Analysis on User Sensitive Evaluations of Disposable and Reusable Sanitary Pads (일회용 및 다회용 생리대의 소비자 사용 평가)

  • Menstruation being an inevitable phenomenon for every women, reducing the discomfort during the menstruation period is one of the important issues for women's well-being. This study was conducted through user evaluations on disposable pads and reusable pads to comprehend the discomfort factors of the sanitary pads and to provide basic information for improvement. Negative symptoms of the reponses on menstruation outnumbered the positive aspects, and the results suggested that menstruation period was perceived as a painful experience to women. There were difference between the negative and positive responses regarding the designs, functions, fittings, wearing sensations. and disposabilities of disposable pads and reusable pads. While disposable pads had the strength of convenient use, it had the weakness of wearing sensation, and while reusable pads had the strength of wearing sensation, it had the weakness of inconvenient keeping. When designs reflecting these results are made, it is expected to bring a synergy effect by bringing both a more pleasant menstruation period for the consumers and eventual profit to the manufacturers.

  • Conventional locking device has a disadvantage such as a security vulnerability caused by using avoid traces of the keypad that are frequently used due to the complex password application. In this study, we proposed a OTP based locks by using user identical informations that overcomes the disadvantages of the conventional apparatus. We implemented and validated the proposed algorithm through simulations.

5-Neighbor Programmable CA based PRNG (프로그램 가능한 5-이웃 CA기반의 PRNG)

  • A pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) is a program used when a large amount of random numbers is needed. It is used to generate symmetric keys in symmetric key cryptography systems, generate public key pairs in public key cryptography or digital signatures, and generate columns used for padding with disposable pads. Cellular Automata (CA), which is useful for specific representing nonlinear dynamics in various scientific fields, is a discrete and abstract computational system that can be implemented in hardware and is applied as a PRNG that generates keys in cryptographic systems. In this paper, I propose an algorithm for synthesizing a programmable 5-neighbor CA based PRNG that can effectively generate a nonlinear sequence using 5-neighbor CA with the radius of the neighboring cell increased by 2.

Effectiveness of Disposable Single Electrocardiogram Electrode (SIM-Tree) Comparing with Conventional Method (일회용 단일 심전도패드(SIM-Tree)의 기존 방법과 비교를 통한 효과 분석)

  • This study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of the newly developed electrode pad of ECG with that of a conventional method. To accomplish this, participants who performed both methods on a 46 year old male model were queried and their satisfaction, time, and accuracy were measured by a specialist from 01/06/2018 to 15/06/2018. In the conventional method, a newly developed single pad employing a 12-lead ECG and SIM-Tree was employed. There were 104 total participants in this study (44% medical members). Evaluation of the total procedure time revealed that SIM (mean 65.39 seconds) was more rapid than C (mean 94.38 seconds) (p<0.05). When we evaluated the response after all process, satisfaction with SIM (mean 97.69 seconds) was greater than that with C (mean 68.5 seconds) (p<0.05). Moreover, the intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) was 0.959 and accuracy was very high (p<0.05). In conclusion, the SIM-Tree was very effective based on procedure time, satisfaction and accuracy when compared with conventional methods.
