Influence of Site Organization's Communication on Performance of Building Construction Projects (건축프로젝트 현장 조직 커뮤니케이션이 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The success of building construction projects is dependent on the cooperative ability of site organization members, which related with an organizational communication level. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study the influence of site organization's communication on the performance of building construction projects. The results of this research are revealed that the communication quality has positive influence on the performance of building construction projects, and the information sharing has negative influence based on the results of the multiple regression analysis. So it needed to improve the performance in building construction projects that the information is shared with a normal level. the communication quality should be also raised in the project site organization. This study is expected to help to structure the site organizational management system in the building construction projects.

A Review of Empirical Research on Knowledge Management Activities in Public Organizations (정부기관 지식관리활동에 대한 실증연구 경향)

  • This is to review all empirical research articles on knowledge management activities in Korean government agencies. Analyzed were forty six articles published in some major journals for the last decade. The results of analysis show that they mainly focused on such topics as what factors have statistically significant influences upon the knowledge-based activities and whether knowledge activities have achieved the intended performance. More research attentions have been paid upon both knowledge sharing and knowledge creation activities. Most of the empirical studies are dependent upon hypotheses testing, data collection in questionnaire, and the use of multivariate statistical methods. Some suggestions for future research are to do research on more diverse topics, to utilize various research methods, and to make an integrated approach to the knowledge management.

  • Intelligent agents to learn users' tendency have learn uscrs' tendency by sufficient users information and training time. When the intelligent agents is used in ubiquitous environment, users must wait for intelligent agents to learn, so user may be can't get proper services. In this paper we proposed an intelligent P2P mobile agent system that can learn users' tendency in real-time by sharing users' resource. The system shared users contexts on four places and made feel groups which was composed of similar users. When users' service which had the highest correlation coefficient in the peer groups was suggested, users were satisfied over $80\%$.

  • The role of product model in CIM environemt(where such heterogenous application programs as CAD, CAE, CAM, Database, and Expert Systems are included) is system integration. Product model manages all the information related to manufacuring activities. This information includes shapes, operation, process, scheduling, quality, and mangement. Product model architecture includes product model kernel, object schema, model manipulation language, and user interface. Objects to be shared are defined using the model manipulation luage and the defintions are saved in the object schema. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a prototype. In this prototype, application programs for CAPP(Computer Aided Process Planning) are used.

  • In this study, multi-microprocessors system in which slave microprocessor is conrlected with master microprocessor bus through the DMA controller is designed by the use of four 8085 CPU. A high degree of processing efficiency could be obtained by making this system work parallel processing. The result of measuring relat ions bet ween working microproressor and system throughput was 70-80 percents lower than ideal value Master microprocessor takes charge of resource allocation and scheduling, common memory assigns communication between microprocessors and a store of common data. The met hod of detecting Pa rallelism from source Program composed by series is also suggested.

  • Library catalogs are as a tool in order to satisfy the information needs of user but currently user's need is more complex and more diverse. Therefore, currently library catalogs do not meet the user's need and have some limitations. One of the ways for solving this problem will provide for the table of contents about monography. However recently, table of contents about books is builded individual library itself so the redundancy issue is pointed to waste of the cost of materials and human resources. Therefore, it should establish a standardized table of contents information DB and each of the related institutions can collaborate and share ways to be provided to take advantage of the table of contents. In order to this, central institutions should be provided a standardized way of building DB, provided conversion program, and mutual sharing principles associated with the building of table of contents DB.

  • Sharing data by multiple users on the public storage, e.g., the cloud, is considered to be efficient because the cloud provides on-demand computing service at anytime and anywhere. Secure data sharing is achieved by fine-grained access control. Existing symmetric and public key encryption schemes are not suitable for secure data sharing because they support 1-to-1 relationship between a ciphertext and a secret key. Attribute based encryption supports fine-grained access control, however it incurs linearly increasing ciphertexts as the number of attributes increases. Additionally, the decryption process has high computational cost so that it is not applicable in case of resource-constrained environments. In this study, we propose an efficient attribute-based secure data sharing scheme with outsourceable decryption. The proposed scheme guarantees constant-size ciphertexts irrespective of the number of attributes. In case of static attributes, the computation cost to the user is reduced by delegating approximately 95.3% of decryption operations to the more powerful storage systems, whereas 72.3% of decryption operations are outsourced in terms of dynamic attributes.

  • Pricing a network service aims for congestion control of the network as well as economic efficiency. A monopolistic supplier providing users with a network service on a shared link needs a pricing schedule that maximizes revenue under the link's bandwidth constraint and guarantees the bandwidth purchased by the users. In that case, nonlinear pricing is an efficient scheme which meets both requirements. This study reviews how nonlinear pricing can be applied to the network service under the constraint and shows that the nonlinear pricing may result in a fixed unit price of bandwidth as linear pricing when demand characteristics of the users follow a power law. Also, the way how the provider with incomplete information on the demand distribution seeks for the optimal pricing from the degree of the network congestion is introduced and the relationship between the development direction of the Internet and internet pricing is considered based on the results of the study.

  • 온톨로지는 시맨틱 웹의 핵심 기술 요소로서 지식을 개념화하고 명세화해서 의미론적 지식체계를 구축한다. 온톨로지는 개념적 모델링(Conceptual Modeling)을 통해 실제 세계의 지식(Real World Knowledge)을 표현하는 중요한 수단으로 제안되었고, 수많은 정보에 대한 지식관리를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 토대를 제공한다. 본 연구에서는 연구과제회의를 대상으로 온톨로지를 설계 및 구축한다. 과제 진행에 수반되는 다양한 회의와 관련자료는 과제의 성공적인 수행을 위해 반드시 관리되어야 한다. 일반적으로 회의에서 참석자들 사이에 정보 공유 및 자료 검색이 어렵고 회의일정 조정이 번거로우며 회의자료 관리가 체계적이지 못하다. 따라서 연구과제 진행과정의 회의와 관련자료들을 분석/분류해서 개념적 모델링을 통해 연구과제회의 온톨로지를 구축하고자 한다. 향후 이를 활용하여 지능형 반응 공간에서 회의 관리 및 서비스 제공을 할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구의 목표는 시각장애인을 위해 음성 인식, 음성 합성 기술을 이용하여 일반인과 마찬가지로 개인의 특성에 맞는 홈페이지를 구축하게 하는 웹 사이트 자동 생성 툴을 개발하는 것이며, 음성매일, 개인 일정, 주소록, 북마크 등을 생성 할 수 있는 개인정보관리기능은 물론 개인 맞춤 정보 생성 기능을 제공하며, 시각장애인들이 원하는 정보를 스스로 제공하여 일반인과 공유함으로써 의사소통의 통로 역할을 담당 할 수 있게 한다. 웹 사이트 자동 생성 툴에서는 기본적인 명령어를 음성인식으로 처리할 수 있게 지원하며 음성출력이 지원되는 TTS를 추가적으로 제공한다. 본 연구개발을 통해 시각장애인들이 사회적 소외감을 없애며 정보화 시대에 동등한 위치에서 생활 할 수 있도록 하는 것이다.
