A Study on Fuzzy Logic based Clustering Method for Radar Data Analysis (레이더 데이터 분석을 위한 Fuzzy Logic 기반 클러스터링 기법에 관한 연구)

  • Clustering is one of important data mining techniques known as exploratory data analysis and is being applied in various engineering and scientific fields such as pattern recognition, remote sensing, and so on. The method organizes data by abstracting underlying structure either as a grouping of individuals or as a hierarchy of groups. Weather radar observes atmospheric objects by utilizing reflected signals and stores observed data in corresponding coordinate. To analyze the radar data, it is needed to be separately organized precipitation and non-precipitation echo based on similarities. Thus, this paper studies to apply clustering method to radar data. In addition, in order to solve the problem when precipitation echo locates close to non-precipitation echo, fuzzy logic based clustering method which can consider both distance and other properties such as reflectivity and Doppler velocity is suggested in this paper. By using actual cases, the suggested clustering method derives better results than previous method in near-located precipitation and non-precipitation echo case.

Study on Traffic Noise in Residential Area Near Urban Expressways (주거지역 인접 도시고속도로 교통소음 분석)

  • Noise pollution on the residential areas adjacent to urban expressway is a very severe situation. There has been a significant increases in the number of residential areas near urban expressway, and the quality of life in such areas is being degraded due to increased traffic volume and speed. In this study, several factors such as traffic volume, speed, and distance from noise source, etc. that affect the noise level were investigated for the residential areas near urban expressway. A correlation and regression model was built to examine the relationship between such traffic factors and noise. The study result found that traffic volume had a closer relationship with noise than speed had. Therefore, to decrease road traffic noise, it is more imperative to control traffic volume than traffic speed.

  • 본 논문은 정합 검증 패턴을 이용한 적응형 계층 육각 탐색의 성능 개선에 관한 것이다. 제안된 방법은 움직임 추정 블록에 시공간적으로 인접한 블록들의 움직임 벡터를 이용하여 움직임 활동도를 정의한 후, 움직임 활동도가 높을 경우 웨이블렛 변환의 다단계 저주파 부영상들로 구성된 피라미드 계층 구조상에서 정합 검증 패턴을 이용한 적응형 계층 육각 탐색을 수행한다. 제안된 방법을 이용할 경우, 정합 검증 패턴을 적용한 검증 과정에서 추가적인 연산량 증가가 초래되지만 이를 상호타협적으로 보상할 수 있는 화질 측면에서의 성능 개선 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 타당성과 보편성을 검증하기 위해서로 다른 움직임 특성을 갖는 복수의 영상 시퀀스들을 대상으로 움직임 보상 화질과 수렴시간 측면에서 그 성능을 분석 평가하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과에 따르면, 제안된 방법은 고속 움직임 탐색이 가능한 적웅형 계층 육각 탐색의 장점을 유지하면서도 움직임 활동도가 높은 영상 시퀀스에서 야기되는 국부 최소 문제를 효과적으로 억제시킴으로써 보상 화질 측면에서 개선된 성능을 제공할 수 있었다.

  • This research aims to examine the spatial patterns of vacant housings and the factors determining housing vacancy in Daegu using individual-level building DB. The results of the spatial pattern analysis showed a donut shaped-spatial concentration of vacant housings in the central areas of the city. The results of logistic regression analysis revealed that not only individual building characteristics, such as building area, number of floors, and building age, but also socio-economic characteristics of community, such as urban redevelopment district, number of adjacent vacancies, recent population change, and ratio of elderly, are important factors affecting housing vacancies.

관광지 주차장 이용실태 및 문제점 분석

  • 현재 우리나라의 수많은 관광지에서는 극심한 교통혼잡과 주차난을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 대포항 교차로와 대포항 주차장의 기하구조 및 이용실태를 조사한 후, 현재 교차로와 주차장 진ㆍ출입로의 기하구조와 주차장 운영현황 및 그 이용실태의 문제점 분석을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 현장에서 실제 조사한 교차로의 도로조건과 주차장의 진ㆍ출입로는 조사된 그림(1. 대포항 교차로, 2. 대포항 주차장 구획도)으로 분석하고 주차자의 운영현황 및 이용실태는 현장조사를 토대로 누적주차대수, 주차회전율, 차량당 평균주차지속시간, 주변도로 혼잡영향 분석 등의 방법을 통해 얻어진 결과로 분석할 것이다. 분석결과, 주차장 인접 교차로에서는 버스정류장과 우회전 차로의 합류, 우회전 차로와 주차장 진ㆍ출입로의 합류 등의 기하구조상의 문제로 직진ㆍ우회전 차량, 주차장 진ㆍ출입 차량의 혼잡을 예상할 수 있었고, 주중에는 13시 51분에, 주말에는 10시55분에 이미 주차장은 포화상태를 보여 최초 대기차량이 발생하였으므로 주차공급이 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 그러나, 관광지라는 특성상 기후나 시기적 영향을 많이 받는다는 점을 감안해야할 것이다. 따라서, 관광지 주차장의 조사는 여러 가지 측면에 더 연구되어질 필요가 있다.

An Investigation for Driving Behavior on the Exit-ramp Terminal in Urban Underground Roads Using a Driving Simulator (주행 시뮬레이터를 활용한 도심 지하도로 유출연결로 접속부 주행행태 분석)

  • Even though driving behaviors in underground roads can be significantly different from ground roads, existing underground roads follow the design guidelines of ground roads. In this context, this study investigates the driving behaviors of the exit-ramp terminal of urban underground roads using a driving simulator. Virtual driving experiments were performed by analyzing scenarios between the underground and ground road environments. The experiments' driving behavior data for each geometry section are compared and validated through a statistical significance test. This test showed that the speed in the underground road environment is relatively low, and the LPM tends to move away from the adjacent tunnel wall. Based on these findings, this study suggests implications and feasible solutions for improving driver's safety in the exit-ramp terminal of the underground roads.

Derivation of Factors Affecting Demand for Use of Dockless Shared Bicycles Based on Big Data (빅데이터 기반의 Dockless형 공유자전거 이용수요 영향요인 도출)

  • In this research, the usage status and characteristics of user big data of Mobike, a dockless bike sharing service introduced in Suwon city, were analyzed, and multiple regression analysis was performed to identify factors influencing the demand for dockless bike sharing service. For analysis, usage data of bike sharing system in Suwon city in 2019 were obtained, and they were organized by areas. As a result of analyzing the characteristics of the influencing factors selected for each area, it was found that the extension of bicycle roads shows high in areas with high demand for bicycles or adjacent areas. Also, the population of 10-30's shows high in areas with high demand for bicycles or adjacent areas. In addition, it was analyzed that the use of bike sharing system is high in areas with high maintenance rate of bicycle roads and large-scale residential and commercial facilities near residential districts and adjacent areas. As a result of the multiple regression analysis, it is analyzed that length of bicycle·pedestrian roads (non-separated), population of 10-30's, number of railway stations, number of schools, number of commercial facilities, number of industrial facilities factors were significant. It is expected that it may be possible to create an environment in which citizens want to use dockless bike sharing service by identifying factors affecting the number of stationless shared bicycles. Also, the results of data analysis are considered to be contributing to policy data to promote the use of dockless bike sharing.

Assessment of influence of old mine gangway on stability of road tunnel in mine area (광산지역 도로 터널링에 있어 폐갱도가 터널 안정성에 미치는 영향 평가)

  • In the construction of the road tunnel in mine area, old mine gangways can cause the instability of the tunnel. In this case study, the field investigation is carried out to figure out the location of old gangways adjacent to the tunnel, and their influence on the tunnel stability is estimated according to the location pattern and rock condition by FLAC analysis. The grouting reinforcement of tunnel crown region and old gangway is suggested and its role on assurance of the tunnel stability is also verified. It can be said from this study that the effect of the old gangway on the stability of tunnel varies with the dimension of gangway, distance from the tunnel, rock condition and groundwater, and therefore these paramerter should be compositively considered in the assessment of the tunnel stability.
