본 연구는 지리정보시스템(GIS)과 지리적 가중 회귀(GWR)를 이용하여 건강 관련 삶의 질(HRQoL)의 사회인구학적 상관요인에 대한 공간분석을 시도한다. 관찰의 독립성과 오차의 동분산성을 가정하는 전통적 회귀분석과 달리, 지리적 가중 회귀분석은 속성정보뿐만 아니라 공간정보를 활용하는 공간분석 기법이다. 분석모형은 건강 관련 삶의 질을 종합적으로 측정하는 EQ-5D를 종속변수로 하고 지역의 사회인구학적 특성인 노령인구비율, 조이혼율, 병상수, 재정자주도를 독립변수로 하여 구성하였다. 종속변수는 질병관리본부에서 실시한 <지역사회건강조사>의 자료를 이용하였고, 독립변수는 통계청 온라인 DB에 수록된 지역별 자료를 이용하였다. 모형을 추정해 본 결과 전반적으로 사회적 특성보다는 노령인구비율이나 조이혼율과 같은 인구학적 특성이 건강 관련 삶의 질에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 공간적 변이를 고려하는 지역모형은 전역모형에서 드러나지 않았던 중요한 유형을 보여주는데, 노령인구비율 변수와 조이혼율 변수의 지역별 추정치를 지도상으로 살펴본 결과 변수들의 효과가 공간적 위치에 따라 차이를 보인다는 점이 확인되었다. 분석 결과는 또한 지리적 가중 회귀분석이 전통적 회귀분석에 비해 공간적 자기상관의 문제를 극복하고 모형의 부합도를 증가시킨다는 것을 보여준다.

This paper offers a method to measure the distribution of niches of two types of social organizations, Internet sites and voluntary organizations, based on the socio-demographic characteristics of their members. It examines the niches of Internet sites based on age and education of site visitors and those of voluntary organizations based on age, education, and occupational prestige of their members. The method to measure organizational niches makes it possible not only to understand the niche width of organizations but also to examine the extent to which organizations potentially compete and coexist. This leads to a method to recognize the way organizational environments influence the performance of individual organizations ecologically.

본 연구는 한국 기혼여성의 차별출산력 분석으로 인구학적 특성으로 연령, 초혼연령, 혼인상태 및 가족유형(가구구성)을 포함하구 사회경제적 특성으로 거주지역, 교육정도, 경제활동상태, 직업 및 주택 점유형태를 포함하였다. 통계청의 인구주택총조사를 원자료로 하여 인구 및 사회경제적 변인들이 출산력에 미친 영향을 파악하기 위하여 다변량 분석기법을 이용하였다. 초혼연령이 높아지면서 출산수준은 현저히 낮아졌으며, 배우자와 동거하는 기혼부인의 출생아수가 가장 많았으며, 이혼한 경우 가장 적었다. 자녀양육을 위한 부모의 도움을 받을 수 있는 3세대 이상 가족이 동거하는 가구의 경우 출산수준이 상대적으로 높았다. 그러나 최근 이혼이 급증하면서 유배우 상태가 빠르게 감소하구 1세대나 독신가구의 증가와 3세대 이상 가구의 감소는 앞으로의 출산수준을 더욱 빠르게 할 것이다. 사회경제적 특성별 차이에서도 유사한 현상을 발견할 수 있었다. 도시규모가 클수록, 학력수준이 높을수록, 전문사무직종에 근무할 경우, 그리고 전월세로 거주할 경우에 출산수준이 낮았다. 사회경제적 특성별 출생아수의 차이는 1980년에 가장 컸으며, 그 후 지속적으로 감소하고 있다. 더욱이 출산수준이 높은 농촌인구의 급감, 교육수준의 향상으로 교육간 차이의 감소 농어업직에 종사하는 기혼여성의 감소 등은 전체적인 출산수준을 빠르게 감소시키는 요인으로 작용하였다. 기혼부인의 특성별 출생아수의 차이는 여전히 뚜렷하였으나 그 차이는 점차 감소하고 있다. 또한, 출생아수가 많은 집단의 구성비가 빠르게 줄어드는 것을 감안하면 전체적인 출산수준의 감소는 더욱 빨라질 수 있다. 앞으로 2005년 인구주택총조사의 결과가 발표될 때 그 간의 특성별 출생아수의 차이와 인구구성비의 변화를 분석하면 대체출산수준에 근접한 1980년 이후 빠른 출산력의 감소원인을 이해하고 출산력의 장래 변화를 효과적으로 예측하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine effects of socio-demographic, health, and delinquent behavior factors on internet addiction among the Korean youth. This study used the 2009 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior On-line Survey data. It selected 73,238 cases of junior and senior high school students from the raw data and conducted a secondary data analysis. Frequency analysis, chi-square test and logistic regression analysis was conducted. Being male, living without parents, low economic status, poor academic record, poor subjective health status, poor subjective well-being, high level of stress, presence of depression and experience of drug use significantly increased likelihood of internet addiction. Findings may be used for developing strategies to deal with internet addiction among adolescents in Korea.

This study is to find out awareness of necessity of opening independent clinic for the PT and the effect of PT's professionalism according to Socio-Demographic Characteristics of Physical Therapist(SDCPT). The methods of this study are a survey with 253 physical therapists(PT) who live in Seoul or Gyeonggi, Korea, 2015. This study focus on SDCPT. As a result, PT was aware of the legal modifications needed for opening independent clinic regardless of the socio-demographic characteristics of them. It found that professionalism of PT does not show higher level. But, who has more age, clinical experience, higher level of education and main interesting field of physical, they have been given credit for high level of professionalism, irrespective of where they have worked. The conclusion is that PT recognized necessity of the legal modification to allow for them to open their own clinic. However, at this moment the level of PT's professionalism recognized by law was not enough to let them open their independent clinic.

This study was carried out in order to offer basic data available for being helpful to promoting periodontal health, by analyzing effects in socio-demographical and health-behavior characteristics on index of evaluating periodontal status. The study conducted a survey for the 151 adults aged 30 to 59 from October. 1, 2006 to March. 30, in 2007. The collected data were analyzed with t-test and one-way of variance using SPSS 12.0. Then, the following result were obtain. 1. sociodemographic and health-behavior characteristics is not related to O'Leary plaque index, Loe & Silness gingival index. 2. The number of sextants possessing periodontal pocket was higher in men(3.34) than women(2.43), also statistically significant difference in the occupational fields. Smoker(3.38) was higher than non-smoker(2.72), and it was higher over 3 times a week than almost no drinking as for frequence alcohol intake. 3. The amount of loss for inter-dental alveolar crest was higher in men(71.79) than women(42.24), was highest of the 'professional' in the occupational fields, and smoker(67.23) was higher than non-smoker(48.22). 4. There was significantly difference in the number of missing tooth between age and frequence of alcohol intake. These results that occupational fields, smoking and alcohol intake were related to the number of sextants possessing periodontal pocket and amount of loss for inter-dental alveolar crest.

이 글은 강원남부 탄광지역의 쇠퇴와 인구사회학적 변동 양상을 검토하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 우선 탄광지역의 특성을 살펴보고 탄광지역이 쇠퇴하게 된 원인을 규명하고자 한다. 그 다음으로 지역사회에 나타나고 있는 산업구조와 인구구조의 변화를 중점적으로 살피고자 한다. 연구 결과 태백지역이 쇠퇴하게 된 직접적인 요인은 석탄산업 합리화 정책의 시행으로 볼 수 있다. 이와 함께 태백지역은 탄광산업이 지역성장이 유일한 원동력이었다는 사실 즉, 탄광산업의 쇠퇴는 바로 이 지역의 급격한 경기침체와 인구유출의 직접적인 원인이 되었음을 알 수 있다. 급격한 경기침체는 산업구조의 변화에서 잘 드러나고 있으며 인구유출 양상은 지역의 인구변화 추이에서 잘 드러나고 있다. 최근 폐광지역개발지원특별법에 의해 수립된 종합개발계획도 상당 부분 무산되거나 기약 없이 미뤄지고 있다는 점과 지역개발을 강원랜드 카지노에만 지나치게 의존하고 있는 문제점 등이 드러나면서 지역경기 침체와 인구감소 추세는 계속되고 있다. 탄광지역의 주민소득 증대는 물론 새로운 고용창출로 지역경제를 활성화시키는 보다 구체적이고 실질적인 발전 전략이 필요하다.

The purpose of this study was to examine effects of socio-demographic, health, and internet addiction factors on smoking behavior among the Korean youth. The 2009 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior On-line Survey data was used for this purpose. Frequency analysis and chi-square test were employed for this study. Gender, living with parents, economic status, school level, academic record, subjective health status, subjective well-being, level of stress, level of depression and internet addiction were significantly associated with their smoking behavior. Findings may be used for developing promising strategies to cope with smoking behavior of adolescents in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to examine how socio-demographic characteristics and delinquent behaviors affect the suicidal ideation among the Korean high school students. Using the 35,668 senior high school student cases of 2009 Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior On-line Survey data, it conducted a secondary data analysis. Frequency analysis, chi-square test and logistic regression analysis was done. Being female, living without parents, low economic status, poor academic record, technical school students, young students, poor academic record, internet addition, problem drinking, smoking cigarettes and experience of drug use significantly increased probability of their suicidal thoughts. Findings may be used for tackle the issues of suicidal thoughts among the Korean senior high school students.
