  • It is very important for Internet searching systems to have user-friendly and rapid searching functions at the managers'point of view. The former finds optimized input parameters to support the various searching requirements of user. The latter has fast searching results which are effectively normalized to various input parameters having different attributes. In this paper we basically focus on optimized database construction not only to have searching functions with multiple attributes to support maximal various input requirements of the user but also to have more rapid searching functions. For this research, we suggest a modified association algorithm that takes into consideration to the support and confidence that is the criteria of the association mining rule in order to reflect the searching characteristics of internet shopping malls. We also propose the model management systems for rapid searching functions. The following results are from a processed simulation: the more the number of searching transactions of the users increase, the less the total relative average searching time becomes.

The data were collected via an online survey. A total of 4,254 Internet users participated in this survey. Only 589 out of the users' reponses were used as a sample for this research, because those users had previously experienced Internet apparel purchasing. Factor analysis revealed five dimensions of Internet apparel store attributes: site design/navigation, promotion programs, trust, product assortment/ information, and customer service. Based on the respondents' shopping value scores, we identified them as hedonic or utilitarian consumers. Through multiple regression analyses, site design/navigation and promotion programs among store attribute variables, hedonistic or utilitarian shopping values, the number of years on the Internet, income, and educational level were found to be significant predictors of Internet apparel shopping frequency. Among them, hedonistic shopping values were the best predictor of Internet apparel purchasing frequency. Based on the Internet apparel purchasers' shopping value, purchasers were divided into two groups. For hedonic Internet apparel shoppers, the number of years on the Internet, educational level, sex, age, and income were significant predictors of Internet apparel shopping behavior. On the other hand, promotion programs among store attribute variables was the only significant factor that affects utilitarian consumers' Internet apparel shopping behavior.

  • Consumers have more choices for apparel products as e-shopping grows. This study examines the importance of apparel product attributes and classifies online apparel buyers into groups based on product attribute evaluation in various choice sets. For the empirical research, the online survey was conducted and Latent Gold Choice 4.0 was used for the choice-based conjoint analysis. Five consumer segments are found based on the choice selection of product attributes. The importance of product attributes (online shopping mall, brand, price, and style) and the preference of each product attribute level were different across segments. This research improves the knowledge of the purchasing behavior of online apparel buyers and provides proper attribute combinations of apparel e-shopping for each consumer segment.

  • With the recent expansion of internet shopping mall, the importance of intelligent products recommendation agents has been increasing. for the products recommendation, This paper propose case-based reasoning approach, and developed a case-based bundle products recommendation system which can recommend a set of sea food used in family events. To apply CBR approach to the bundle products recommendation, it requires the following 4R steps : \circled1 Retrieval, \circled2 Reuse, \circled3 Revise, \circled4 Retain. To retrieve similar cases from the case-base efficiently, case representation scheme is most important. This paper used OW(Object Modeling Technique) to represent bundle products recommendation cases, and developed a similarity measure method to search similar cases. To measure similarity, we used weight-sum approach basically. Especially This paper propose the meaning and uses of taxonomies for representing case features.
