최근 이동통신과 인터넷의 만남인 무선인터넷 수요는 급속히 증가하고 있고 이에 관련한 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 기술의 혁신에 따라 이 분야의 시장이 크게 활성화 될 것으로 전망된다. 이에 본회에서는 국내 무선인터넷 기술동향 및 전망 제시와 무선인터넷 시장 활성화 분위기 조성에 대한 목적을 가지고 '무선인터넷 기술 전망'이라는 주제로 특별 세미나를 개최한 바 있으며, 본고에서는 그 구체적인 주요 내용을 살펴보도록 한다.

전체 인구대비 가입률이 $80\%$에 육박하는 이동통신서비스를 기반으로 국내에서 무선인터넷은 눈부시게(outstanding) 성장을 거듭하고 있다. EV-DO를 중심으로 제 3세대 이동통신 기술의 진화와 카메라 폰 등의 최신의 무선 단말기 보급, 게임 및 SMS, MMS, LBS 등의 콘텐츠 보급 등이 무선인터넷 성장의 원동력(growth factors)으로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보기술수용모형(TAM)을 기반으로 국내에서 무선인터넷 확산 영향요인을 규명하기 위한 탐색적인 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 무선인터넷의 네트워크 품질, 콘텐츠 품질, 단말기 품질, 초기 비용, 이용요금, 유용성, 이용용이성, 사회적 영향, 이용태도, 이용행동 등에 관한 자료를 설문 조사를 통해 수집하였다. 그리고 구조방정식을 통하여 각 요인들간의 인과관계를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 그리고 국내에서 무선인터넷에 대한 이용의향을 바탕으로 고객군을 세분화하고 집단의 특성을 파악하였다.

미래인터넷 연구가 우리나라에서 본격적으로 시작된 지 8년차에 접어들고 있다. 초기에 미래인터넷의 실체에 대한 다양한 의견들과 clean-slate로 갈 것인지 evolution을 할 것인지에 대한 논란이 계속된 것으로 기억된다. 현 시점에서 그 때 상황을 되돌아 보면 어떤 생각들이 그나마 유사하게 맞는 것이었는지 알 수 있어 흥미롭기까지 하다. 본고에서는 이런 미래인터넷이 태동해서 논의되었던 필요성들을 사물인터넷 혹은 만물인터넷 중심의 초연결사회의 관점에서 조망해 본 후에, 실제적으로 이런 사회를 대비하여 점차 가시화되고 있는 중요한 인프라요소 및 구축 방향을 모색한다. 이를 ICT 인프라 차원에서 다시 바라보면 최근 구축과 운용의 중심이 하드웨어에서 소프트웨어 중심으로 급속하게 전환되는 큰 변화가 본격화하고 있다. 즉 미래 사회가 요구하는 초연결에 기반한 서비스 실증을 개발/운영 병행체제 (DevOps: Developers & Operators)를 통해 신속하고 실질적으로 가능케하고 산업발전을 지원하는 인프라를 통한 개방형 혁신이 가시화되고 있다. 정리하면 본고에서는 미래인터넷으로 시작된 네트워크 인프라의 변화와 현재 현황을 살펴보고 어떤 방법론과 체계에 의하여 빠르게 발전하는 초연결사회의 요구사항을 수용하면서 서로 협업할 수 있고 경제발전을 견인하는 인프라로서의 기능과 역할을 담당할 수 있는지에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

This paper is related to the optimal pricing of Internet Backbone Services that are differentiated according to the size of the bandwidth required for applications with different quality sensitivities, Itdiscusses IBP (Internet Backbone Provider) optimal nonlinear pricing process in the presence of a congestion externality in addition to strategic behavior by users. In this scenario, the quality of service provided may reach its socially optimal level irrespective of strategic behavior by users and may be independent of the characteristics of the applications delivered over the Internet.

As the internet of things has come into the spotlight, wearable devices have been emerging as a new and growing market and the next hot thing in the world. However, wearable device growth in the market has not met expectations. For continued growth and diffusion of wearable devices, it is important to investigate user resistance factors to them. This study gives attention to people who have resistance to wearable devices' tendency towards innovative uses. Specifically, this study is intended to find out which factors influence consumers' resistance and intention to use wrist-worn wearable devices, which are in high demand among wearable device. Results of the study show that the relative advantage, innovation expectation, complexity, financial risk and physical risk are the predictors of innovation resistance on wrist-worn wearable devices. And consumers' resistance affects the intention of positive acceptance. These findings confirm the importance of consumer resistance to the wrist-worn wearable device.
