Consumer Study on the Acceptance of VR Headsets based on the Extended TAM (확장된 기술수용모델을 활용한 VR기기 수용관련 소비자 연구)

  • This study investigated the antecedents of VR(virtual reality) headsets acceptance and the causal relationships among self-efficacy, content diversity, the perceived usefulness, the perceived easy of use, the perceived playfulness and the adoption intention. We collected 238 survey responses and formed structural equation modeling with AMOS 23.0. The results of the analysis can be summarized as follows. The diversity of contents and self-efficacy had significant effects on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived enjoyment, thus increasing the intention of acceptance. Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived enjoyment had significant effects on the intention of acceptance. Perceived ease of use indirectly had an effect through increasing perceived enjoyment. The price did not affect the adoption intention and marketing communication increased the intention of acceptance. The results are expected to provide useful information to the companies related to VR.

  • This thesis investigates characteristics and factors of 'receptive appreciation' which leads Chinese classic literature to high level. Receptive appreciation is literally appreciation method that appreciator accepts literary work in his position. In other words, it is to internalize literary work and to elicit his feeing. This receptive appreciation has two characteristics. One is that appreciator's feeling varies according to his circumstances and personality, the other is that the value of literary work is rediscovered by appreciator. Variation is the meaningful factor of literary work and know-how that literary work is called classic. Appreciator must have some conditions for receptive appreciation ideally. Writer's values reflected in the literary work, understanding of historical background, excellent eye supported by appreciator's various experience, comprehensive and neutral thinking are important premises. This study about receptive appreciation of Chinese classic literary work helps that appreciators have eyes for it.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경 하에서 새로운 첨단 핵심기술 및 서비스가 하나의 제품 안에 집중되어가는 시대적 요구가 대두되고 있다. 이에 부응하여 탄생한 컨버전스 제품인 텔레매틱스의 전망 역시 두드러지고 있다. 본 연구는 Davis[14]가 제안한 기술수용모델(Technology Acceptance Model:TAM)을 통하여 텔레매틱스 사용의도에 관한 수용모형을 제시하였다. 기술수용모델의 내부 요인인 사용의도, 인지된 유용성과 인지된 이용용이성 외에도 업체 신뢰도, 정황 인식성, 자기 효능감의 외부 요인으로 확장하여 요인 간의 구조적 관계를 위한 모형을 개발하였다. 실증분석을 한 결과 정황 인식성, 자기 효능감이 각각 인지된 유용성과 이용용이성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 텔레매틱스의 이용자에게 중요시 되는 특성에 대해 논의하였다.

Designing and Application of the Unconditional Self-Acceptance Development Program (무조건적 자기수용 증진 프로그램의 개발과 적용)

  • The purpose of this study was to devise an Unconditional Self-Acceptance Development Program and examine the efficacy of the program on alleviating children's depression and improving psychological wellbeing. In order to test the efficacy of the developed program, Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS: Hewitt & Flett, 1991), Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ; Chamberalain & Haaga, 2001), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI; Kovacs & Beck, 1977), and Psychological Well-Being Scale(PWBS: Seng Hee Lee, 1999) were used for pre- and post tests. The test results were analyzed using t-tests. Twelve elementary school students suffering from depression participated in eight sessions of the Unconditional Self-Acceptance Development Program, and then were compared with 13 children in the control group who did not receive the treatment. The result was as follows: the treatment group showed statistically significant improvement in unconditional self- acceptance, alleviated level of depression, and increased psychological wellbeing, in comparison with the control group. The findings of this study suggest that unconditional self-acceptance development program should be adopted as a new therapy program for children's depression and psychological wellbeing.

Analysis of Acceptance Intentions for Digital Technology Education among Beauty Industry Learners (뷰티분야 학습자의 디지털 기술 관련 교육에 대한 수용 의도 분석)

  • The analysis of beauty major students' acceptance intentions for digital new technologies revealed that subjective norms and self-efficacy significantly impact ease of use as mediating variables, and willingness to innovate and self-efficacy significantly impact usefulness as mediating variables. However, willingness to innovate did not significantly impact ease of use, and subjective norms did not significantly impact usefulness. Ease of use and usefulness significantly impacted acceptance attitude, and acceptance attitude significantly impacted acceptance intention. These results suggest that while beauty major students recognize the positive necessity of new technology application in the beauty field, they may feel somewhat burdened by learning and utilizing new technologies. Learners' fear of applying new technologies could result in a reluctance to take courses necessary for understanding and acquiring digital new technologies. To address this, it is necessary to analyze the basic knowledge level of digital technology among beauty major students and develop lower-level related courses and programs to help them easily understand digital new technologies.

Preservice teacher's understanding of the intention to use the artificial intelligence program 'Knock-Knock! Mathematics Expedition' in mathematics lesson: Focusing on self-efficacy, artificial intelligence anxiety, and technology acceptance model (수학 수업에서 예비교사의 인공지능 프로그램 '똑똑! 수학 탐험대' 사용 의도 이해: 자기효능감과 인공지능 불안, 기술수용모델을 중심으로)

  • This study systematically examined the influence of preservice teachers' self-efficacy and AI anxiety, on the intention to use AI programs 'knock-knock! mathematics expedition' in mathematics lessons based on a technology acceptance model. The research model was established with variables including self-efficacy, AI anxiety, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention of use from 254 pre-service teachers. The structural relationships and direct and indirect effects between these variables were examined through structural equation modeling. The results indicated that self-efficacy significantly affected perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use. In contrast, AI anxiety did not significantly influence perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Perceived ease of use significantly affected perceived usefulness and intention to use and perceived usefulness significantly affected intention to use. The findings offer insights and strategies for encouraging the use of 'knock-knock! mathematics expedition' by preservice teachers in mathematics lessons.

A Study on Attitudes and Acceptance of Port Digital Transformation (항만 디지털 전환에 대한 수용태도와 수용성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive factors that affect the acceptance of digital transformation in ports and empirically analyze the impact of these factors on the acceptance of digital transformation through a survey of port workers. Additionally, we test whether acceptance attitude plays a mediating role in the relationship between these factors and digital transformation acceptance. The variables used in this study are as follows. First, knowledge, self-efficacy, and involvement were included as variables related to individual characteristics, relative advantages, complexity, observability were included as variables related to innovation characteristics, and government regulations and competitor pressure were included as variables relate to environmental characteristics, so that a total of eight latent variables were selected. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, two variables among individual characteristics, self-efficacy and involvement, were able to confirm a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, and knowledge initially expected a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, but the result was a negative(-) causal relationship, so that the hypothesis was rejected. Second, among the characteristics of innovation, complexity has a negative(-) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, and relative advantages and technological innovation have a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation. Finally, among the environmental characteristics, government regulations and competitor pressure, confirmed a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation. In addition, it was found that the attitude of accepting digital transformation had a positive(+) causal relationship with personal acceptance and social acceptance of digital transformation.

  • This study is about the special quality which has craft-kitsch as a typical objects in modern mass consumption society. Today, kitsch is one of the most general object for understanding of our lifestyle. Accordingly, there is close correlation between craft objects and kitsch. But, discussions on the relation between craft and kitsch have not dealt quite satisfied up to the present. This paper draws up as a basic study on craft-kitsch.   • The accelerating growth in Technology-Based Self-Service (TBSS) today is giving rise to questions about the acceptance of such forms of service delivery by all kinds of consumers. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and TBSS quality evaluation model as a theoretical framework, this study investigates the effects of perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use, enjoyment of users acceptance of TBSS and self-monitoring as a individual variable. The results lend support to the hypothesist. Implications for service practitioners as well as directions for future research are discussed.

A Meta-analysis and Review of External Factors the Perceived Usefulness and Ease of Use on Smartphone (스마트폰의 인지된 유용성과 사용 용이성에 미치는 선행요인 문헌적 고찰 및 메타분석)

  • 기술수용모델은 지난 20년 동안 많은 주제로 다루어지고 있으며 지금도 여전히 계속 연구되어 오고 있다. 메타분석은 여러 실증연구의 정량적인 결과를 통합과 분석을 통해 전체 결과를 조망할 기회를 제공하는 통계적 통합 방법이다. 최근 스마트폰 관련 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 시점에 기술수용모델을 기반으로 선행 요인에 관한 문헌적 고찰과 메타분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 2013년 이전 국내 학술지에 게재된 연구 중 기술수용모델의 인과관계를 설정한 총 106편의 연구논문을 대상으로 하였다. 메타분석의 결과, 선행 요인과 인지된 유용성의 경로에 가장 큰 효과 크기는 유희성으로 나타났다. 인지된 유용성과 유희성의 경로에 효과 크기는 0.536이었다. 그리고 선행 요인과 인지된 사용 용이성의 경로에 가장 큰 효과 크기는 자기 효능감으로 나타났다. 인지된 사용 용이성과 자기 효능감 경로에 효과 크기는 0.626이었다. 분석결과를 통해 이론적 실무적 시사점을 논의 하고자 한다.
