  • Even though there are many discussions about how to plan new content, it is difficult to find the discourse about planning new content in media academy. I tried to check how useful the semantics is in planning new content by autoethnography and how liberal art approach connect with content production field. As I had had no experience of making new current issue program, I chose forced connection method to develop new program's title 'Danbak'. By listing the meaning of 'Danbak' which means 'at once', 'without delay', 'on the spot', 'frankly', I could arrange new mechanism for the program and decide whom to invite and this could be called content planning method by semantics. This is the result of forced production environment characterized by short period for planning and small team and it shows that liberal art approach is useful enough.

  • This study is to explore how the bondage of street homeless is made and what it implies. In order to do so, this study does participation-observation for the life of the homeless on the street and drop-in-center according to the ethno-graphic research tradition. Starting from the August of 2005, during the period of six months, we did a field study on the actual conditions of facilities for the homeless in the major parts in Seoul and collected the interview data through the interview-in-depth with 8 homeless people. Following the data-analysis procedures of Spradley(1979), we identified the main domains related to the factors for the bonding of street homeless. These domains show us how the homeless people who were left in the whole new world of homelessness just manage to tide over the crisis of identity and survival. The bondage of street homeless in the situation of street homelessness has been shown to have these following meanings: (1) the cultural significance as their second home, (2) the meaning of an alternative group to be admitted, (3) the maintenance of self-identity by way of distinction in the group. According to these, the self-identity of homeless is dual and, therefore, the meaning and interpretation of their relationship is also dual. This dualistic attitude comes from the process in which the homeless acquire the alliance-resource for the very survival and self-existence. The results of this study confirm that the homeless suffer from the lack of true relationship as well as resources. This study suggests that the supporting policies and services for the street homeless should be achieved qualitatively and integrated under a long range plan.

Theoretical model about stigma of the family having old people admitted to nursing home by the research result in the above was able to be confirmed that it was expressed with the original form of thought of recursive system which continuously showing the inconsistency of decision making, rationalizing decision making, and shifting one's own responsibility in the process of accomplishing the duty of supporting old people. • Scriptwriters have appeared in Korea's broadcasting production system for more than 40 years as a key producer. This study specifically investigated the work identity and labor experience of scriptwriters who have played countless roles from planning and organizing programs in various broadcast genres such as non-drama informative program, entertainment, news, and radio to script writing. As a result of examining the work identity and labor experience of the scriptwriters based on the auto-ethnography of the 20 scriptwriters working in the field, they felt that they had an " indispensable" program producer and a media culture producer and at the same time felt that they were taking on tasks that were unclear. They felt that the cause of this inequality was a problem of the production system and employment type, but they recognized that they could not be solved individually, and they were developing their own skills or building connections to get work, and expanding their areas unconditionally.

  • With the advent of the OTT platform, the world has become an era in which the same media content is shared and reacted in real time by being grouped into one culture. This study attempts a producer study of web novel writers, who are producers of the web novel market that is expanding into webtoons, dramas, and movies with IP (intellectual property rights) of the original story at a time when Korean K-content such as "Squid Game" and "Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo" leads the global market. In this study, web novel writers were viewed as producers of commercial media content, not just 'Novelist', and their identities and characteristics of the labor process were examined. Web novel writers began writing web novels as a side job or two jobs, and cited the fact that they can make profits alone without barriers to entry and without incurring capital or facility costs. Although there is no barrier to entry, most writers experience severe failure in their first work, which is attributed to the misunderstanding that the word "writer" is someone who writes what they want in any genre. Web novels are different, so writers go through the process of realizing that in order to succeed by writing web novels, they must be thoroughly in the audience's shoes and write them according to the trends and codes they want. Web novel writers expressed their identity as "story sellers," "story producers," "people who can produce IP alone," and "people who satisfy fantasies that cannot be achieved in reality," and in common, there was a strong sense of being a person who provides stories and makes profits or sales. Regarding the burden of writing a huge amount of web novels, the writer with a high income expressed a generous position that "the income is higher than the effort," but ordinary writers complained of difficulties in the hard work, saying, "It seems like I am working hard on writing that I have to write constantly.
