A Study on the Design of Wheel for Car on Human Sensibility Analysis (자동차 휠 디자인에 대한 감성 분석 연구)

  • Modern consumers expect the goods which is sewed more sensitive and emotional satisfaction. It is necessary to apply the knowledge of sensibility analysis to the design of car. The design of wheel for car is regarded as important because consumers want to have unique cars and spend on decorating their cars. This study is to understand the image of consumer's idea about the design of wheel for far through the sensibility analysis that is understood from a part of new design way. According to consumers'needs and emotion, the images of 'harmonious', 'fresh' and 'strong' are representative for the design of wheel for car. The wheel of spoke type stands for the image of 'harmonious', the wheel of mesh type for the image of 'fresh' and the wheel of dish type for the image of 'strong'. Therefore, the emotional image that consumers have of the product is extracted by the sensibility Analysis. In turn, the suggestion of a design direction that satisfies the consumers is possible.

  • This thesis researches how country image and product attributes as well as brand personality influence U.S.A, Chinese and Indian Consumers' Korean automobile brand selection and the strategic implications of this study are as follows. First, Country image and Brand personality have more influence on U.S.A Consumers than Chinese and Indian consumers on selection of Korean automobiles. Second, All three of consumers have more influence by product attributes than other two factors, Chinese consumers has more influences by product attributes than U.S.A and Indian consumers have. Throughout this study it can be acutely recognized that brand personality and product attributes as well as country image influence on selection of automobiles made in Korea although there exist differences among three other consumers. This study suggests Hyundai automobiles in U.S.A, China and India need effort to develop representative brands with a unique personality.

  • Depending on the launch of the emotional generation, many researches developing the automobile preference color which reflects the preference color of the consumers are advanced. This study investigate preferred colors and emotional image of the car color reflecting the product design and consuming psychology. According to surveyed ages and gender, there are eight categories (women/20 's, 30 "s, 40 's, and 50 's and men/20 's, 30 "s, 40 's, and 50 's) based on the 30 persons. Preferred color is black, white, sky blue, purple, pink, and orange order. If black, white and gray are excluded, remained in the order of blue, yellow, and purple. There are big deferences on preference color when emotional preference color of cars is showed or not. Practically, the preference color is following in sensitivity. However the car image is recognized actually with conservativeness, they hesitates selection of the bright chromatic color car.

  • In this paper a license plate area extraction of labeling the vehicle images is proposed. Studies on license plate recognition systems have largely been conducted and there is a tendency of increasing license plate recognition rates. In this paper a license plate region is extracted from an image labeling for the region of interest and research on technology for labeling sample image using the Otsu algorithm to binary.

  • This paper is concerned with analyzing the images of Korean automobiles using, so called, sensory engineering, which adapts the sensory and subjective assessment of human beings in evaluating the quality of product. The methodology of analysis is suggested in this paper according to the following steps. First, 14 pairs of adjectives, which describe the image of object cars in view of the semantic differential method, are derived from consulting with several expert panels. Nextly, factor analysis is performed in order to obtain the axises, by which the images space of the object automobiles are specified, and then the images of the object automobiles are measured by the coordinate of all the object automobiles in the image space. In this paper, a sensory estimation experiment is performed to a panel consisting with In undergraduate students residing in the region of Daegu. From the result of analysis of this paper, target images, which the automobile manufacturers are intended, are achieved by and large except one company.

  • In the car license plate recognition system, it is very important to extract the part of the license plate from the car image. In this paper, I use ACL algorithm to extract the license plate image from car image. The ACL algorithm is used to color and luminance information, either. Therefore in this paper, suggested algorithm is called ACL algorithm The ACL algorithm uses color, luminance information and the rate of license plate information Each of these information are used to exact area of license plate. The result of experiment to extract the car license plate with ACL algorithm is 97% extraction rate. The result of experiment with ACL algorithm for the character region, character recognition is 92% extraction rate.

  • In the recognitionsystem of car license plate, it is very important to extract the character from the license plate and recognize the extrated character. In this paper, I use the adaptive algorithm to recognize the charactor of licensse plate image. The adaptive algorithm is compounded of thinning algorithm template matching,algarthm, vector algorithm and so on. The adaptive algorithm was used to recognize the character from license image. In the result of expenment, character recognition is about up to 90% with the adaptive algorithm for the character region.

  • 자동차 번호판 인식 시스템에서 가장 중요한 요소는 자동차 이미지 영역에서 번호판 영역을 추출, 추출된 영역에서 문자 추출, 추출된 문자의 인식 등의 과정이다. 본 논문은 자동차 번호판 인식 과정에서 적응 알고리즘을 이용하여 보다 정확한 인식이 될 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서 사용하는 적응 알고리즘은 기존의 방식과는 달리 특정한 알고리즘을 이용한 인식을 하지 않고 다양한 알고리즘을 이용한 인식 결과의 조합으로 최적의 해법을 찾는다. 번호판 인식을 위한 적응 알고리즘은 원형 정합 알고리즘, 벡터 알고리즘, 세선화 알고리즘 등이다. 적응 알고리즘을 이용한 실험 결과 자동차 이미지에 대해서 90% 이상 인식이 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 이동식 자동영상속도측정기로 과속 단속된 영상자료 중 역광 원인으로 자동차 번호판을 인식할 수 없어 폐기되는 영상자료에 대한 번호판 인식률을 향상시키는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 명암값 분포가 불규칙한 자동차 번호판 이미지나 영상 자체에 손상이 많은 자동차 번호판 이미지를 지역적 적응 이진화 알고리즘을 사용함으로써, 오츠 전역적 이진화 알고리즘보다 뛰어난 자동차 번호판 인식률을 얻었다.

  • In recognition system of the car license plate, the most important is to extract the image of the license plate from a car image. In this paper, we use ACL (Adaptive Color Luminance) algorithm to extract the license plate image from a car image. The ACL algorithm that uses color and luminance information of a car image is used to extract the image of the license plate. In this paper, color, luminance and other related information of a car image are used to extract the image of the license plate from that of a car. In this reason, we call it the ACL algorithm. The ACL algorithm uses color, luminance information and other related information of a license plate. These informations are avaliable to exact the image of the license plate. The rate of extracting the image of the license plate from a car is 97%. The experimental result of the ACL algorithm for the character region is 92%.
