The purposes of this study were to identify core journals for pharmaceutical researches in Korea and to examine the research domains of Korean pharmaceutical researchers. Journal citation frequency analysis and journal co-citation analysis were performed on the research papers of Korean pharmaceutical researchers. Korean researchers' citation data were gathered from SCOPUS for foreign journals and KSCD for domestic journals. 116 core journals were identified through citation frequency analysis and journal relationships were suggested as a pathfinder network of journals. Factor analysis on journal correlation matrix resulted in 18 subject domains and related journal lists were also given.

The citation information of academic resources contains the knowledge flow from previous research, so it is possible to connect fragmented research in relational aspects. The citation information can grasp the overall flow of research, so it can promote convergence research such as developing existing research or deriving related fields. Therefore, in this study, the citation information of academic literature, which was previously provided at the level of simple disclosure, was reconstructed based on the citation relationship. Through this, backward and forward citation analysis were conducted based on time series, and the research flow was analyzed by setting the citation stage. Finally, we developed an academic information service that visualizes the main research contents of backward and forward citation based on time series. This accesses academic resources through the meaning contained in the citation information.

In this paper, we present the analysis of the fact that normalization and types of citation fields have an effect to the citation matching. Citation matching indicates the series of grouping process for the citation records referring to the same paper. The citation matching combines the comparison results of citation fields, and determines which citation records are the same. For the citation field comparison in the citation matching phase, studies on the normalization and types of citation fields are needed. But they are relatively insufficient when compared with the studies on citation matching methods. In this research, we showed that the citation matching performance was affected by the normalization and types of citation fields. Additionally, we also analyzed the combination of normalized multiple fields. According to the experimental result, the citation field had the overall performance improvement through a normalization, and the performance mode differently showed up at the citation field type.

By document co-citation analysis with Korean Citation Index (KCI) data, this study accurately identified the research fronts and hot topics in Korean library and information science (LIS) from 2004 to 2013. 159 core papers in LIS domain and their citations are scraped manually from Korean Citation Index web site. In the cluster analysis and network analysis, 159 core papers were grouped into 27 clusters with multiple papers and 8 singlton clusters. Among the 27 clusters which have multple papers, 'LIS education' cluster was the largest with 16 core papers, and 'citation analysis & intellectual structure analysis' cluster had the strongest citation impact according to the ehs-index. Closer observation of the citations to the core papers in each research front showed that 67.5% of the citations were made by LIS research papers and 32.5% of the citations were made by non-LIS research papers. Considering the share of citations and the citation impact growth index, 'local documentation', 'citation analysis & intellectual structure analysis', and 'research trends analysis' were identified as the most emerging research front in Korean library and information science. The analytical methods used in this study have great potential in discovering the characteristics of research fronts in Korean interdisciplinary research domains.

오늘날 지식기반사회에서 새로운 과학의 출현이 새로운 산업으로 확산되어 국가경쟁력에 이바지하고 있다. 일반적으로 논문을 통한 연구는 과학을 대변하고, 기술은 특허로 대체되는 것으로 인지하고 있다. 현재 과학은 SCI 의 인용색인 데이터를 바탕으로 각 문헌에 대한 인용통계정보를 제공하는 저널평가 테이터베이스인 JCR을 활용하여 분석하고 평가, 파악하고 있는 실정이다. 과학기술 분야의 누적된 논문수, 인용횟수, 연구자 분석 등 다양하게 적용할 수 있다. 반면 특허는 전체 출원, 등록건수 등 국가의 거시적인 흐름을 평가하는 수단으로는 주로 활용되어지고 있으나 정보소스의 한계나 분석시의 한계로 인하여 다양한 분석이 활용되기 어려운 실정이다. 인용정보로서 활용시 이를 위한 과도한 전처리 작업이 요구되며, 분석이 번거롭고 용이하지 않는 현실이므로 다양하게 분석시 사용하기가 어렵다. 이를 활용하여 문헌에 적용된 분석을 활용하여 새로운 고부가 정보를 제안해 보고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify differences between KCI and Naver Scholar as citation analysis tools. Four subcategories in the humanities category were selected as the subject of study. The recall of Naver Scholar was 64%(2,227 times) and the KCI's was 77%(2,665 times). There were some differences in the results at the individual article level or the subcategory level, but the gaps were not significant. Therefore, researchers who analyze citations are urged to use both databases because neither of them are complete, but supplementary to each other.

한국의 과학기술정보 유통 및 분석 전문기관인 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)은 동북아시아 국가들간의 정보 협력과 국제 협력을 위하여 오랜기간 일본과 중국의 정보 유통 전문기관들인 JST와 ISTIC과 함께 CJK(Chinese, Japanese, Korean) 국제회의와 연구협력을 지속해오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이들 국가간 인용정보를 매개로 하는 새로운 학술정보의 개발을 위한 기초 연구를 수행하여, KSCD 참고문헌에 출현하는 일본 및 중국의 고인용 학술지와 양국간 주제분야별 인용특성을 살펴보고 응용 서비스 사례를 제시하였다.

The Utilizing patterns of the library were grasped by the citation analysis of the foreign academic journals. From 2002 to 2003, the professors of J University in J city referred to 4,749 foreign journals in their 258 articles published in the domestic journals. Among them, 1,030 pieces on engineering. 741 on natural science, 2,286 on social sciences, 636 on human sciences and 56 on arts and sports were analyzed. The Result of the analysis showed that more journals were cited than the monographs in the fields of engineering, natural science and social science. In addition. $68.2\%$ of the citations were out of the journals listed in SCI. The Journals within 6-10 years in their publication were the most preferably cited.

This study analyzed news articles about 'Young-Kl' reported by 11 media outlets, identifying news frames and quotation frames. Using a semantic network analysis, this study inspected the quotations frames and measured the frequency of the quotes and sources types. Also, the concentration index of the frames was measured. The results showed that news frames consisted of 10 topics and quotation frames consisted of 14 topics. Although the differences among quotation frames by media as well as by source types were observed, the concentration index of sources such as government, political arena, and business appeared high. Therefore, this study suggested that numerical diversity of news sources would not establish the diversity of news frames.

학제적 분야는 다양한 주제범주의 자료를 이용하는 특성이 존재하기 때문에 대학도서관이나 전문도서관에서는 학제적 분야에 대한 새로운 학술지 관리방안이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 SCIE 논문을 발표한 국내 연구자들의 인용패턴을 바탕으로 저널 인용분석과 학제성 분석을 실시하여 학제적 분야의 학술지 관리 방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 인용률 기반의 학제성 분석이 기존의 인용빈도를 바탕으로 한 방법과 함께 학제적 분야의 학술지를 관리하는 데 있어 유용함을 확인하였다.
