Case Analysis on Platform Business Models for IT Service Planning (IT서비스 기획을 위한 플랫폼 비즈니스 모델 사례 분석연구)

  • Due to the rapid development of ICT, corporate business models quickly changed and because of the radical growth of IT technology, sequential or gradual survival has become difficult. Internet-based new businesses such as IT service companies are seeking for new convergence business models that have not existed before to create business models that are more competitive, but the economic efficiency of business models that were successful in the past is wearing off. Yet, as reaching the critical point where the platform value becomes extremely high for platforms via the Internet is happening at a much higher speed than before, platform-ization has become a very important condition for rapid business expansion for all kinds of businesses. This study analyzes the necessity of establishing platform business models in IT service planning and identifies their characteristics through case analyses of platform business models. The results derived features First, there is a need to ensure sufficient buyers and sellers, and second, platform business model should provide customers with distinctive value of the only platforms are generating. third, the common interests between platform-driven company and a partner, participants Should be existing. Fourthly, by expanding base of participants and upgrades, expansion of adjacent areas we must have a continuous scalability and evolution must be sustainable. While it is expected that the identified characteristics will cause tremendous impacts to the establishment of platform business models and to the graphing of service planning, we also look forward to this study serving as the starting point for the establishment of theories of profit models for platform businesses, which were not mentioned in the study, so that planners responsible for platform-based IT service planning will spend less time and draw bigger schemes in building planning drafts.

Steady Shear Flow and Dynamic Viscoelastic Properties of Semi-Solid Food Materials (반고형 식품류의 정상유동특성 및 동적 점탄성)

  • Using a Rheometrics Fluids Spectrometer(RFS II), the steady shear flow and the small-amplitude dynamic viscoelastic properties of three kinds of semi-solid food materials(mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, and wasabi) have been measured over a wide range of shear rates and angular frequencies. The shear rate dependence of steady flow behavior and the angular frequency dependence of dynamic viscoelastic behavior were reported from the experimentally measured data. In addition, some viscoplastic flow models with a yield stress term were employed to make a quantitative evaluation of the steady flow behavior, and the applicability of these models was also examined in detail. Furthermore, the correlations between steady shear flow(nonlinear behavior) and dynamic viscoelastic(linear behavior)properties were discussed using the modified power-law flow equations. Main results obtained from this study can be summarized as follows : (1) Semi-solid food materials are regarded as viscoplastic fluids having a finite magnitude of yield stress, and their flow behavior shows shear-thinning characteristics, exhibiting a decrease in steady flow viscosity with increasing shear rate. (2) The Herschel-Bulkley, Mizrahi-Berk, and Heinz-Casson models are all applicable to describe the steady flow behavior of semi-solid food materials. Among these models, the Heinz-Casson model has the best validity. (3) Semi-solid food materials show a stronger shear-thinning behavior at shear rate region higher than a critical shear rate where a more progressive structure breakdown takes place. (4) Both the storage and loss moduli are increased with increasing angular frequency, but they have a slight dependence on angular frequency. The elastic behavior is dominant to the viscous behavior over a wide range of angular frequencies. (5) All of the steady flow, dynamic, and complex viscosities are well satisfied with the power-law model behavior. The relationships between steady shear flow and dynamic viscoelastic properties can well be described by the modified forms of the power-law flow equations.

  • The aim of this study is to analyse the landslide susceptibility and the future hazard in Inje, Korea using probability rainfalls and artificial neural network (ANN) environment based on geographic information system (GIS). Data for rainfall probability, topography, and geology were collected, processed, and compiled in a spatial database using GIS. Deokjeok-ri that had experienced 694 landslides by Typhoon Ewinia in 2006 was selected for analysis and verification. The 50% of landslide data were randomly selected to use as training data while the other 50% being used for verification. The probability of landslides for target years (1 year, 3 years, 10 years, 50 years, and 100 years) was calculated assuming that landslides are triggered by 1-day rainfall of 202 mm or 3-day cumulative rainfalls of 449 mm.

Evaluation of Dynamic Lane Allocation Method at Climbing Lane Section (통행속도에 기반한 오르막차로 동적 운영방안 평가)

  • In aspects of traffic operation, a climbing lane may cause traffic congestion if the volume of traffic (v/c) grows and the ratio of heavy vehicle increases. Conversely, it would be effective, if the climbing lane is dynamically operated according to changes in traffic flow. However, there are no guideline to effectively control this climbing lane in aspects of traffic operation. In this study, we examine the necessity of flexible traffic operation criteria and its process for dynamic traffic management and also establish and analyze the effect of flexible traffic operation criteria in accordance with traffic properties using an example of climbing lane. We selected the operation criteria (critical travel speed), which decides whether to operate or close the climbing lane when the average travel speed of climbing lane is 50km/h based on VISSM (microscopic traffic simulation) analysis of Nakdong junction towards Masan with the volume of traffic (v/c), ratio of heavy vehicle as the traffic operation parameters. Based on the simulation result in accordance with the volume of traffic by the operation mode of climbing lane, the analysis on the effect of dynamic traffic management of climbing lane showed that the dynamic traffic management provides more convenience compare to the operation and close of climbing lane. Thereby, we proved that the dynamic traffic management of climbing lane is more effective.

  • Electrochemical behavior of 1.0mM bis(2,2'-bipyridyl)copper( II )(${Cu(bpy)_2}^{2+}$) in 100mM NaCl+27mM $MgCl_2$ solution with and without sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) is investigated. In the presence of SDS, $E_{pa}$ and $E_{1/2}$ of ${Cu(bpy)_2}^{2+/1+}$ shifts to the positive direction compared to the SDS free. Teh intersection of two lines on ${\Delta}E_p$ vs. -log[SDS] plot for 1.0mM $Cu(bpy)_2(NO_3)_2$ in 100mM NaCl+27mM $MgCl_2$ solution is a critical micelle concentration(CMC). Reduced form ${Cu(bpy)_2}^{1+}$ in the presence of $MgCl_2$ is more easily associated to dodecyl sulfate anion($DS^-$) than oxidized ${Cu(bpy)_2}^{2+}$. As the ionic strength is increased by the addition of multiply charged cations($MgCl_2$), the double layer becomes more compact and micelle formation is more difficult.

  • In this study, we propose a new method that utilizes rainfall data in and out of a basin, which is greater than 25.4mm for point rainfall or 12.7mm for areal mean rainfall respectively. From our analysis, most frequent quartile for point and areal mean rainfall were found to be the same in general for various rainfall duration intervals. From an evaluation of design rainfall per each rainfall duration distributed in time by the MOCT(Ministry of Construction and Transportation) version of Huff's method and this study, peak rainfall intensity by this study was found to be greater than the one by MOCT, but there were no consistent increase or decrease of this difference with rainfall durations. Using the distributed design rainfall per each duration by MOCT and this study, corresponding flood inflow hydrographs were simulated and compared each other. Contrary to the case of peak rainfall intensity, difference in peak flow by both methods per each rainfall duration started to increase from about 12-hr duration. Especially, the difference in peak flow was significant when critical rainfall duration was considered, and this trend was similar for peak flows of other rainfall durations. Therefore, the method proposed in this study is thought to be the effective procedure for the construction of dimensionless cumulative rainfall curve that is representative of a basin while considering time distribution characteristics for different rainfall durations.

A Study on Flooding Characteristic Value for the Decision Method of an Urban Basin Design Magnitude (도시유역의 치수계획규모 결정을 위한 침수특성치에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is on the decision of design magnitude for flood control of urban basin, based on flooding characteristic values. In Korea, a design magnitude for flood control is established based on peak discharge of the outlet of basin. However, this method is inappropriate in an urban basin because sewerage only can flow out as much as it could and other discharge overflow to basin. In order to calculate a design magnitude for flood control of an urban basin, flooding characteristic values (peak discharge of pipe, average flooded depth, maximum flooded depths of an important point, flooded area, flooded volume, flooded time) were used as a tool. Using the Gwanghwamun Square as an example, a methodology was proposed that used XP-SWMM 2010 model as a platform to predict urban flood disaster. It can help other local government and residents to better understand, prepare for and manage a flood in urban environments.

Immersive Visualization of Casting Solidification by Mapping Geometric Model to Reconstructed Model of Numerical Simulation Result (주물 응고 수치해석 복원모델의 설계모델 매핑을 통한 몰입형 가시화)

  • In this research we present a novel method which combines and visualizes the design model and the FDM-based simulation result of solidification. Moreover we employ VR displays and visualize stereoscopic images to provide an effective analysis environment. First we reconstruct the solidification simulation result to a rectangular mesh model using a conventional simulation software. Then each point color of the reconstructed model represents a temperature value of its position. Next we map the two models by finding the nearest point of the reconstructed model for each point of the design model and then assign the point color of the design model as that of the reconstructed model. Before this mapping we apply mesh subdivision because the design model is composed of minimum number of points and that makes the point distribution of the design model not uniform compared with the reconstructed model. In this process the original shape is preserved in the manner that points are added to the mesh edge which length is longer than a predefined threshold value. The implemented system visualizes the solidification simulation data on the design model, which allows the user to understand the object geometry precisely. The immersive and realistic working environment constructed with use of VR display can support the user to discover the defect occurrence faster and more effectively.

Study on Mathematical Method of Radiation Heat Transfer for Estimating Width of Firebreak in Surface Fire (복사열전달 수치해석을 통한 지표화 방화선 구축 폭 산정에 관한 연구)

  • Building a firebreak against surface forest fire is a typical indirect suppression method that stops spread of flame by removing surface fuel, such as fallen leaves and bushes. In the sense of fire dynamic, building a firebreak is to set a section which will block thermal energy from igniting on virgin fuel. This study suggests and evaluates a calculation method for width of firebreak against surface fire for variant wind and slope conditions by applying the Point Source Model (PSM) to fallen leaves of Pinus densiflora. Width of firebreak was measured based on the distance the threshold radiant heat igniting Pinus densiflora fallen leaves at the heat flux of $4.9\;kW/m^2$ reaches. As a result, at the wind velocity of 0~5 m/s and on the slope of $0{\sim}50^{\circ}$, the appropriate width of a firebreak was 0.35~0.65 m for the mean flame height and 0.75~1.05 m for the maximum flame height. Accordingly, considering the factor of safety, the most appropriate width of a firebreak is 1.05 m based on the maximum flame height. Additional comparative analyses through experiments and field surveys are deemed necessary to determine appropriate widths of firebreak for different types of surface fuel.

가교키토산 복합막을 이용한 에틸렌글리콜/물 혼합액의 투과증발분리

  • 키토산 막을 이용한 유기혼합물 중의 물을 효율적으로 분리해내는 투과증발공정은 많은 발전을 거듭해 왔으며, 특히 에탄올중의 물을 효율적으로 탈수하는 것에는 탁월한 성능을 보고한 바 있다. 키토산은 주로 게등의 갑각류의 외피에서 얻을 수 있는 키닌을 주원료로 하는 물질로서 친수성이 뛰어난 막재료뿐만 아니라 생체적 합성이 요구되는 생체재료로도 널리 사용이 되고 있는 물질이다. 에틸렌즐리콜은 석유화학공정에서 생성되는 에틸렌 옥시이드를 원료로 하여 제조가 되고 있는 물질이다. 에틸렌글리콜은 PET의 원료로서 사용이 많이 되고 있으며, 겨울철에는 자동차등의 부동액이나 눈이 많이 내리는 지역에서 효율적으로 눈을 제거하기 위하여 공항의 활주로등에서 주로 사용이 되고 있는 물질이다. 에틸렌글리콜의 제조공정중에서 물을 효과적으로 제거하는 방법으로는 증류법이 있을 수 있으나 에틸렌글리콜의 비점이 물보다 현저히 높기 때문에, 공비혼합물을 생성하지 않는 이 혼합물의 특성과는 무관하게, 투과증발법을 이용할 경우 에너지의 절감이 이루어지게 되기 때문에 매우 효용적이고 추천할만할 공정이다. 또한 활주로의 부동액등으로 사용되는 경우 에틸렌글리콜의 재활용이 이루어질 경우 경비의 절감이나 환경적인 문제의 해결등의 장점이 있어서 물의 분리가 요구되고 있다. 이 경우에는 마찬가지로 에틸렌글리콜과 물의 분리는 일반적인 분리에 비해서 투과증발법이 유용하다고 할 수 있다. 본 실험에서는 키토산 막의 효율적인 응용예로서 기존의 알콜의 탈수와 더불어서 에틸렌글리콜의 탈수를 고찰해보고자 하였다.관리가 간편하며, 용존산소량을 줄일수 있다는 점에서 장점이 있으나, 전 ultra pure water의 system이 열적으로 안정해야 하고 경제적인 문제가 수반하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 후자의 경우, 미량의 과산화수소수 (1~10,000 ppm)를 이용해 처리 해주는 방법의 경우 경제적으로 큰 장점이 있고, 처리가 단순하다는 장점이 있으나 과산화수소수 자체에 포함하고 있는 높은 impurit level, 그리고 처리후 장시간의 flushing time을 가져야 한다는 단점등이 존재 하고 있다.요구된다. 몰입이 가능하여 임계치가 저하된 것으로 여겨진다. 또한 광학적 이득의 존재는 이 구조에 의한 극단파장 반도체 레이저다이오드의 실현 가능성을 나타내는 것이다.548 mL에 비해 통계학적으로 의의 있게 적었다(p<0.05). 결론: 관상동맥우회로 조성수술에서 전방온혈심정지액을 사용할 때 희석되지 많은 고농도 포타슘은 fliud overload와 수혈을 피하고 delivery kit를 사용하지 않음으로써 효과적이고 만족할 만한 심근보호 효과를 보였다.를 보였다.4주까지에서는 비교적 폐포는 정상적 구조를 유지하면서 부분적으로 소폐동맥 중막의 비후와 간질에 호산구 침윤의 소견이 특징적으로 관찰되었다. 결론: 분리 폐 관류는 정맥주입 방법에 비해 고농도의 cisplatin 투여로 인한 다른 장기에서의 농도 증가 없이 폐 조직에 약 50배 정도의 고농도 cisplatin을 투여할 수 있었으며, 또한 분리 폐 관류 시 cisplatin에 의한 직접적 폐 독성은 발견되지 않았
