  • It is thought that the various PRs of public library are the PR within the jurisdiction. outside the jurisdiction, by print media. by audio-video media. by fixture. by event. by media outlet. by campaign, through cyber space. and through associated organization. But the strategy of PR from this study is followed. First. the team for PR should be organized. Second. the librarian for PR should be distributed. Third, the budget for PR should be raised. Forth. the organizations of community should be made the full use of for PR. Fifth, the media outlet of the community should be made the best use of. Sixth. the news letter published by public library should be utilized. Seventh. the internet homepage of public library should be made good use of.

A Study on the Effect of Book-Trailers As a After Reading Activity (독후활동으로써 북트레일러의 효과 연구)

  • This research aims at executing a after reading activity using book trailers for the teenagers, and verifying its effects. For the investigation into its effectiveness, 6 classes on the first grade in a middle school were divided into 3 classes of an experimental group (104 students) and the other 3 classes of a comparative group (100 students), and a preliminary and a post test were conducted using the measurement tool on creativity and reading attitudes. As the result, the creativity, reading attitudes and understanding of the selected books of the experimental group were found to be better than those of the comparative group.

  • 2012년은 4월 국회의원 총선거와 12월 대통령선거 등 굵직한 선거가 두 번이나 치러진다. 각종 선거에서 정당의 정책이나 후보자의 공약을 알릴 수 있는 유력한 매체가 홍보인쇄물이다. 홍보인쇄물(선거공보물) 제작과 배포가 법률로 정해져 있기도 하지만, 무엇보다도 정해진 시간과 한정된 형식을 통해 지역사람들, 때로는 전 국민을 상대로 하는 홍보에 인쇄물이 영향력을 발휘해왔기 때문이다. 물론 TV나 라디오와 같은 전파 미디어, SNS와 같은 통신 미디어를 통한 선거운동이 활성화되면서 인쇄물을 통한 홍보는 그 영향력이 점차 약화되는 추세다.

  • 박종도(주)윤일문화 대표가 인쇄제작을 맡은 '한국철학사전'이 최근 발간됐다. 한국철학에 남다른 열정과 애정을 가지고 있는 박종도 대표는 인쇄사 사정이 어려운 와중에도 '한국철학사전' 발간을 중도에 포기하지 않고 진행했다. 한국철학사전은 2년 7개월에 걸쳐 민간신앙, 불교, 유교, 실학, 도교, 기독교를 망라하여 고대부터 현재까지의 주요 철학인물들과 핵심용어, 저술들을 총정리한 책이다. 이 책은 2011년 문화체육관광부 우수교양도서, 간행물윤리위원회 권장도서로 선정됐으며, 한겨레신문, 조선일보, 동아일보, SBS TV 등 주요 매체에서도 앞다퉈 소개하는 등 화제가 되고 있다. 본지에서는 이 책 발문에 쓰인 박종도 사장의 글을 소개한다.

  • 한국하이델베르그(대표 김범식)는 지난 1월 5일 본사 회의실에서 휴닉스(대표 명노삼)와 컬러매니지먼트 협약식을 가졌다. 이날 협약식은 인쇄에 관한 토탈솔루션을 제공하는 한국하이델베르그와 컬러매니지먼트 솔루션을 공급하는 휴닉스의 협력으로 고객들에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있다는 양사의 판단에 따른 것으로 양사는 올 한 해동안 최대 10개 고객사 이상을 대상으로 양사의 장비와 솔루션이 공급될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 협약식에 이어 양사 대표와 임원은 인쇄전문매체 기자단과 인터뷰 시간을 가졌다.

  • Magazines in this 21st century which is most influenced by digital medium are in the middle position widely between traditional one; broadcastings & newspapers and new one; the mediums based on internet. Although most of the people said magazines were disappeared by growth of the digital technology, contrary to their expectations, magazines have more fixed position now by professionalizing itselves with more diverse themes. However, digital media such as Internet became a part of every day life that cannot be ignored, and digitalization of magazines was not an option but an indispensable stipulation. Especially, web version development of existing magazines is becomes an urgent issues. Therefore, the study of type of expression that can be used for existing publishers to keep their identity on digital medium is a necessary result. As the study which it sees regarding the notion and an intergral part of the Magazine Identity it leads, it materialize the construction phase of the Magazine Identity. With this categorization which will reach domestic, it compares and analyzes an outside instance, presently it constitute the expression type of a magazine that is published.

  • To achieve the advertising objectives, we must first draw out consumer's advertisingto advertising, and then realize the data processing course from comprehension to the retention of the advertising contents. In current media environment, however, the value of advertising as the method of attracting consumer's attention is declining due to the current situation of newspaper and magazine advertising as follows. As for newspapers, competitive messages are increasing on a continuous basis; the size of advertising section and the number of newspaper pages has been increased along with the popularization of color advertising. As for magazines, more pages are allocated for advertising rather than for the actual contents. In such communication environment, it is believed that only the advertising capable of uniquely appealing to consumers can achieve the purpose of advertising. Hence, this research attempts to discuss the effective ways of promoting attention in print media through the case studies covering the design principles relating to layout and the layout format, among the visualization processes related to the consumers'memory.

Risk Management of Digital Information Resources Preservation in University Libraries (디지털 정보자원 보존의 위험관리 분석: 대학도서관 전자정보실 중심으로)

  • University libraries have developed digital information resources for digital services and have tried to preserve valuable digital information. Because digital preservation raises challenges of a fundamentally different nature which we added to the problems to preserving traditional format materials, it is necessary that preserving digital resources must be discussed and researched actively. This study conducts risk management for exploring preserving technologies and assessing tools. It is found that most university libraries have used format conversion frequently and do not use the emulation technology. It is also found that medium refreshing has the lowest risk probability and isk impact, but information migration and emulation technology have the highest in the risk probability and in the risk impact individually and the absence of full-time professional staff causes high risk.
