A study on the effective regulation of user discrimination : focusing on the offering of promotional gifts and exemption of charges (방송통신사업자의 부당한 이용자 차별 행위의 위법성 판단 기준의 타당성 및 효과적 규제 방안 : 경품 제공 및 요금 감면 관련 행위를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to find out the effectiveness of regulation of promotional gifts and exemption of charges by analyzing the judgement criterion of illegality and the corrective action taken by regulatory agencies and suggests effective way of regulation. The results show that recently the differences of price-cut is getting bigger. In addition, Fair Trade Commission has considered discounts as unfair predatory price only if price is below the cost. But in the telecommunication business law enacted by Korea Communications Commission, 'expected profits per subscriber' has been applied as a key criterion. KCC's criterion is based not on the expected profit of individual service provider but on the averaged profit of services providers. It doesn't consider differences of service quality and the cost structure between dominant firm and late comers. Prohibition act of user discrimination result in the increase of subscriber and operating profits of late comers but this is not direct purpose of regulation. It can be desirable in the aspect of fair competition but since it may reduce consumer welfare, the criterion needs to be reconsidered.

  • Recently, the expert call center solution has become the center of interest, since finance and tele-marketing system, which is focused on a communication industry, have been increasing, Specially, the call center market is growing up with a supporting Caller-ID for a cellular phone in Korea, In the present, although large size companies are developing expensive solutions and instruments to service only for the big companies, there little solutions for SOHO markets, Therefore, in this paper we have shown a design and an implementation of a CTI system which is capable of in/outbound call processing by using CTI, and providing stable services by linking the customer's DB. And these functionalities have become possible by integrating functions of PBX and the computer control of the PBX. First, we have constructed call flows and analyzed packets for the standard communication through the PBX in call. Then, we have designed and implemented a middleware which linked a call between a client and a customer. Finally, we have constructed a database module for applying the CRM technology to the management of customer's contents.

A Study of On/Off-line Trust on Customer's Repurchase Intention in Hotel Industry (온/오프라인 호텔기업의 신뢰와 고객의 재구매의도에 관한 연구)

  • With the development of the Internet, online community has been made possible to buy a product in hotel industry. It is expanded gradually the customers buy various banquet services as well as guest rooms or restaurant use. From the 1950s, research has been conducted on trust and various study is achieved in connection with in social psychology or industry marketing. But there is much to be desired on research on trust in on/off-line company and customer's repurchase intention. Verifying the study model and hypothesis established through proceeding research, we would like to know that whether trust in on-line basis can be connected with the trust that already formed about the hotel in off-line basis. Furthermore, how on-line and off-line trust made in hotel industry can affects to customer's repurchase intention. The trust between on-line basis and off-line basis in hotel industry is mutually related. The trust based on off-line hotel company also affects to customer's repurchase intention. But, on-line trust in hotel industry is not related to the customer's repurchase intention.

  • Electronic Trade is dramatically changing classical international trade paradigms. In particular, under the new economic environment, the ability to utilize and Information Technologies such as Electronic Data Interchange, Web-based EDI, ebXML, web service, Internet are emerging as an important factor in deciding the competitiveness of export business. The primary purpose of this study is (1) to investigate motivation factors and performance factors of electronic trade, (2) to show the relationship between motivation factors and the level of the utilization of e-trade, (3) to reveal the relationship between the level of the utilization and performance factors of e-trade. Analysis of survey questionnaire of Korean middle and small companies indicates the following : (1) motivation factors such as cost factor, education and promotion and the search of new market, have positive effect on the level of utilization of e-trade. (2) the level of utilization of e-trade has positive effect on the performance factors such as cost factor, the search of new market, the improvement of task process.

  • In the recent enterprises and are utilizing the CRM using data mining techniques and new marketing plan. However, data mining techniques are necessary expertise, general public access is difficult, it will be subject to constraints of time and space. in this paper, in order to solve this problem, we have proposed a Mobile CRM applying the data mining method. Thus, to analyze the structure of an existing CRM system, and defines the data flow and format. Also, define the process of the system, was designed sales trend analysis algorithm and customer sales recommendation algorithm using data mining techniques. Evaluation of the proposed system, through the test scenario to ensure proper operation, it was carried out the comparison and verification with the existing system. Results of the test, the value of existing programs and data matches to verify the reliability and use queries the proposed statistical tables to reduce the analysis time of data, it was verified rapidity.

  • The mileage program has been one of the most popular royalty and promotion programs in marketing. With the remarkable growth and rapid pervasiveness of information technologies including the Internet, new and a variety of many other applications of mileage system than traditional ones have been observed. The objective of this research is to investigate the rising role of mileage point as a new private electronic money. In an attempt to identify the new role, we employ two factors: monetary confidence and monetary efficiency. This paper analyzes the status quo in the monetary uses of the mileage system by answering to those questions that "is it money?," and "what are the cases for real experiences in 'money-like' mileage and their implications?" with OK Cashbag case. Results show that OK Cashbag point is taking a different development route of money and performs limited monetary functions as private electronic money.

  • We can build regular relationships with customers by integrating SNS (Social Networking Service) and internet shopping mall functions. For example of direct dealing of agricultural products, consumers can find news of regular sellers (seeding, farming, harvesting and new products) in the timeline at their SNS home. Then, they can purchase the necessary products by one click motion. The sellers provide news and discount information for building regular customers. Besides these SNS personal connection building, our system provides shopping mall functions to consumer's SNS home pages with auto classified catalog of products. Then, consumes easily find necessary products and these purchase may lead to regular relationships with sellers. Consumers may redistribute recommendations and reviews and it enables direct communications between consumers who are unknown to each other.

  • The core parties operating application stores can be categorized into two major groups. One of which is an application store that offers manufacturing and platforms while the other being telecommunication company orientated. Each group has an affiliated partnership. In a larger group, there are three major types of partnership such as "partnership that causes an increase in traffic","partnership through the sales within the application contents" and "partnership through advertisements". In order to find out whether teenagers and potential consumers in their twenties would prefer a "message-type advertising" or an "application-type advertising". Through experiment, we also figured out which type of advertising worked more effectively between the two given types.

Effect of Mobile Advertising Characteristics on the Continuity and Avoidance Intention of Mobile Advertisement (모바일 광고특성이 모바일광고 지속의도와 회피의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study suggests a strategy to provide effective mobile advertising marketed by identifying factors affecting the use and avoidance intention of mobile advertising on SNS. This article has three main findings. First, each factor of usefulness, novelty and irritation have a significant effect on satisfaction and usefulness, clutter and irritation factor have a significant effect on dissatisfaction. Second, satisfaction and dissatisfaction of mobile advertising exist at the same time, and it is confirmed that they are considered when consumers use mobile advertising. The third finding is that effective mobile advertising avoids the boredom of ads through moderating irritation and should be used in fresh form with more useful information than other ads' form. The result of this study should be an important criterion that mobile advertising providers make advertisements that consumers want in the future.

  • With increased interest in the fourth industrial revolution represented by artificial intelligence, it has been very active to utilize bigdata and machine learning techniques in almost areas of society. Also, such activities have been realized by development of forecasting systems in various applications. Especially in the movie industry, there have been numerous attempts to predict whether they would be success or not. In the past, most of studies considered only the static factors in the process of prediction, but recently, several efforts are tried to utilize realtime social bigdata produced in SNS. In this paper, we propose the prediction technique utilizing various feedback information such as news articles, blogs and reviews as well as static factors of movies. Additionally, we also experimentally evaluate whether the proposed technique could precisely forecast their revenue targeting on the relatively successful movies.
