A Distributed Real-time Self-Diagnosis System for Processing Large Amounts of Log Data (대용량 로그 데이터 처리를 위한 분산 실시간 자가 진단 시스템)

  • Distributed computing helps to efficiently store and process large data on a cluster of multiple machines. The performance of distributed computing is greatly influenced depending on the state of the servers constituting the distributed system. In this paper, we propose a self-diagnosis system that collects log data in a distributed system, detects anomalies and visualizes the results in real time. First, we divide the self-diagnosis process into five stages: collecting, delivering, analyzing, storing, and visualizing stages. Next, we design a real-time self-diagnosis system that meets the goals of real-time, scalability, and high availability. The proposed system is based on Apache Flume, Apache Kafka, and Apache Storm, which are representative real-time distributed techniques. In addition, we use simple but effective moving average and 3-sigma based anomaly detection technique to minimize the delay of log data processing during the self-diagnosis process. Through the results of this paper, we can construct a distributed real-time self-diagnosis solution that can diagnose server status in real time in a complicated distributed system.

  • WSN is composed of a lot of small sensors with the limited hardware resources. In WSN, at the initial stage, sensor nodes are randomly deployed over the region of interest, and self-configure the clustered networks by grouping a bunch of sensor nodes and selecting a cluster header among them. Specially, in WSN environment, in which the administrator's intervention is restricted, the self-configuration capability is essential to establish a power-conservative WSN which provides broad sensing coverage and communication coverage. In this paper, we propose a communication coverage-aware cluster head election algorithm for Herearchical WSNs which consists of communication coverage-aware of the Base station is the cluster head node is elected and a clustering.

  • 물체 인식 및 추적 기술은 기계가 영상 정보를 기반으로 주변을 인지하고 정황을 파악하는 컴퓨터 비전 분야의 매우 중요한 연구 영역 중 하나이다. 현재까지 이러한 물체 인식/추적에 대한 다양한 연구들이 있어 왔고, 최근 증강현실에 대한 높은 관심을 바탕으로 증강현실을 위한 영상 정보 기반의 정확하고 정교한 추적 기술에 대한 관심 또한 매우 높아졌다. 본 논문에서는 텍스쳐가 없는 단색의 블록에 대해 증강현실을 실현하기 위한 물체 추적 방식을 제안한다. 제안하는 방식은 다수의 블록들을 조합하여 구성하고, 이 조합으로부터 추출한 특징점에 색상 정보 기반의 지역 서술자를 정의함으로써 사전에 정의된 서술자와 의 비교를 통해 물체를 추적하는 방식이다. 제안된 추적 방식은 사전에 기준이 되는 지역 서술자를 정의함에 있어서 기준 영상에 다양한 어파인 변환을 적용함으로써 카메라와 대상물과의 각도가 큰 입력 영상에 대해서도 추적에 실패하지 않는다. 실험을 통해 제안된 방식을 집 모양으로 구성한 블록 조합에 적용하여 3차원 가상 콘텐츠를 증강시켜 봄으로써 제안된 방식의 유용성을 확인하였다. 제안된 방식은 텍스쳐가 없는 환경에서 사용자의 상호작용으로 텍스쳐를 구성하고 이를 추적하는 방식으로 향후 아이들을 위한 교육 프로그램, 모바일 기기에서의 응용 프로그램 등으로 적용 가능하다.

  • 본 논문에서는 그동안 연구 및 개발해온 분산객체그룹 프레임워크로부터 새로운 분산서비스들을 추가한 확장 분산객체그룹 프레임워크를 제안한다. 확장 분산객체그룹 프레임워크는 기존 프레임워크의 구성요소들과 이들에 의해 제공되는 서비스들은 그대로 유지하고, 분산 프로그램 개발 툴(Distributed Programming Developing Tool, DPD-Tool), 모바일 프락시 및 컨텍스트 제공자 구성요소들을 새롭게 추가하였다. 각 구성요소의 제공 서비스를 살펴보면, DPD-Tool은 분산객체그룹 프레임워크의 지원을 받아 클라이언트, 서버 프로그램 개발자 및 분산응용 관리자 GUI를 통해 쉽고 편리하게 분산 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 도구이다. 모바일 프락시는 분산응용 서비스를 요청하는 이동 사용자의 위치를 기반으로 서비스 수행의 연속성을 지원한다. 그리고 컨텍스트 제공자는 하드웨어 기기 및 센서들로부터의 상황인식 및 추론 기술을 제공한다. 또한, 본 확장 프레임워크는 분산자원의 특성에 따라 다양한 속성정보를 통합 관리하기 위한 정보저장소 기술을 포함하며, 기존서비스 뿐만 아니라 새롭게 추가한 분산서비스들의 지원을 통해 분산응용의 수행성을 보장하도록 한다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서는 다양한 분산서비스에 맞추어 상황별로 적응 지원이 가능하며, 분산 프로그램을 용이하게 개발할 수 있는 도구를 함께 제공하고 있는 통합 프레임워크를 제시한다..

  • WSN is composed of a lot of small sensors with the limited hardware resources. In WSN, at the initial stage, sensor nodes are randomly deployed over the region of interest, and self-configure the clustered networks by grouping a bunch of sensor nodes and selecting a cluster header among them. In this paper, we propose a self-configuration routing protocol for WSN, which consists of step-wise ripple routing algorithm for initial deployment, effective joining of sensor nodes. RRA is search node in RF-coverage of each node, which result in fast network connection, reducing overall power consumption, and extending the lifetime of network.

Analysis of Integrated Korean Textbooks Based on the Components of Writing Tasks for Performance (수행을 위한 쓰기 과제의 구성요소를 기반으로 한 통합형 한국어교재 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze through the integrated textbooks whether writing tasks are designed to be successful in cultivating students' writing abilities in the general-purpose Korean language education. First, we established the concept and the components of the writing task based on the definitions mentioned in previous research. The analysis of the types of writing tasks revealed "free writing" and "imitation and writing" to be the most frequent types of writing tasks in both textbooks. The textbooks have only twenty-one subjects in common. And most instructions provide only themes and genres, excluding the purpose, form, quantity, and time necessary for the article or for comprehending the instructions. In these tasks, the reading passages are most often explanatory text. The scoring criteria and time were not provided for the evaluation criteria and other factors. Therefore it became necessary to express the components of the writing task as explicitly and concretely as possible to improve learners' performances.

A Qualitative Study on the Exploration of the Constructs of the Characteristics of At-Risk Learners in the Blind Spots of Education (일반교사가 지각하는 교육사각지대 학습자 특성의 구성개념 탐색 - CQR-M을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aimed to explore the constructs of the characteristics of at-risk learners with diverse educational needs in the blind spots of education, in order to understand them comprehensively and detect them early in schools. Participants were 156 elementary, middle, and high school teachers who filled out a semi-structured questionnaire consisting of open questions about their implicit knowledge of the characteristics of at-risk learners in the blind spots of education. Qualitative data were analyzed using a modified consensual qualitative research method. The main findings of this study are as follows. First, five domains and 16 categories were derived as the main constructs of the characteristics of learners in the blind spots of education. Second, the most listed of the five domains was the "domain of low learning and cognition," whereas the least listed domain was the "everyday life domain." Finally, deficiencies of interpersonal skills and interactive communications and categories related to family structure and functions frequently appeared among the 16 categories. Based on these results, implications and potentials for follow-up studies were further discussed.

  • Learners who have taken learner-centered instruction is expected to construct conceptually mathematical knowledge which is. If so, they can have some ability to solve problems they are confronted with in the first time. To know this, First graders who have been in learner-centered instruction during 1 school year was given 7+52+186 which usually appears in the national curriculum for 3rd grade. According to the results, most of them have constructed the logic necessary to solve the given problem to them, and actually solve it. From this, it can be concluded that first, even though learners are 1st graders they can construct mathematical knowledge abstractly, second, they can apply it to the new problem, and third consequently they can got a good score in a achievement test.

Physical Education Teachers' Meaning Construction and Practice of Learner-centered Physical Education (학습자 중심 체육교육에 대한 체육교사의 의미구성과 실천)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions and beliefs of physical education teachers regarding learner-centered physical education and to qualitatively explore the stories of physical education teachers that appear in the field of practicing physical education curriculum. The research method was qualitative research, and data were collected and recorded through semi-structured questionnaires, individual interviews, group interviews, and metaphor records, and the data were analyzed through domain analysis and classification analysis. The study was able to derive results by dividing them into 'learner focus', 'overall development', and learning evaluation' in relation to physical education teachers' meaning construction of learner-centered physical education. And the practice of learner-centered physical education and its limitations were presented. In conclusion, the holistic development of learner-centered physical education includes addressing physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. It is believed that this approach will not only measure student progress but also actively contribute to their development as individuals.

Construction of Learner's Differential Contents for Self-Directed Learning (자기주도적 학습을 위한 학습자 수준별 콘텐츠 구성)

  • A lot of learning systems are applying self-directed learning to increase learner's learning effect. But most of this methods are hardly applied to fit the construction of learning contents considering learner's characteristics or it was processing the learning course without learner's choice. In this research, we proposed the recommendation method that can support the learning contents as calculate learner's preference contents based on learning history information when learner design the learning course. In the result, we chose test learner group and was able to know to generally increase average score of each learner after test between existing method and proposal one.
