Design of Location-Based Authentication System using Beacon (Beacon을 이용한 위치기반 인증 시스템 설계)

  • 특정 인터넷 서비스는 그 성격에 따라 제한된 위치에서만 서비스를 제공하도록 설계한다. 이러한 시스템 구조에서 사용자의 위치정보는 서비스 접근을 통제하는 과정에서 핵심적으로 사용되며 LSB(Location Based Service), WPS(Wifi Positioning System)와 같은 기술로 제안되었다. 그러나 기존 인증 기법은 대상이 일정하지 않은 불특정 다수의 사용자가 접근하기에 적합하지 않고, 서비스 공급자의 무선 AP를 이용하기 때문에 과도한 서버 부하에 취약하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 Beacon을 이용한 위치기반 인증 시스템을 제안한다. Beacon이란 Bluetooth 기술을 기반으로 근거리 무선 통신 기기이다. 사용자가 서비스 접근 권한을 획득하기 위해 인증 서버에서 요구하는 인증 코드는 BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy)를 사용하는 Beacon이 브로드캐스팅한다. 즉, 사용자는 Beacon이 BLE로 브로드캐스팅한 데이터를 수신할 수 있는 물리적인 범위까지 접근해야 인증 절차를 수행할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, existing technology that uses broadcasting and multicasting IP addrsses at the wireless access network, based on Internet as a core network, is upgraded. By employing broadcasting service request by receivers, convergence of multicasting and broadcasting, and lower level filtering of broadcast data, the load and traffic of network, server, base station, and receiver is substantially reduced. The technology proposed in this paper could be useful for general broadcasting services, and especially optimum for LBS and Telematics services.

  • In the conventional video file system, videos are stored in a high performance server which has mass storage hard disks or disk arrays. For 3D internet broadcasting, real time operations are required to transmit video files to many clients. This paper describes the design of the 3D internet broadcasting system which can provide realtime streaming service to many users in the 5G environment. In reality, unicast is used to transmit multimedia contents over the internet rather than IP multicast since IP multicast has its own drawbacks in deployment, security, maintenance and so on. In addition, multimedia broadcasting service system like VoD has difficulties in applying to 3D internet broadcasting system since it requires a large amount of system and network resources. In this work, we develop a 3D internet broadcasting system which can construct effective data delivery by minimizing performance-degrading factors.

A multi-hop Communication Scheme in Vehicular Communication Systems (차량통신시스템에서의 멀티홉 전송 방법)

  • Vehicular communication is one of main convergence technologies which combines information and communication technology (ICT) with vehicle and road industries. In general, vehicular communication adopts IEEE 802.11p standard which is commonly referred as wireless access in vehicular environments (WAVE). In this paper, we investigate a multi-hop communication scheme for IEEE 802.11p based communication systems which support both vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. First, we briefly overview the performance of IEEE 802.11p based communication systems. Then, a multi-hop communication scheme is introduced for both broadcast and unicast. The performance of proposed scheme is presented via experimental measurements.

  • With the rapidly changing era of the fourth industrial revolution, the utilization of IT technology is increasing. In addition, the demand for security authentication is increasing as shared services or IoT technologies are being developed as new business models. Security authentication is becoming increasingly important for all intelligent devices such as self-driving cars. However, most location-based security authentication technologies are being developed mainly with technologies that utilize server proximity or satellite location tracking, which limits the scope of their physical use. Location-based security authentication technology has recently been developed as a complementary replacement technology. In this study, we introduce location-based security authentication technology using cell broadcasting technology, which has a wider range of applications and is more convenient and business-friendly than existing location-based security authentication technologies. We also introduced application cases and business models related to this. In addition to the current status of technology development, we analyzed current changes in business models being employed. Based on our analysis results, this study draws the implication that technology diversification is necessary to improve the performance of innovative technologies. It is meaningful that it has found and studied advanced technologies other than existing location authentication methods and systems.

  • Wireless Sensor Network is an event-driven system that a large number of micro sensor nodes are collected, giving and Wing information. Congestion can take place easily since a great number of sensor nodes are sensing data and transferring them to sink nodes when an event occurs, comparing to the existing wired network. Current internet transport protocol is TCP/UDP, however, this is not proper for wireless sensor network event-driven ESRT, STCP and CODA are being studied for reliable data transport in the wireless sensor network. Congestion are being detected local buffer and channel loading with these techniques. Broadcasting is mainly used and can avoid congestion when one happens. The way that combining local buffer and channel loading information and detecting congestion is being studied in this paper. When congestion occurs, buffering state is divided into three in order to lessen the broadcasting sending the message on congestion control to the node having frequent channel loading. Thus they have advantage of decreasing network's loading.

  • Recently, interest about Mobile Office Environment is increasing Messenger system of 'Ubiquitous Mobile Office Environment' need various kinds new concept such os request/broadcasting/transmission of working environment that existent messenger protocol does not support. Design correct new protocol to Mobile Office Environment messenger in this treatise, and analyzed existentprotocol and comparison. Also, examine characteristic of rendezvous server that was optimized in MOE-MP protocol and analyzed efficiency. MOE-MP that design newly based on basic syntax of XMPP optimized to Mobile Office Environment.

  • As the study and use of P2P systems are diversified, the effect of excessive amount of traffic, which occurs in searching peers' resource and is considered as a network bandwidth Problem, cannot let the matter Pass without making a protest. In case P2P application doesn't reduce network traffic, it can be much effected to use bandwidth smoothly in the internet environment where various network applications lie scattered and there will be inconvenience when many network users makes use of related applications . In this Paper, we propose a pure P2P model based-broadcasting technique for producing successful hit ratio and traffic amount in the weakly connected environment based-P2P system where situation of peers' connection and exit is ambiguous . The proposed searching technique is designed/implemented to improve a resident problem in the related system and we have estimated the performance of the proposed searching technique comparing our technique with the existing broadcasting based-searching technique .

  • In this paper, we describe technologies of Intranet administrator and user application used in the PEC(Protocol Engineering Center) Office Intranet system which provides platform independent application framework using Internet/Intranet standard technologies for distribution of Web documents and real-time multimedia information. The PEC Office is composed of administrator applications to support environments for administration of all applications including group/user add, update, and delete facilities and construction of user directory and user applications to support schedule sharing, virtual library, job report, output management, budget management, and real-time audio/video broadcasting services. These applications allow differentiation and customization services according to department and title employed per users.

  • 소셜 미디어는 대중들의 관심있는 생각, 정보, 이슈들을 공유하는 공개 미디어 플랫폼이다. 이를 통해 개인의 관심있는 텍스트, 이미지, 동영상, 음악 등 다양하고 거대한 콘텐츠가 재생산되고 공유되었다. 콘텐츠의 중심이 채널기반 단향 방송 중심에서 사회 다수를 위한 양방향 소셜 환경으로 이동한 것이다. 소셜 미디어의 장점은 관심사나 관계의 내용을 공유함으로써 양방향 의사 소통이 가능하고, 상호 연관성에 따라 새롭게 정의된 의미있는 정보를 기반으로 콘텐츠를 제공하는 소셜 서비스가 가능하다는 점이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지난 수년간 인터넷과 방송 환경에서 방송과 웹 콘텐츠를 접목시키기 위해 개발된 다양한 기술 및 서비스에 대해 살펴본다. 또한, 기존의 다양한 웹 콘텐츠를 분석하여 소셜 브로드 캐스팅 서비스의 운영을 지원하는 자동 지식 기반 구축시스템에 대해 소개한다.
