Throughput Analysis in Vehicular Wi-Fi Networks (Wi-Fi 기반 차량 네트워크에서의 인터넷 처리율 분석)

  • Due to advances in wireless communications and portable terminals, any-time, any-where, and any-device Internet access is possible. In particular, Internet access in moving vehicles is an emerging and challenging issue. Even though a variety studies have been conduced for vehicular networks, little attention is paid to vehicular Wi-Fi networks where a Wi-Fi access point (AP) is installed at the vehicle and the AP is connected to an external base station (BS). In this paper, we conduct a measurement study on the uplink and downlink throughput for Internet access in vehicular Wi-Fi networks. We consider diverse network environments: high-speed train, car, and subway. Measurement results demonstrate that current Internet access in vehicular Wi-Fi networks are not satisfactory for interactive multimedia applications. Therefore, in-depth study on resource management in vehicular Wi-Fi networks is strongly required.

  • The development of internet technology and communication is a great influenced on trends of our society in culture, economy, and policy. The informationized society related internet brought the change into the designer's attitude. Namely, designers who have a concern about internet web knew that the quality of design is more important in the web site to seek the new approach to the design in relation to internet market of an imaginary cyberspace. But we have not a good tool to evaluate the web design in the internet graphic interface especially by visual perception. Now, the major concern for this research is to study the evaluation criteria of the web design interface and offer some solutions to bring the objectivity of the evaluation method model in other to make the base of a new Internet culture in Korea.

An Analysis on the Development Factor of Internet Media Industry (인터넷미디어산업의 발전요인 분석)

  • This paper explored the development factors influencing the high growth of internet media industry recently in Korea. Both theoretical model and analytic model were formulated and tested by the results of questionnaire analysis. The factors extracted from five fields were as followings: policy, technology, market, firm, and profitability. Factor analysis was used to test the fitness of the given model, and the hypothesized model was found to be useful to explain the development factors of the internet media industry. The results showed that industry's development was explained by 41.3% for firm level, 37.6% for IT technology and policy, and 21.00/0 for market condition and competition.

  • 웹기반 경매사이트는 전자상거래시장을 대표할 만한 높은 수익성을 올리고있는 인터넷비지니스 수익모델이라고 할 수 있다. 현재 온라인경매를 사용하는 소비자는 경매사이트에서 제공하는 풍부한 정보의 양에 의존하여 전자상거래를 접하고 있다. 기존연구는 온라인 경매사이트의 제공자는 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 참여 의도을 유인하기 위하여 온라인 경매 모델의 형태와 정보의 질에 집중하였던 것을 언급하고 있다. 온라인경매는 웹 인터페이스(Web Interface)를 활용하는 특징을 보유하고 있다. 그러므로, 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인은 온라인경매에서 매출액 신장과 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도를 유인하기 위한 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 온라인 경매사이트의 매출액 증진을 위하여, 온라인경매에서 입찰 참여 의도와 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인간의 관계 연구는 수행되지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인과 소비자의 입찰 참여 의도간의 관계에 관한 연구이다. 특히, 아르헨티나를 사례연구로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인은 (1)사이트 구조측면과 (2)정보의 디자인 측면 그리고, (3)정보의 내용측면을 추출하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인과 소비자의 선호도 변수들과의 비교분석이 이루어진다. 소비자 선호도 변수는 (1)웹디자인의 유용성 인지도와 (2)정보의 유용성 인지도 그리고, (3)웹사이트의 용이성 인지도가 사용되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과에 의하면, 웹기반 경매사이트의 3가지 디자인요인에 해당하는 사이트의 구조측면과 정보의 디자인측면 그리고, 정보의 내용 측면은 모두 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 소비자의 특성에 따른 차이점이 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 결과로 제공하고 있다.

Digital Coupon Gift-giving Model through Gift-Giving Motivation (선물동기에 따른 모바일 메신저 디지털 쿠폰 선물 증여 모형)

  • Since a smart phone has been popular, 91% of the internet users are utilizing the technology in all places for chatting and messenger which overtake share of voice and visual call utilization. The phenomenon is remarkable to young generations between teenager and thirties, which leads to mobile messenger shopping such as mobile digital voucher and coupon buy. In this research, we clarify whether traditional gift-giving motivations works on digital coupon gift-giving, and two technology acceptance model factors: perceived usefulness and ease of use affects between motivations and intention to gift-giving. The result shows three traditional gift-giving motivations: experiential, obligated and practical attitude affects intention to digital mobile coupon gift-giving and ease of use of the digital mobile coupon works parameter of the relation rather than usefulness. In other words, gift-giving purpose digital coupon users give a gift with traditional gift-giving motivation but has the stronger intetnion to gift-giving by technology ease of use.

A Study on the Perceptions of Cyber English Learners on the Usefulness of Online Grammar Checker (온라인 문법 검사기의 유용성에 대한 사이버 영어학습자들의 인식에 관한 연구)

  • The current study examined the cyber learners' perceptions of the educational usefulness of Grammarly, an online grammar checker, after it was used to provide feedback to cyber university students in a situation where the instructor could not provide sufficient feedback on their written work in English. The survey results, revealed that the majority of learners had positive attitudes to the usefulness of Grammarly. In particular, the feedback immediately available whenever needed was regarded as helpful in improving English sentences, and most learners were highly satisfied with the amount of the feedback provided by Grammarly. It was also found that Grammarly had positive effects in terms of the affective domains, helping learners to improve their interest and confidence in English writing. In particular, Grammarly was found to be effective in reducing writing anxiety in English, one of the main factors negatively affecting writing performance in English. However, along with these positive results, limitations such as inaccurate feedback and inadequate explanation of errors were also found. Therefore, when Grammarly is used for English education, it is necessary to conduct multifaceted research to develop effective teaching methods that can minimize the problems that may arise from these limitations.

  • This study intendss to prepare specific support measures for cultural industry practioners and artists to respond to the development of artificial intelligence (AI) based on how they understand and accept AI. To this end, the acceptance attitude of practioners in the arts and cultural sectors toward AI technology was investigated based on the technology acceptance models and theories. The results show that, firstly, personal characteristics and service characteristics, which are influencing factors, have an effect on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to use AI services. Secondly, when there are perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness in AI services, innovative and effective personal characteristics reinforce the intention to use artificial intelligence services. It is expected that this study can be used as a reference for establishing policy measures to support cultural artists related to AI technology.

  • Recently, the interesting of customers in online auto insurance is rapidly increasing. The one of major reasons is economical benefit. offline auto insurance products as a service formed high price. However, online auto insurance relatively formed low price. Thanks to these characteristics of online auto insurance has gained great popularity. Therefore, in purchasing online auto insurance, consumers carefully buy products of auto insurance. In this study, we classified the $2{\times}2$ matrix (online preference group, economic pursuit group, convenience oriented group, and carefulness approach group) in online auto insurance consumers focusing on the perceived benefits and price acceptance. From an economic point of view of consumers around the perceived benefits and price acceptance, we analyzed the relationships among easy of use, usefulness, attitude, and purchase intention in automobile e-shopping mall. The results of this study will provide the useful implications for the planing CRM(customer relationship management) strategy for improving purchase intention of customers to online insurance companies.

  • 현재 기업 뿐 아니라 개인에도 정보의 중성이 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 정보기술의 활용과 빠른 컴퓨팅 환경의 변화 및 인터넷이라는 네트웍을 기반으로 다양한 정보를 접할 수 있게 됨으로써 필요한 정보를 보다 빠르게 검색해야 하는 필요성이 생기게 되었다. 지금까지는 다양하고 방대한 데이터들을 정보의 형태로 가공하여 DB를 중심으로 유용한 정보를 제공하였지만, 이제는 효과적인 정보의 활용을 위해 정보검색의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 즉, 흩어져 있는 데이터를 정보의 형태로 변환시키는 것보다 그 정보를 효율적이고 빠르게 검색하여 한차원 높은 'Knowledge' 로써의 역할을 하느냐가 중요하게 된것이다. 본 논문에서는 각 정보들의 검색을 위해 사용되고 있는 기존의 검색기법인 SQL-Based 검색, Full text 검색과 새로 소개되고 있는 Parametric 검색에 대해서 고찰하여보고 다양한 정보의 유형에 대해 효과적인 검색을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 규모가 방대한 네트워크 상에서 네트워크의 침입과 방어의 효과와 유용성을 알아보기 위해. 실존하는 네트워크 상에서 직접 침입과 방어를 테스트하는 것은 많은 노력과 비용이 든다. 이와 같은 문제점을 극복하기 위해 인터넷 침입의 표현에 필요한 DNS Service를 포함한 네트워크 침입 시뮬레이션을 하기 위한 SSFNet 확장 연구가 진행되었다. 본 연구는 SSFNet에 새로이 추가된 DNS Service 모듈을 이전 연구에서 만들어진 모듈들과 함께 대규모 네트워크 환경에서 네트워크 침입 시뮬레이션을 테스트 하였다. 본 시뮬레이션에서는 1770개 노드로 구성된 네트워크에서 Http 서비스와 DNS 서비스를 제공하는 호스트들을 설정하고, 해당 서비스가 원활히 진행되는지를 살펴보았다.
