신권 지폐식별기, 위변조 지폐 입수 파장 확산-산업계 대책 마련 시급

  • 지난 7월 10일 MBC뉴스 데스크는 가짜 지폐도 입수하는 '눈먼 자판기' 실태를 고발 취재해 큰 반향을 불러 일으켰다. 지폐식별기의 생명이 품질 신뢰성인데 위폐에 뻥뻥 뚫리는 제품들이 유동되고 있다는 사실은 충격적이었다. 이같은 현상은 자판기에 대한 큰 불신을 초래할 뿐만 아니라 모방범죄 및 조직적 위폐 확산을 불러일으킬 가능성이 크다는 점에서 심각한 문제가 아닐 수 없다. 그 동안 지폐식별기 분야가 품질에 대한 신뢰성을 철저히 검증하지 못하고 양적인 시장 확대에만 매달린 폐단이 비로소 나타나고 있는 것이다. 그나마 다행이라면 위폐문제가 일찌감치 공론화가 되어 산업계가 품질에 대해 경각심을 가질 수 있게 되었다는 점이다. 제품이 우후죽순처럼 깔린 상항에서 문제가 불거지면 걷잡을 수 없는 상황에 빠질 수 있지만, 산업계는 이제라도 적극적인 대책을 마련한다면 전화위복의 기회로 삼을 수가 있다. 협회에서도 사태의 심각성을 반영, 산업계의 현명하고도 신속한 대응을 위해 자판기 관련 업체를 대상으로 "신권용 지폐식별기 '위변조 지폐 사용 확산방지'를 위한 협조 요청" 공문을 발송했다. 산업계가 위변조 지폐 입수 사태에 대해 적극적인 대응책을 모색하려면 현재의 문제점에 대한 엄밀히 진단하는 것이 우선시되어야 한다. 불거진 위변조 지폐 입수 실태의 면면을 살펴보고, 산업계가 어떠한 대책을 마련해야 하는 지를 진단했다.

  • Nowadays, large container ships are continually developed and that's why the bow and stern structural stability problems by slamming become a significant more and more. However, due to the complexity of slamming, it is difficult to consider those problems at the design stage. For this reason, we attempt numerical analysis through SNUFOAM by generating the bow and stern two-dimensional cross-sectional grid in WILS JIP experiment at KRISO. Unlike the conventional method for the computation time saving, by setting the inlet flow conditions referred to the model test, we analyzed the slamming without applying the grid deformation method. As a result, when the stern model, as in the previous studies, it was possible to obtain quantitatively the fluid impulse is close to the experimental results. When the bow model, we can found the change by the position of force sensors which are derived for the bulbous bow and obtained fluid impulse and flow shape at slamming similar to the model test.

  • This paper presents the experimental results on slamming phenomenon. The air pressure cylinder was used to ensure repeatability of the impact. The results showed that the adopted experimental technique was excellent in terms of repeatability, compared to that of the free drop tests. The pressure time histories, magnitude of peak pressure and the behavior of jetspray were obtained. The flat specimen was tested for various incident angles. To estimate the incident speed of the specimen, a high-speed camera was used. The high-speed camera was also a useful tool in understanding the behavior.

The flow field has been obtained by 2-frame grey level cross correlation PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) method, the impact presure of free fall structure by a pressure acquisition system apply to Dewetron system. The angles between a model and the free surface are adapted $15^{\circ}$, $25^{\circ}$, $35^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ respectively. Velocity field of water exit has higher better than water entry. The impact pressure under the bottom of the model ha been appeared higher values at 15 degrees than 45 degrees, and also at P1.

  • A ship operating under rough sea conditions is exposed to a slamming load due owing to its motion relative to encountered waves. In the process of reentering the water, the ship's structure is temporarily subjected to an impact pressure. In particular, bow flare slamming often occurs in large container ships with a large flare angle, and can cause structural damage. Numerical simulations were performed in this study, and the results were compared with reliable experimental results. The simulation results were also used to estimate the bow flare slamming pressures on a container ship under head sea and oblique sea conditions. It was found that a maximum impact pressure of 475 kPa was generated near the 0.975 station of the container ship under a head sea condition.

  • In rough seas, bow-flare regions of the fine ships (container ship and PCC) are subject to high impact pressures due to the bow-flare slamming. And many ships suffer structural damages in that region, even though they were built under the bow structure strengthening rules of the ship classes. So, a new design method for bow-flare structure is highly required. In this paper, a new prediction method of the bow-flare impact pressure (in terms of equivalent static pressure) acting on the fine ships' bow is presented. This method is based on the 11 fine ships' damage analysis and the mechanisms of water entry impact and breaking wave impact. Calculation results of the bow-flare impact pressure and the shell plate thickness are shown and discussed. Through the example calculations, it was found that the present method is useful for the structure design of the fine ships' bow.

  • This paper presents the results of slamming experiment using air pressure cylinder to increase the repeatability of the experiment. When it comes to the slamming experiment, the traditional way of doing it has been the free fall experiment. By adopting air pressure cylinder almost equal peak pressures were obtained with that of free fall experiment. Jet takes place when the wedge enters water. Slamming doesn't take place when Dead rise angle is more then 20 degrees.

  • 고분자 복합재료들은 오늘날 광범위하게 마찰 부위들에 응용되고 있다. 다양한 첨가제와 보강재들이 고분자 물질들에 넣어져 강도와 마모 특성들을 향상 시키고 있다. 예를 들어, 다양한 복합재료들로서 현재 입수 가능한 것에 베어링 재료들이 있으며 이에 포함되는 것이 자체 윤활 보강 플라스틱 들이며 이들에는 고체 윤활제, 즉, 테플톤, $MoS_2$, 혹은 흑연가루들이 첨가된다. 실험적 그리고 이론적인 연구들이 여러 조건들에서의 섬유 보강 복합 재료들의 마모 거동에 대하여 보고되었다(예를 들어, 미끄럼 마모, 연마 마모, 입자 충격 마모, 비빔 마모). Tsukizoe와 Ohmae의 보고에 의하면 탄성계수 탄소섬유 복합재료는 가장 적은 마모가 횡단 방향(Transverse)에서 있고, 고 강도 탄소 섬유 복합재료는 길이 방향(Longitudinal)에서 있다. 가장 많은 마모는, 고 탄성계수 복합재료는 길이 방향에서, 고 강도 섬유 복합재료는 횡단 방향에서 잇다. 그들이 또한 발표한 것은 양쪽의 고 탄성계수와 고 강도 섬유 복합재료들의 수직방향(Norma)에서 눌러 불음(Seizure)가 일어났다고 한다.
