This paper elucidates the characteristics of transnational adoption, estimates the possibility of beyond-borders identity of transnational adoptees, and tries to analyze Jane Jeong Trenka's The Language of Blood in its context. Though it has been regarded as one of the most humanitarian ways of helping orphans and poor children of the world, transnational adoption, a one-way flow of children from poor Asian countries to rich white countries, has been operated under the market logic between countries. Transnational adoptees, who had been abandoned and forced to be taken away from their birth mother, and later, to fulfill the desire of white parents for a perfect family, perform an ideological labor, serving to make the heterogeneous nuclear family complete. Korean transnational adoptees, forced to transcend the borders of nation, culture, and ethnicity, experience racial conflict and alienation in white adoptive family and society. Their diaspora experience of violent dislocation creates frustration and confusion in establishing their identity as a whole being. When they return to Korea to find their birth mother and their true identity, Korean adoptees, however, are faced with other obstructing issues, such as language problem, culture conflict, and maternal nationalism. Finally, Korean transnational adoptees reject Korean nationalism discourse based on blood, and try to redefine themselves as beyond-borders subjectivities with new and fluid identities. Jane Jeong Trenka's The Language of Blood, an autobiographical novel based on her experiences as a transnational adoptee, represents a Korean adopted girl's personal, cultural, and racial conflict within her white adoptive family, and questions the image of benevolent white mother and the myth of multiculturalism. The novel further represents Jane's return to Korea to find out her true identity, and shows Jane's disappointment and alienation in her birth country due to her ignorance of language and culture. Returning to USA again, and trying to be reconciled with her American mother, Jane shows the promise of accepting her new identity capable of transcending the borders, and thus, the possibility of enlarging the category of belonging.

해마다 연말이 되면 13번째 월급이라 불리는 연말 정산이 기다리고 있다. 연말 정산 관련 규정은 매년 약간의 개정 사항이 생긴다. 이에 따라 개정 사항을 일목요연하게 정리해 본인에게 해당 사항이 있는지 살펴봐야 혜택을 놓치지 않고 챙길 수 있다. 이번 호에서는 올해부터 바뀌는 연말 정산 관련 사항에 대해 알아보자.

2005년도의 경우 보호를 필요로 하는 아동이 8,468명 발생하여 4,818명(51.1%)이 시설에서 보호를 받고 1,873여명은 입양(19.9%), 407명은 소년소녀가정(4.3%), 그리고 나머지 2,322명(24.6%)정도만이 가정위탁 되어 지고 있다. 매년 위탁가정과 아동이 증가하고 있으며, 소년소녀가정 세대의 전환여부에 따라 지역별로 많은 차이가 있다.

교통계획의 수립은 사람과 화물의 이동상태에 대한 파악으로부터 시작되며 화물이동상태를 파악 하기 위한 가장 기본적인 데이터는 지역별 발생집중 화물량일 것이다. 이러한 지역별 발생집중 화물량의 추계방법중 추계의 간편성과 경제상황변화의 반영이 용이하다는 점에서, 최근 학자들의 상당한 주목 을 받으며 연구되고 있는 것이 산업연관분석을 응용한 물류해석방법이다. 그러나 이방법은 대상지역의 산업연관표를 기본 data로 하기 때문에 해당지역의 산업연관표의 존재 여부에 따라서 그 적용범위가 제한된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 연구되고 있는 방법이 Nonsurvey법이다. Nonsurvey법은 대 지역의 산업연관표로부터 그 지역에 포함된 소지역의 산업연관표를 여러 가지 보조적인 데이터를 이용해 서 간접적으로 추계하는 방법이다. 본연구에서는 이러한 Nonsurvey법의 하나로서 대지역의 산업연관표 와 지역분해된 각 소지역의 산업부문별 생산량만을 이용해서 각 소지역의 발생집중화물량을 추계하는 방법을 제안했다. 그리고 일본의 긴키(Kinki)지역과 이에 속하는 4부현을 대상으로 본연구의 방법으로 추계된 이출입양과 실제의 산업연관표상의 이출입량을 비교.분석함으로써 본 연구의 방법에 대한 검증을 실시했다. 본 연구에서 제아한 지역별 발생집중 화물량 추계방법의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대지역내 각 소지역간의 이출입량이 분기계수라고 하는 산업관계표의 산업관계표의 행방향의 합에 대한 비율을 사용함으로서 간단히 추계가능 하다. 둘째, 추계된 소지역의 산업관계표는 대지역에 대한 시스템전체의 정합성이 유지된다. 셋째 분해되는 소지역의 수에 관계없이 각소지역의 이출입양에 대한 추계가 가능하다.

About 350 shelters nationwide go through about 100,000 organic animals every year. If you are not adopted by the adoption candidate, you will be euthanized in just one out of every fourteen days after entering the shelter. Therefore, in order to prevent the occurrence of organic animals, it is necessary to register the companion animal easily and to register the inscription to manage the history. In this paper, we propose a local technician who can describe feature points in inscription images to develop recognition technology through inscription, which can distinguish companion animals such as human fingerprints.

Sung Yung Shin was adopted as a Korean infant to an American family. She is now one of the most important writers in Asian American literary field. This paper analyzes the characteristics of her literature, focusing on Skirt full of Black (poetry)and Cooper's Lesson(children's book). Sun Yung Shin uses collage in Skirt full of Black as an effective rhetorical device because it can express her experience as an adopted other in the multicultural American society. She rewrites the fairy tale of Swan Prince in the viewpoint of silence. For a yellow Asian adopted woman, speaking is suppressed. In the end, the attempt to escape from silence is the writer's resisting activity, and the rewriting of the tale is her questioning in place of the princess. I analyses Cooper's Lesson in the viewpoint of transcultural assimilation. Cooper's lesson is accomplished not by his white father but by a Korean settler, Mr. Lee. Cooper's family is a hybrid composed of white American father, Korean mother, and their half son. So this family has many complicated difficulties, though it's small. Mr. Lee who accepted a new language to establish a new identity teaches Cooper the importance of cultural assimilation, which is not a one-sided integration to dominant culture but an intercultural communion while sustaining each culture's singularity. Cooper learns that he should live in an harmonious and balanced life in a multi-cultural society while keeping his own subjective point of view.

반려동물을 입양하는 가구수는 매년 증가하고 있고 반려인과 반려동물들의 길거리 치안은 위협받고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 반려인이 반려동물과 함께 안전한 외출을 할 수 있도록 '반려동물과 함께하는 안심산책 지도' 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 본 연구의 애플리케이션은 Geofence API를 사용해 안심등급을 산출하여 반려인들과 반려동물을 보다 안전한 환경에 있도록 한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of twitter influenctials on users' willingness on express opinions. Based on the spiral of silence and corrective action hypothesis, the contradictory hypotheses were drawn. The online expeiment was conducted to verify which hypothesis is valid. Participant were assigned to the four experimenatal conditons: a famous influential's twit which agrees with the issue; a famous influential's twit which disagrees with the issue; an ordinary influential's twit to agree with the issue; an ordinary influential's twit to disagree with the issue. Results showed that opinion congruency with a twitter influential did not influence participants' willingness to express opinion online and offline, but the interaction effect with the type of influentials was found. Opinion dissonance with an ordinary tiwtterian increased willingness to express opinion. The findings suggest that twitter influentials, particulary an ordinary influentials with differnet opinions, can motivate users to express their own opinion.

Unlike the past several decades when over 90% of unwed mothers chose to adopt their children, the number of never-married mothers who determine to raise their children for themselves has recently been increasing. However, many unwed mothers are still suffering from a diversity of problems including poverty, discrimination and biased stereotypes. To this end, this study aims to observe the development process of social policy for unwed mothers in Korea, with a special focus on the policy paradigm shift, and examine current social services for never-married mothers and their children. The results of the study shows the paradigm shift of social policy for unwed mothers occurred around the mid-2000's towards helping never-married mothers rear their children. However, social services for them have not kept pace with the paradigm change, which makes still very much hard for unwed mothers to raise their kids on their own. The study concludes with policy implications for improving social services for families headed by never-married mothers.
