  • The phase of science and technology is growing in the national competitiveness. The major countries have a lot of effort being made to expand science and technology capabilities. Acquiring top talents in science and technology is a key pillar of this effort. In this study, we show the needs of businesses and organizations need to look and expect the role of the top talents in science and technology. In addition, we present implications for engineering education and human resources management on the utilization of top talents in science and technology.

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) have limited human and material resources than large firms. SMEs are characterized by high risk and dynamic working environments. Thus human resources having knowledge and technologies are very important factor for survival and performance in SMEs. Recently, as core employee group is a key asset to firm competitiveness, many SMEs attend to set up core employee policy and system. The purposes of this research are to examine the effect of core employee policy and core employee management system on competitiveness of human resource and organizational commitment in SMEs. The major findings of the research are core employee policy have non-significant influence core employee management system, core employee policy have positive influence competitiveness of human resource, core employee management system have non-significant influence competitiveness of human resource, and competitiveness of human resource have positive influence organizational commitment in SMEs.

  • This research aimed to propose policy alternatives on acquisition and retention of SME's R&D personnel through the analysis of the status and problems of SME's R&D personnel. As research methods, literature review, survey analysis, domestic and foreign R&D personnel support system and practices benchmarking, human capital corporate panel (HCCP) and integrated survey DB material analysis, and case investigation by interview were used. The occupational status and problems of SME R&D personnel concerned on the corporate size, HRM practices on satisfaction and HRD problems, talent personnel management and training system status, the core talent management system and R&D personnel management system, and its complaints were organized. As conclusion, we have proposed alternatives on acquisition and retention of R&D personnel focused on the talent management. Suggestions were such as supports on R&D personnel management system and its dissemination, systematic career development programs, and excellency promotion on SME's and R&D talent personnel.

  • A "high-potential employee" is an employee who has been identified as having the potential, ability and aspiration for successive leadership positions within the company and identify employees who have the greatest future potential and make them future-ready to take your organization to success. The primary purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationships of corporate performance on the high potential employee system using the samples from HCCP panel data. This study seeks to identify a significant high potential employee system though empirical research as well. Results of empirical study are summarized. Finally suggestions, implications and limitations of the present study are also discussed. In this article, we explore the role of competitive strategy and technological environment in the introduction of high-potential employees and its link to impact of these performance.

  • Entering $21^{st}$ Century, the most critical keyword for companies is change and innovation. To achieve it, Obtaining right person becomes more and more important to those companies. It is not only supported by managers in business world but also by academia. However it is not easy to obtain right persons who have right experiences and knowledges. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to build strategic system which support help to hire and manage human resource. In this study, the suggested system is a type of strategic simulation game and job seeker can get several opportunities to be hired by joining the game. this system would help for companies to manage and hire right persons and there will be extra business opportunities. In conclusion, this system based on strategic simulation game would help human resource management and also promote job market and exchanging and trading companies' information and knowledge as well.

  • 신기술의 발전에 대한 예측이 어려운 상황에서 가속력을 가지고 급변하는 경영환경은 새로움을 요구하고 있다. 그 새로움을 누가 어떻게 찾아 실행하는가가 기업의 경쟁력이 된다. 기업들의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심적인 과제는 통제가 아닌 자율권을 부여함으로써 미래를 예측하고 능동적으로 대처하여 창의적인 역량과 능력을 갖춘 인재를 양성하고 관리 하는 것이며 이와 연결되는 개념이 슈퍼리더십이다. 지금 우리의 사회는 첨단 산업과 관련된 4차 산업혁명의 물결과 패러다임의 변화로 인해 창의성과 스피드 경영이 절실하다. 정형화된 환경이 아닌 위험과 도전이 공존하는 시간이다. 기업은 인재관리를 위한 노력과 그들이 현시대에 맞는 리더십을 갖추어 도전할 기회를 마련해 주어야 한다. 특히 새로운 혁명적인 기술이 출현 되고 기존의 기술이 고도화 및 극대화되는 산업 중심 시대에 구성원들의 잠재 능력을 배양해 기업이 경쟁 우위를 확보하고 최고의 경영성과 창출을 위해 슈퍼리더십의 필요성을 강조하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 중소기업의 슈퍼리더십이 경영성과에 미치는 영향관계를 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과 기업이 지속할 수 있는 경영성과를 창출하기 위해서는 리더십을 개발하고 그에 맞는 인재를 육성하는데 더 많은 투자를 해야 한다. 지금과 같은 무한 경쟁시대에 기업이 지속가능한 성장과 더불어 생존하기 위해서는 조직구성원의 역량 극대화에 노력하고 그들이 몰입하게 하는 강력한 슈퍼리더십 구축이 절실하다고 판단된다.

  • In the middle of global circumstance, having superior workmanship becomes very important factor to be competitive company. Especially, manufacturing development transferred to industry of knowledge service in these days, having superior workmanship is very important factor to determine company's success or failure. Because of this reason, company invests lots of money in recruiting and manages employees in the aspect of total period, such as workmanship training, management and assessment. This study research about development of 'Recruiting Serious Games' and suggests game that makes company conduct recruiting mission for some period and gives practical interview and chance of work through quantitative and qualitative assessment.
