For the construction of accurate scientific citation information, author disambiguation should be primarily resolved. This study proposes a method that utilizes URI(Uniform Resource Identifier) to create precise author citation networks. The adoption of URIs for representing authors and papers in this study enables us to maintain the integrity of constantly changing citation information and to guarantee the accessibility to the right literature. In experiments, we extracted 2,872 author-centric citation relation pairs from recent major IT-related proceedings written in Korean. From those, 135 citation network groups were discovered. The findings of this study are expected to be applied to a variety of researcher network services and scientific information portal services.

A new technique for revealing the research fronts of a interdisciplinary discipline has been developed. Citation image makers profiling (CIMP) determines the relationships between research papers with the title words of the citing documents. We adapted this new technique to analyze the research fronts and hot topics in women's studies of Korea. By Korean Citation Index (KCI) data in 2015, we selected 148 papers cited more than 9 times as the core documents of women's studies. Analysis of intellectual structure using citation image makers profiling was performed with the 148 core documents and those citing papers. Document co-citation analysis was hindered by citation data sparsity, while CIMP method successfully revealed the structure of research fronts of Korean women's studies including 2 divisions and 6 subdivisions. The CIMP method suggested in this study has good potential to discover the characteristics of research fronts of interdisciplinary research domains.

This paper compares two recent methods for exploring a scientist's research history: citation identity and self-citation network. The former is proposed by White(2000), while the latter is suggested by Hellsten et al.(2007). An experimental citation analysis was carried out on the research output of Young Mee Chung, a renouned Korean information scientist. The result shows that the two methods divided the research period into two sub-periods in the same way. They also identified the major research themes very similarly. In the analysis of each method's performance in depth, the two methods revealed different functions to understand a researcher's history. Citation identity was useful to identify authors who have affected Chung's research in terms of research topics. whereas, self-citation network was successful to identify the core papers and leading papers of the research sub-periods. This study indicates the combination of two methods can provide rich information on a scientist's research history.

This study is to analyze impact factor, self-citation, immediacy index and cited half-life through citation analysis of scholarly journals of LIS field in Korea. This study was analysed the 9,329 references cited in Korean scholarly journal of LIS field. As a result, it analyzed that the articles of Korean LIS journal among the cited references in scholarly journal of LIS field in Korea is very insignificant. In other words, the percentage of citations was observed 19.1% in Journal of Korean Library and Information Science Society (KSLIS), 20.2% in Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science (KLISS), 17.0% in Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management (KOSIM), 18.8% in Korean Biblia Society for Library and Information Science (KBIBLIA). Also, the cited half-life was analysed 5.87 years in KSLIS, 5.40 years in KLISS, 4.25 years in KOSIM, 3.57 years in KBIBLIA. And Impact factor has been found to be very low compared to journals of other fields.

인용 레코드 추출은 인용 색인 구축의 모든 프로세스 입력으로 사용되기 때문에 이후의 과정에 미칠 수 있는 부작용을 고려해서 최대한 정확한 정보가 추출되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 수집한 논문의 참고문헌 영역을 인식하고 이를 참고문헌 영역 내의 특징들을 이용하여 인용 레코드를 추출하는 템플릿 기반 인용 레코드 추출을 제안한다. 제안된 추출 방법은 기존 방법보다 18% 성능이 증가했으며 전체 인용 레코드에 대한 추출성능은 0.98(F1)의 성능을 보인다. 이는 향후 논문 저장소에서 논문을 대상으로 영역 인식을 통한 정보 추출에 유용하게 활용될 수 있으리라 기대된다.

This study comparatively investigated citation behavior of articles by researchers in the field of mechanical engineering in Korea and Japan. For the study 7, 515 citations from 202 articles covered in KSME, 243 articles covered in JSME, and 129 articles indexed in SCI are analysed. It identified the general citation behavior, the difference with citation behavior by publication place, low use of grey literature and Korean publications by Korean researchers, and the difference with citation behavior between Korean and Japan researchers.

청자를 직접 대면한 상황에서 1인칭 화자는 {X, Y, 말했다}의 인용구조를 갖추지 않은'[...]고'의 '유사인용문'을 사용하여 주관적 관점을 표현한다. '-다고'로 종결되는 유사인용문 형식이 인용문의 화법과 유사한 기저구조를 지니는 것으로 보고, 화법구조상에서 관점문과 보고문의 의미적 속성을 밝혀나가는 과정에서 유상인용문의 발화 효과와 화자의 발언의도를 설명한다. 화자가 취하는 관점의 선택에 따라 1인칭 화자인 [나] 이외에 다른 제 3 의 주체, 사회적 구속력 등이 화자의 배경지식에 자리잡는 것을 가능세계의 논리적 분할의 측면에서 구분하고 이것이 유사인용문 화자의 발언 동기에 반영되는 정도의 차이에 따라서 화자의 단언적 태도와 완곡의 태도가 각각 실현되는 것임을 보인다.

This paper focuses on the critique of citation analysis and then attempts to prospect for the future. The development of citation analysis has been marked by the invention of new techniques and measures, the exploitation of new tools, and the needs of evaluation of scientific research. Normative theory takes the lead in this development. But critics have questioned both the assumptions and methods of citation analysis. This critics are based on the microsociological perspective.

최근 특정 주제의 지적 구조를 파악하기 위한 저자 동시인용분석, 동시단어분석, 서지결합법 등 계량정보분석에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우 계량정보분석 기법을 활용한 정보 유통 프레임웍을 갖추고 있는 연구기관이나 대학이 아직 없는 실정이다. 그 이유는 특허나 과학문헌에 대한 인용정보를 보유한 곳이 없고, 거대 인용정보 행렬을 계산하기 위한 컴퓨팅 자원을 확보하지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 미국 특허 데이터베이스를 대상으로 인용 피인용 행렬을 생성한 후, 클러스터 컴퓨터를 사용하여 동시인용과 서지결합빈도를 계산하고 그 결과를 이용자에게 제공하는 정보 유통 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구는 2005년부터 2013년 3월까지 Scopus에서 페미니즘 분야를 선정하여 이에 해당하는 논문 37편과 이 논문들이 인용한 유튜브 55개를 대상으로 학술논문들이 유튜브를 인용할 때 활용하는 유형과 문제점을 살펴보고 참고문헌으로서 유튜브의 표기사항에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 연구 의도를 효율적으로 보여주는 유튜브는 0.34%의 인용률을 나타내고 있으며 지속적으로 인용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 유튜브 접속오류는 55개중 6개(10.9%)이며, 참고문헌으로서 유튜브의 표기가 부적합하게 기재된 경우는 38개(69.1%)였다. 그 원인으로 올바르게 표기하지 않은 저자의 노력 부족과 인용된 유튜브가 학술정보로서 충분한 정보를 제공하지 못한 경우가 중요한 요인으로 나타났다.
