Identifying citing sentences from article full-text is a prerequisite for creating a variety of future academic information services such as citation-based automatic summarization, automatic generation of review articles, sentiment analysis of citing statements, information retrieval based on citation contexts, etc. However, finding citing sentences is not easy due to the existence of implicit citing sentences which do not have explicit citation markers. While several methods have been proposed to attack this problem for English, it is difficult to find such automatic methods for Korean academic literature. This article presents a rule-based approach to identifying Korean citing sentences. Experiments show that the proposed method could find 30% of implicit citing sentences in our test data in nearly 70% precision.

This study attempted to explore the characteristics of knowledge communication and investigate important research topics and key authors by analyzing major academic papers in the field of LIS in Korea for five years from 2018 to 2022. The research method collected and analyzed papers published for five years in four key journals in the field of domestic Library and Information Science from the Korean Citation Index (KCI) database. The paper was selected to extract the author data of the paper and the data of the reference, and network visualization was performed by conducting literature co-citation analysis and author co-citation analysis using Netminer. As a result of the analysis, it was possible to derive a pair of co-citations between authors, and it was confirmed that it is important to include multiple authors in the intellectual structure analysis in the academic field through co-citation frequency analysis among researchers. The literature confirmed the correlation between the topics of the paper, and it was found that research related to Library and Information Science was centered on the topics of library, digital, user, service, and data.

White가 제안한 자아 중심 인용 분석은 연구자를 대상으로 다면적인 분석을 가능하게 하는 방법이다. 이 연구에서는 자아 중심 인용 분석을 연구자 단위가 아닌 연구 주제에 대한 분석으로 응용하는 자아 중심 주제 인용 분석 기법을 제안하고, 시험적으로 폭소노미 주제의 연구문헌 집단에 응용하여 관련 연구의 핵심 문헌들과 주요 적용 이론을 반영하는 인용 정체성과 인용 이미지를 파악해보았다.

본 연구는 우리나라 디자인학분야 5개 학회(협회)지의 2002년분에 인용된 3,046개 문헌을 인용문헌의 형태별, 발행지별, 발행년도별, 주제별로 분석하여 디자인학분야 연구자의 문헌 이용행태와 문헌의 이용가치 감소현상 즉 반감기를 측정하였다. 연구결과 디자인학분야 연구자들은 단행본(62.5%), 학술잡지기사(21.8%), 논문(10.8%), 보고서(2.9%), 기타(2%)순으로 많이 이용하였으며, 단행본의 인용이 현저히 많은 것으로 자료 형태별 이용에 있어 국내 디자인학분야 연구자의 연구활동이 국내 사회과학, 미술분야와 유사하다고 볼 수 있다. 발행지별로 분석한 결과는 국내 디자인학분야 연구자들이 국내문헌을 해외문헌보다 2.5배정도 많이 이용한 것으로 국내문헌에 많이 의존하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이것은 해외문헌을 국내문헌보다 2배정도 많이 이용한 것으로 분석된 사회과학분야의 선행연구와 비교할 때 디자인학분야에서는 정반대의 현상을 보이는 것이나 4배정도 국내문헌을 많이 이용한 것으로 분석된 미술분야의 선행연구와는 유사한 결과를 나타내는 것이다. 디자인학분야 문헌의 반감기는 5.75년이었으며, 자료형태별 반감기는 단행본(6.64년), 논문(5.97년), 학술잡지기사 (4.55년), 기타(3.73년), 보고서(3.41년) 순으로 분석되었고, 발행지별 반감기는 해외문헌(9.1년), 국내문헌(5.1년)순으로 분석되었다. 또한 타주제와의 관계분석에 있어 경영학, 건축술, 공학 등과 긴밀한 관계를 맺고 있는 것으로 디자인학이 단순히 미를 추구하는 것이 아니라 산업경쟁력 증진의 도구로서 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있다.

By document co-citation analysis with Korean Citation Index (KCI) data, this study accurately identified the research fronts and hot topics in Korean library and information science (LIS) from 2004 to 2013. 159 core papers in LIS domain and their citations are scraped manually from Korean Citation Index web site. In the cluster analysis and network analysis, 159 core papers were grouped into 27 clusters with multiple papers and 8 singlton clusters. Among the 27 clusters which have multple papers, 'LIS education' cluster was the largest with 16 core papers, and 'citation analysis & intellectual structure analysis' cluster had the strongest citation impact according to the ehs-index. Closer observation of the citations to the core papers in each research front showed that 67.5% of the citations were made by LIS research papers and 32.5% of the citations were made by non-LIS research papers. Considering the share of citations and the citation impact growth index, 'local documentation', 'citation analysis & intellectual structure analysis', and 'research trends analysis' were identified as the most emerging research front in Korean library and information science. The analytical methods used in this study have great potential in discovering the characteristics of research fronts in Korean interdisciplinary research domains.

This study is made as part of an attempt to explore the citation dependency in the field of Korean sociology. 213 articles by 136 authors in by The Korean Sociological Association issued in $2001{\sim}2005$ were surveyed and their 10,172 references were analyzed. Main research results are as following : 1) Researchers in this field are fairly foreign literature oriented, and problem interest (sources of research ideas) was deriving from domestic literature, but theoretical resources was depending on foreign literature almost. 2) The foreign citation dependency of 'Foreign Doctor' appeared greatly higher than that of 'Domestic Doctor', therefore, the country of doctor' degree and the citation dependency was close correlation. 3) Foreign citation dependency appeared high even research to Korea society.

This research examined the composition background of Miscellaneous Explanations of Seongho(湖僿說), the representative work of Yi Ik(李瀷, pen name is Seongho 星湖, 1681-1763), then selected the 443 cited references in the book, and analyzed the features of them such as the scales and characteristics of reference, the proportion of Chinese books, the ratio of latest editions and the relative importance by subjects. After examining the ratio of Goryeo-Joseon and Chinese books among 443 references in Miscellaneous Explanations of Seongho, it was revealed that there were 23.3% of Goryeo-Joseon books and 76.7% of Chinese books cited. The investigation on the editorial period of the referred Chinese books showed that 70% and more were books of the Song and pre-Song period, whereas 22.7% were books of the Ming-Qing period. The analyzation of the proportions of the reference by subject showed that the subject fields with highest percentage appeared in the order of historical books, poetry and prose collections, Confucian classics, and novels and essays. And besides these subjects, he had been interested in various subjects: Miscellaneous Schools, Confucian School, geography, regulation of systems, painting and music, dictionary, biography, encyclopedia, and so on.

전 세계적으로 부는 한류열풍으로 인해 우리나라에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있으며 이에 따른 한류 관련 연구의 수 또한 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한류 연구의 핵심 문헌을 선정하고 이를 대상으로 동시인용 분석을 수행하여 한류 연구의 지적구조를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 KCI 인용 데이터베이스에서 국내 한류 연구 문헌 116건과 2,042건의 인용정보를 수집하였다. 문헌동시인용기법을 활용하여 분석한 결과 한류 연구 영역을 한류의 파급효과와 영향력 관련 영역, 한류의 정체성 관련 영역으로 2개의 대군집과 5개의 중군집으로 구분 지을 수 있었다.

This study analyze the cited literatures of six chapters of Limwonsibyukji, which mainly deal with agriculture. As a result, it is confirmed that among citations twenty kinds of literature have orthographic errors in title and fifty three kinds of literature are abbreviated titles. Totals of cited literature which concerned with agriculture in Limwonsibyukji are 357 kinds and citation frequency is 5349 times. Core literatures which citation frequency over 100 times are Kunbangbo, Nongseo, Nongjeongjeonseo, Bonchogangmok, Jeminyosul, Jengbosanlimkyongje, Nanhoeomokji, Haeongpoji, Hwahansamjaedohae, Bakjumokdansa and six chapters of Limwonsibyukji concerning agriculture was mainly compiled through direct citation from raw materials.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the accessibility of web resources contained in the references section of journal articles.1 was identified a total of 1,377 web citations for a major journal in information science over a ten year period. The results show that the accessible ratio of domestic web resources was at 40% and the ratio of foreign web resources about 50%. The accessible ratio of domain type web resources was shown 58% while the same ratio for file type web resources was 45%. This low accessibility of we resources in references poses threat to the overall value of journal articles.
