  • 도서관은 공공서비스 중에서도 강제적인 서비스가 아니고 임의적인 또는 생활의 질과 관련되는 서비스이기 때문에 서비스 수요는 접근용이성이나 주변환경 등의 영향을 받게 된다. 그러나 지금까지 우리나라의 공공도서관의 입지결정은 정책결정자의 의지나 경험이 크게 작용하여 이용자의 이용측면을 고려하지 않고 설립되었다. 본 연구는 공공도서관의 입지와 이용과의 관련성을 밝히기 위하여 이용자가 인지하는 접근용이성과 주변환경의 주관적 인지도를 측정하고 이용이 높은 도서관과 이용이 낮은 도서관간의 차이를 밝힘으로써 앞으로의 공공도서관의 입지선장에 유용한 자료를 제시하는 데 그 목적을 두었다.

소상공서비스업체의 입지요인과 경영성과에 관한 실증연구 - 미용서비스업체를 대상으로 -

  • 본 연구는 본점 주소지 거주 주민에 의해 그 매출액을 현저히 영향을 받는다고 생각되는 소상공 서비스업체들 중 미용서비스업체의 점포 선택 결정요인을 관심 변수로 다루었다. 입지요인에 의해 영향을 받는 경영성과 측정 변수를 경영자의 만족도나 소비자의 충성도 측면에서만 진행하지 않고 미용서비스업체의 성과인 실제 매출액과 방문자수를 활용하여 연구하였다는 점에서 선행연구와 큰 차이가 있다. 본 연구 결과는 미용서비스업체의 점포입지요인중 가시성 접근성이 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 또한 미용시술의자수가 매출액과는 (+)의 관계를 디자이너 1인당 매출액에는 (-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 미용서비스업체에 대한 분석을 하여 다른 소상공서비스업체에 확산 적용하는데는 한계가 있다. 또한 입지특성에 있어서도 유의적 영향을 미치는 추가적인 입지 변수들을 발견할 필요가 있다.

Evaluating location suitability of Park-and-Ride facilities using GIS (GIS를 이용한 환승시설 입지 적합도 평가)

  • Park-and- Rides are intermodal transfer facilities providing a staging location for travellers to transfer between transportation modes. They are an alternative to alleviate transportation problems such as traffic congestion and air pollution in metropolitan areas. Siting Park-and-Ride facilities belongs to a kind of multi-criteria spatial decision making problems being associated with a combination of various location factors. The purpose of this paper is to provide a method and procedure to evaluate the location suitability of Park-and-Ride facilities using GIS(Geographic Information Systems). Using GIS-based suitability analysis, land value, landuse, road accessibility, public transportation accessibility, possibility to intercept automobile trips, distance to activity center and competition with existing facilities were evaluated as location factors. The suitabilities of individual factors were combined to produce a composite map with a specific weight scheme. Then a given number of sites with high suitability score were selected as potential facility locations and their demand were evaluated based on a commutershed with parabolic shape. The suggested method and procedure will provide useful information in determining Park-and-Ride sites and designing their structure.

  • This study tries to analyze the investment determinants of Chinese firms in local Korea, where the Chinese investing ones have been operating since in the middle of 1990s. The main purpose can be mentioned to test empirically some relations between the investment determinants of Chinese firms and the investment types. In detail speaking, the dependent variables of investment types are classified with sole venture and joint venture, while the independent ones are sorted based on the previous studies with the 2 following factors like the competitive advantages of Chinese firms, and the location advantages of local Korea. This study is conducted as the following: the survey of Chinese firms engaging in investment activities in there is implemented by collecting questionnaires. And for testing the hypothesis, the path analysis of structural equation modeling is activated with SPSS. 12.0 and AMOS 11.0 for windows.

  • In general, most of the firms do not settle down in one place for their pursuit of profit. There are many reasons for the relocation of the firms; procurement of raw material, market area, transportation cost and housing cost. The aspect of national policy, firm relocation has been systemically promoted for the purpose of logistics system efficiency. Nowadays balanced regional development has been issue. Another aspect, many countries have struggled for the preoccupancy of new place because of its production cost saving and curtailment of expenditure. The aim of this article is qualitative and quantitative analysis of relocation influence factors of domestic goods firms in Korea. This article dynamically analyzed the relocation influence factors for domestic goods firms in Korea. For the analysis this article made use of complementary survey (2006) out of the 3rd national logistics survey (2005). The complementary survey conducted pre-business district, business period, relocation reason, etc. This article dynamically analyzed from the three aspects; observation of average residence time in one business district, relocation factors, influence of market area. Analysis shows that relocation of firm is very high rate and the reasons of relocation play compositeness role. The results of determinants of location, firms approach the established market area closely and the firm's relocation is influenced by market area.

  • Plant location selection is a decision which requires huge investment and entails a significant impact in a longer-term. The petrochemical industry, in particular, is so capital- and technology-intensive that the firms in the industry pursue enhancing competitiveness through collaboration and integration among entities in their supply chains. Even though the logistics factor such as logistics costs and connectivity have, as a result, gained its importance in plant location decision making, this has rarely studies in empirical studies. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relative importance of the logistics factor in plant location decision making in the petrochemical industry using the multi-criteria decision-making approach. In addition the three representative petrochemical industrial complexes are evaluated by the factors used in this study. This study is able to provide the useful implication in both practical and policy-making aspects. Firms are required to consider the logistics factors with priority compared to other factors in plant location decision making. In addition, when federal or local governments build industrial sites and attract the petrochemical firm, logistics infrastructure should also be considered to provide better transportation connectivity and lower logistics costs in turn.

  • 대형할인점의 출현은 비록 시장 경제의 원칙에 따른다고 하지만, 궁극적으로 도시의 토지이용과 도시 시설계획 그리고 시민의 일상생활의 편익에 많은 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 합리적인 토지이용계획과 도시시설계획을 수립하기 위해서는 대형할인점의 입지 특성을 고려하여 입지선정이 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 대형할인점의 최적 입지를 선정하고자, 영업면적이 $3000m^2$이상인 대형할인점에 대한 입지 요인을 토지이용, 도시시설 그리고 시민의 일상생활을 구성하는 물리적 요인의 관점에서 살펴보아 그 특성을 요약하여 도출하고자 한다. 그리고 이를 기반으로 GIS와 AHP를 통합 이용하여 정확하고, 효율적으로 최적입지를 선정하고자 한다.

A Study on the Explanatory Analysis of Determinants for Location (도시의 입지결정요인 추출에 관한 연구)

  • Although the comparative advantage of cities is emphasized in the context of transition into an information-oriented society and globalization, it is difficult to define the concept and evaluate the status of each city. There have been many studies and appraisals on urban competitiveness with common features of subjective standards by researchers. This study aims at extracting determinants of competitive advantage of location by not normative but data-based approach, and deals with panel data concerning 21 cities in capital region. Factor Analysis, a kind of multivariate methods, is taken up for the purpose and results in various findings. Time-serial 5-factor models constructed by the analysis show temporal variability in the determinants and have non-exhaustive and overlapped categories. This study also finds that 'educational base' is emphasized as a leading determinant and 'health, welfare and public services' factor is getting more important. The other potential factor explaining variables such as college and museum is also emerging, which is considered as an element to attract people from outside. And the fact that traditionally expected factors regarding industrial or productive basis is not drawn out indicates the other way of thinking on the relationship between the essential function of cities and industrial foundation.

Optimal Location Allocation of CCTV Using 3D Simulation (3차원 시뮬레이션을 활용한 CCTV 최적입지선정)

  • This study aims to establish a simulation method for CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) sight area. The simulation incorporates variables for computing CCTV sight area including CCTV specifications and installation. Currently CCTV is used for traffic, crime prevention and fire prevention by local governments. However, new locations are selected by administrator decision rather than analysis of the optimal location. In order to determine optimum location, a method to CCTV compute range is needed, which incorporates specifications according to CCTV purpose. For this purpose, limitations of previous research methods must be recognized and the simulation method must supplement these limitations. Here in this study, we derived CCTV sight area variables for realistic analysis to complement the limitations of previous studies. A total of eight elements were derived from image device sensors and installation: wide angle, height, angle, setting height, setting angle, and others. This research implemented a 3D simulation technique that can be applied to the derived factors and automate them using ArcObject and Visual C#. This simulation method can calculate sight range in accordance with CCTV specifications. Furthermore, when installing additional CCTVs, it can derive optimal allocation position. The results of this study will provide rational choices for specification selection and CCTV location by interagency collaborative projects.
