 하기 위해서는 용접면에 접한 연질화 처리부는 연질화 처리재가 잔존하지 않도록 완전한 제거할 필요가 있다. 만약 전처리 공정에서 충분한 세척과 가공품의 정도관리가 확보되지 않으면 전자빔 용접시 고온에서 이물질 증발과 잔류, 스패터 발생등에 의한 용접부 결함발생이나 용접변형으로 인하여 제품불량이 발생하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최종 조립공정인 용접작업시 발생되는 결함을 방지하고 이 두께 및 이종소재의 전자빔 용접비드 형상(비드 폭, 용입깊이)을 최적화 함으로서 용접부 변형을 최소화하고 충분한 강도를 확보하고자 전자빔 용접전류와 속도에 따른 비드형상을 비교검토 하고자 하였다. 그리고 실차적용시 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 전자빔 용접한 자동차 변속기 부품의 비틀림 시험을 실시하였으며 전자빔 용접 전, 후의 변형량을 측정하여 변속기 부품으로서의 적용성을 검증하고자 하였다.

Study for Examples of Fire Including Friction with Automotive Clutch, Manual Transmission and Tire System (자동차 클러치, 수동변속기, 타이어 시스템의 마찰에 관련된 화재사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study and analyze the failure examples for fire by friction on clutch, manual transmission and tire system in a car. In the first example, the driver took the pedal with foot to act the clutch. But the clutch disk did not return from flywheel by leakage of clutch hydraulic line. The heat was produced between clutch disk and flywheel by surface contacting. As a result, it was produced the fire by oil sludge sticked with transmission. In the second example, the transmission system was operated to transfer power of engine by contacting with gear and gear. But, as if the oil of transmission was caused the oil insufficiency because of leaking by crack of transmission case, it found the fact that was produced the fire by deposit material on transmission case. In the third example, when the car's driver continuously pushed an accelerator pedal for escaping from dry pit, the tire took the heat by the friction force between tire and surface of road. As a result, it became the direct cause for the fire. Therefore the driver must manage not to produce the fire with friction parts by heating during running.

  • 자동차용 CVT로서 여러 가지 장치가 연구되고 있으나 크게 나누어 다음의 5가지, 1)유압식 변속 기(hydrostatic transmission), 2)오버런닝 클러치(overrunning clutch CVT), 3) 전기식 CVT, 4)미 끄럼 클러치식 치차변속기(multispeed gearbox CVT with shipping clutch), 5)트랙션 전달장치(t raction drive)로 볼 수 있다. 이중 지금까지 자동차에 실제 적용되어 가장 큰 가능성을 보인 것 은 트랙션 전달장치 뿐이다. 따라서 본문에서는 1)-4)의 4가지 형태의 CVT에 대하여 간단히 서 술하고 트랙션 전달장치를 중심으로 설명하기로 한다.

  • The non-destructive testing equipment using an eddy current was developed to check for defect in the vehicle transmission component. A defect master sample was made to test all types of defects that occur in the component and also an eddy current detector was manufactured and used to test and detect all kinds of defects. In addition, testing was held against the actual defective items to investigate the cause and type of defects, and a comparative study was conducted based on results from the examination. The software system of the eddy current detector was developed so that even a non-specialist can make assessment of detect in the component from the test results displayed on the monitor.

  • In this paper, a new shift map was proposed to improve the fuel economy of a transmission mounted electric device(TMED) type dual clutch transmission(DCT) plug-in hybrid electric vehicle(PHEV) by considering transmission and motor losses. To construct the shift map, powertrain efficiencies of the engine-DCT-motor were obtained at each gear step. A shift map that provides the highest powertrain efficiency was constructed for the given wheel torque and vehicle speed. Simulation results showed that the fuel economy of the target PHEV can be improved by the new shift map compared with the existing engine optimal operating line(OOL) shift control.

  • This study was carried out to develop continuously variable-speed transmission(CVT) fur an agricultural tractor. The full-toroidal variator mechanism with flour discs and six rollers was utilized as a device fur changing speed ratio continuously. In system layout design, the sizes of the roller cylinders and the end-load cylinder, which were critical factors for controlling the variator, were designed. The planetary gear unit and six pairs of the gear assemblies were designed to establish the maximum speed of the vehicle at 30 ㎞/hr. In addition, the hydraulic clutch, the silent chain, the hydraulic manifold and the electronic controller were designed. Based on the design, a prototype CVT was developed and tested. Test results show that the CVT developed in this study could successfully provide variable speed of the tractor.
